Trump And Fmr. Obama Defense Intel Director After Nice Attack Say We’re At War
Video Transcript:
In the aftermath of the terrorist attack in
Nice,
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn is calling this a new age "world war."
FLYNN: We have not established an international set of strategic objectives to go after this very vicious, barbaric enemy. They have declared war on us. This is a world war, this is a world war.
It's not like it was in the history books of
World War II. It may not feel like that, like tanks in the desert and planes and ships at sea. But this is a world war, they've declared war on us. I'm done trying to convince our president to actually define this enemy. We know what it is; it's racial
Islamic terrorism. They are vicious, they are barbaric. They are on the march.
Donald Trump shared the same feelings with
Bill O'Reilly.
O'REILLY:
I believe it's a world war now.
We are in a world war scenario. It's no longer just isolated
ISIS attacks. Do you agree with that?
TRUMP: I certainly do.
And I've been saying it for a long time. It's out of control. We have a president that doesn't want to call it what it is. And you know, you look at
World Trade Center, you look at
San Bernardino, you look at
Paris, 130 people killed and so many injured in Paris from that attack, and you look at
Orlando. It's out of control. And
Bill, unless we get strong and really strong and very, very smart leadership, it's only going to get worse.
Flynn said he wants to see our nation and nations in the
Middle East stand up and condemn this attack.
FLYNN: I want the president of
Egypt, I want the
King of Saudi Arabia, I want the
Imam, I want
Khomeini in
Iran to stand up and be counted. And I want them to be counted tonight. So I want these leaders in this
Muslim world that have this radical Islamic ideology festering, metastasizing, to stand up and stand up tonight and be counted and say something to condemn this attack that we have just seen. We are going to see more of these. These guys are executing a campaign plan.
