In this video we take a look at 5 of the most chilling cctv videos that show paranormal activity.
Number 1
The Wingate Hotel ghost.
On September 14th 2003 at the wingate hotel in Illinois, there were numerous reports of loud noises coming from room 209 which is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Screams were said to have been heard and in this video you can see one of the hotel workers investigating the noise and you can also hear the hotel manager in the background. Once he goes into the room, he finds a lot of strange things and we can see a ghostly figure walk out and into the hallway.
Number 2
Ghost Attack In a Malaysian Hotel.
In this very creepy video that was allegedly captured in an Malaysian hotel, we can see a chair moving on it's own and a door slamming shut. The video then cuts to a room where a woman is alone and is sitting on a chair. Behind her we can see another chair that slides out on it's own, and the woman appears to get very nervous. moments later, a chair in front of her moves by itself and the woman jumps up and falls to ground in fear. She then tries to escape the room but once she starts running, the entity moves several objects to the door and blocks her in. She hits her head on the table and seconds later appears to be unconscious.
Number 3
Manchester Poltergeist caught on CCTV.
On the 1st of November, 2012, during the early hours at an office building on Liverpool Road, Manchester. CCTV footage catches what appears to be a poltergeist roaming the building and creating a mess. It is said that this footage is what the security workers witnessed at the time as they were flicking from camera to camera.
Number 4
The whitsable shop ghost.
This video was taken in 2013 in whitsable, England. We can see a customer as he browses the shelves for health products. Behind him we can see a box of teabags that appear to be floating in mid air. Another item falls off the shelf, and the man picks it up unaware of the floating item inches away from him. The shop keeper says she is baffled by the footage, but has not changed her skeptical views on the paranormal although she admits she has no idea how to explain it.
Number 5
Carlisle Castle Hotel ghost.
This video which was taken in 2014 at the Carlisle Castle Hotel in Australia. starts with CCTV footage of what appears to be a ghostly image that seems to be waving at the camera. It then shows a male worker opening a fridge, and at the same moment we can see 2 glass bottles falling out of the shelf behind him. The bottles appear to have been pushed by an unseen entity due to the angle they fall. The video then cuts to the other side of the bar, and we can see a female worker standing still, all of a sudden a glass object seems to move on it's own and smash on the ground.

Bizarre footage of a model allowing herself to be ‘possessed’ by a legendary and supposedly cannibalistic spirit on live TV has emerged online.
The weird footage from Thailand shows the young woman sitting with two TV hosts when she begins to make strange guttural noises before howling at the sight of the males hosts necklace.
The two hosts then take advantage of the spirit being powerless to interview the ghost, as its host wails and writhes in her seat, asking it why it had possessed the model.
Chillingly the spirit answers in a strange voice that ‘someone sent me here!’ the creature then demands pig’s blood, refusing to name who had sent it.
Before the alleged possession the model, Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang, commented that she was often visited by a sinister ghost and 13 minutes into the interview she said that a ‘Pop’ had come to possess her.
While ‘Pop’s’ may sound like adorable little creatures they’re in fact rather sinister figures in Thai folklore apparently manifesting as woman-like creatures that devour human viscera.
Legend has it that the Pop was created when a prince who’d learnt the secret of swapping bodies with animals tricked an evil servant into forfeiting his body and then destroying it, dooming the servant to live on as a ghost forced to consume human flesh to survive.
Probably wouldn’t want to bump into this model on a dark night then…

16 mm film is a popular, economical gauge of film. 16 mm is the width of the film. Other common film gauges include 8 mm and 35 mm. It is generally used for non-theatrical (e.g., industrial, educational) film making or for low budget motion pictures. It also existed as a popular amateur or home movie making format for several decades, alongside 8 mm film and, later, Super 8 mm film. In 1923, Eastman Kodak released the first 16 mm "outfit" consisting of a camera, projector, tripod, screen and splicer for $335. RCA-Victor introduced a 16 mm sound movie projector in 1932 and developed an optical sound-on-film 16 mm camera, released in 1935.
History
Eastman Kodak introduced 16 mm film in 1923 as a less expensive amateur alternative to 35 mm film. During the 1920s, the format was often referred to as sub-standard by the professional industry.
Kodak hired Willard Beech Cook from his 28 mm Pathescope of America company to create the new 16 mm Kodascope Library. In addition to making home movies, people could buy or rent films from the library, a key selling aspect of the format.

Bizarre footage of a model allowing herself to be ‘possessed’ by a legendary and supposedly cannibalistic spirit on live TV has emerged online. The weird footage from Thailand shows the young woman sitting with two TV hosts when she begins to make strange guttural noises before howling at the sight of the males hosts necklace. The two hosts then take advantage of the spirit being powerless to interview the ghost, as its host wails and writhes in her seat, asking it why it had possessed the model. Chillingly the spirit answers in a strange voice that ‘someone sent me here!’ the creature then demands pig’s blood, refusing to name who had sent it. Before the alleged possession the model, Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang, commented that she was often visited by a sinister ghost and 13 minutes into the interview she said that a ‘Pop’ had come to possess her. While ‘Pop’s’ may sound like adorable little creatures they’re in fact rather sinister figures in Thai folklore apparently manifesting as woman-like creatures that devour human viscera. Legend has it that the Pop was created when a prince who’d learnt the secret of swapping bodies with animals tricked an evil servant into forfeiting his body and then destroying it, dooming the servant to live on as a ghost forced to consume human flesh to survive. Probably wouldn’t want to bump into this model on a dark night then… -

The Wingate Hotel ghost.
On September 14th 2003 at the wingate hotel in Illinois, there were numerous reports of loud noises coming from room 209 which is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Screams were said to have been heard and in this video you can see one of the hotel workers investigating the noise and you can also hear the hotel manager in the background. Once he goes into the room, he finds a lot of strange things and we can see a ghostly figure walk out and into the hallway.
Number 2
Ghost Attack In a Malaysian Hotel.
In this very creepy video that was allegedly captured in an Malaysian hotel, we can see a chair moving on it's own and a door slamming shut. The video then cuts to a room where a woman is alone and is sitting on a chair. Behind her we can see another chair that slides out on it's own, and the woman appears to get very nervous. moments later, a chair in front of her moves by itself and the woman jumps up and falls to ground in fear. She then tries to escape the room but once she starts running, the entity moves several objects to the door and blocks her in. She hits her head on the table and seconds later appears to be unconscious.
Number 3
Manchester Poltergeist caught on CCTV.
On the 1st of November, 2012, during the early hours at an office building on Liverpool Road, Manchester. CCTV footage catches what appears to be a poltergeist roaming the building and creating a mess. It is said that this footage is what the security workers witnessed at the time as they were flicking from camera to camera.
Number 4
The whitsable shop ghost.
This video was taken in 2013 in whitsable, England. We can see a customer as he browses the shelves for health products. Behind him we can see a box of teabags that appear to be floating in mid air. Another item falls off the shelf, and the man picks it up unaware of the floating item inches away from him. The shop keeper says she is baffled by the footage, but has not changed her skeptical views on the paranormal although she admits she has no idea how to explain it.
Number 5
Carlisle Castle Hotel ghost.
This video which was taken in 2014 at the Carlisle Castle Hotel in Australia. starts with CCTV footage of what appears to be a ghostly image that seems to be waving at the camera. It then shows a male worker opening a fridge, and at the same moment we can see 2 glass bottles falling out of the shelf behind him. The bottles appear to have been pushed by an unseen entity due to the angle they fall. The video then cuts to the other side of the bar, and we can see a female worker standing still, all of a sudden a glass object seems to move on it's own and smash on the ground.

Bizarre footage of a model allowing herself to be ‘possessed’ by a legendary and supposedly cannibalistic spirit on live TV has emerged online.
The weird footage from Thailand shows the young woman sitting with two TV hosts when she begins to make strange guttural noises before howling at the sight of the males hosts necklace.
The two hosts then take advantage of the spirit being powerless to interview the ghost, as its host wails and writhes in her seat, asking it why it had possessed the model.
Chillingly the spirit answers in a strange voice that ‘someone sent me here!’ the creature then demands pig’s blood, refusing to name who had sent it.
Before the alleged possession the model, Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang, commented that she was often visited by a sinister ghost and 13 minutes into the interview she said that a ‘Pop’ had come to possess her.
While ‘Pop’s’ may sound like adorable little creatures they’re in fact rather sinister figures in Thai folklore apparently manifesting as woman-like creatures that devour human viscera.
Legend has it that the Pop was created when a prince who’d learnt the secret of swapping bodies with animals tricked an evil servant into forfeiting his body and then destroying it, dooming the servant to live on as a ghost forced to consume human flesh to survive.
Probably wouldn’t want to bump into this model on a dark night then…

"The Surprise" - 16mm Film Shoot (Behind The Scenes)
My first project in my Production 1 class this semester was to shoot a short film using a 16mm Bolex film camera. I was given 100 feet of film, roughly 2 minutes and 45 seconds, and a list of camera angles that had to be included. The story could be anything I wanted. Shooting on a film camera is such a tedious and time consuming process, requiring exact measurements of light, distance, focus, and everything else that would only take seconds to set working with a digital camera. It took around 7 hours total to shoot the entire length of film. As of uploading this video, I have no idea how any of the footage turned out. When I get it back in a couple of weeks, I will edit and upload the final product. The entire thing may be completely messed up, but I guess that's part of the learning...

Shooting on a film camera is such a tedious and time consuming process, requiring exact measurements of light, distance, focus, and everything else that would only take seconds to set working with a digital camera.
It took around 7 hours total to shoot the entire length of film.
As of uploading this video, I have no idea how any of the footage turned out. When I get it back in a couple of weeks, I will edit and upload the final product. The entire thing may be completely messed up, but I guess that's part of the learning process.
