Near the date of the course they will receive the last information about the place, accomodation in the hotel and how to reach it. Vaccine for yellow fever is mandatory to come to French Guiana before to take plane. Objectives - to help the development of innovative practices in the adult education and their transfer from participanting country to the others. - to have experiences and "reflecting through action", gain knowledge about Amazonia. and to know methods for teaching different subjects "out of the classroom"; - To experience and learn about education in the environment; personal and social development, environmental education and outdoor activities; - To encourage international exchanges as well as future co-operation between participants; French Guiana it's a part of Europe in south America: On the north-east coast of South America, between Surinam and Brazil, Guyana is a fascinating and wild country. A green paradise par excellence, French Guiana is almost entirely covered by thick Amazonian forest and criss-crossed by wide rivers. Almost half of its eight million hectares of French Amazonian are a protected environment, 90% covered by forest. is an overseas department (French: department d'outre-mer or DOM) of of France, located on the northern coast of South America Like the other DOMs, French Guiana is also an overseas region of France. The aim is to introduce participants to the preservation of natural environment fauna and flora. for that we will work on differents places : Kaw , Voltaire falls, falls Fourgassié, gabriel Creek, observing or watching leatherback turtles on the beaches of Monjoly and Awala Yalimapo ... Methodology The course is thematic and interdisciplinary with a few number of lectures but mostly with workshops in groups, activities for learning and experiencing methods as well as examples of teaching outdoor in the environment. This is combined with exercises and actions in two perspectives, the teaching and the learning process. The course is carried out indoor and outdoor, using the landscape as well as the surroundings. Structured in frontal lessons is carried out by teachers and qualified school and university experts. Follow-up Follow-up by sending to participants tools regarding the activities: online questionnaires, didactical tools, pictures of the course, new course proposals, evaluation forms, final test to check the final satisfaction, after a while. Registration to a web platform based on the PBWorks for all the member of the group and for dissemination and the exchange of opinions.
