Mangalam Nerunnu is a 1984 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Mohan. The film stars Mammoootty, Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu, Jose Prakash and Prathapachandran in lead roles. The film had musical score by Ilayaraja.

Nedumudi Venu

K. Venu Gopal (born 22 May 1948), known popularly by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, is an Indian film actor from Kerala. Widely regarded as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema, he has also written screenplays and has directed one film.

Early life

Venu was born as Venugopal to P. K. Kesavan Nair-a school master- and P. Kunjikkuttiyamma in Nedumudi, Alappuzha as youngest of their five children. He has four elder brothers. He had his primary education from N S S Higher Secondary School, Nedumudi, and St. Mary's Higher Secondary School,Champakulam. He was involved in art and music since his academic period. After graduating from Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha, he worked as a journalist in Kalakaumudi and as a teacher in a tutorial institute. Venu was living in Thiruvananthapuram when he made friends with the likes of Aravindan, Padmarajan , Bharath Gopi etc. This ultimately paved way for his film career. He is a talented Mridangam player.

Family

He is married to T. R. Susheela. The couple have two sons, Unni and Kannan.

M. D. Rajendran

M. D. Rajendran is an Indian musical artist and also a famous scriptwriter, director, screenplay writer. His debut film was Mochanam in 1979.

Biography

M. D. Rajendran was born at Ponkunnam of Kottayam district, Kerala. He is the son of Ponkunnam Damodaran. M. D. Ajayaghosh and M. D. Ratnamma are his siblings.

P. K. Abraham is an Indian actor in Malayalam movies . He has acted more than 100 Malayalam films. He is an actor who had supporting roles and character roles during the 1970s and 1980s. He has worked for Malayalamanorama. He has also written some screenplays for Malayalam movies such as Dhruvam, Sreekrishna Parunthu, Nirakkoottu, Sandarbham, Ee Nadu, Kolilakkam, Nattuchakkirittu, Yaamam and Ashtamangalyam. He hails from Kottayam.
