Discover the simple tricks to spool braided fishing line on a spinning reel the right way so you never get those pesky line twists and loops in your line. Spooling a spinning reel with braided line can actually play a role in how far you cast, how long your fishing line lasts, and how many fish you catch.

This video goes into detail on all of the important parts of the spinning reel spooling process. There are quite a few things that can impact your casting and retrieval when it comes to your spooled spinning reel.
Most of all, be sure to have constant tension on the line (both braided line and mono) while reeling it onto the spool. Without the tension, you'll be at risk of having line issues while casting... aka - wind knots.
As mentioned towards the end of the video, it is great to let your line out while idling forward in your boat and let about 100 to 200 ft of line drag without any lure or knots tied to it. This will help ensure that any twists in the line get straightened out.
But make to watch out for boats (or wave runners) behind you as your fishing line could easily get caught in their prop/intake.

A reel is an object around which lengths of another material (usually long and flexible) are wound for storage. Generally a reel has a cylindrical core and walls on the sides to retain the material wound around the core. In some cases the core is hollow, although other items may be mounted on it, and grips may exist for mechanically turning the reel.
The size of the core is dependent on several factors. A smaller core will obviously allow more material to be stored in a given space. However, there is a limit to how tightly the stored material can be wound without damaging it and this limits how small the core can be.
Other issues affecting the core size include:
With material such as photographic film that is flat and long but is relatively wide, the material generally is stored in successive single layers. In cases where the material is more uniform in cross-section (for example, a cable), the material may be safely wound around a reel that is wider than its width. In this case, several windings are needed to create a layer on the reel.

Captain America is a fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (cover-dated March 1941), from Marvel Comics' 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. As of 2007, an estimated 210 million copies of "Captain America" comic books had been sold in 75 countries. For nearly all of the character's publication history, Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.
An intentionally patriotic creation who was often depicted fighting the Axis powers of World War II, Captain America was Timely Comics' most popular character during the wartime period. After the war ended, the character's popularity waned and he disappeared by the 1950s aside from an ill-fated revival in 1953. Captain America was reintroduced during the Silver Age of comics when he was revived from suspended animation by the superhero team the Avengers in The Avengers #4 (March 1964). Since then, Captain America has often led the team, as well as starring in his own series.

Russ Barenberg (born October 8, 1950) is a Grammy-nominated American bluegrass musician.
Barenberg began playing guitar at age 13, taking lessons from Alan Miller, whose brother John Miller Barenberg he would later play with. His style was heavily influenced by the flatpicking technique of Clarence White. He attended Cornell University and met Pete Wernick there in 1968. Together they joined to form Country Cooking, who released two albums of bluegrass before breaking up in 1975.
In 1975 Barenberg briefly began playing electric guitar with a jazz rock group, Carried Away. Late in 1975 he quit playing music, but returned in 1977, moving to New York City to play in the group Heartlands. This group also played backup on Barenberg's debut solo effort, Cowboy Calypso, in 1980. He then moved to Boston, teaching at the Music Emporium in Cambridge. Here he played in the groups Fiddle Fever and Laughing Hands.
In 1986 Barenberg moved to Nashville, where he has played often with Jerry Douglas and Maura O'Connell, and done much work as a session musician with Béla Fleck, Hazel Dickens, Mel Tillis, and Randy Travis, among others. He has released several instructional videos.

Spooling a spinning reel with braided line can actually play a role in how far you cast, how long your fishing line lasts, and how many fish you catch. There are quite a few things that can impact your casting and retrieval when it comes to your spooled spinning reel. Most of all, be sure to have constant tension on the line (both braided line and mono) while reeling it onto the spool. Without the tension, you'll be at risk of having line issues while casting... aka - wind knots. As mentioned towards the end of the video, it is great to let your line out while idling forward in your boat and let about 100 to 200 ft of line drag without any lure or knots tied to it. Reel Flight: Medina Lake Teaser
First aerial video i put together with my new quadcopter. This was at my old favorite Medina Lake. Right about 10 minutes outside of San Antonio TX is Red Cove Marina which is where this was shot. I didn't venture far out on this maiden voyage due to having video feed issues. Therefore i was flying blind basically with no telemetry. I did a firmware update so hopefully that'll fix things. I did all the editing and music mix of loops so hopefully you all enjoy. Please don't forget to hit the like button and subscribe!!! -

Egypt’s chief prosecutor and the Paris prosecutor have ordered an “urgent investigation” into the crash of EgyptAir Flight 804, which crashed in the Mediterranean on Thursday with 66 people aboard en route from Paris to Cairo, Breitbart reported. Nashik. Co-operatives minister Chandrakant Patil on Friday said the Maharashtra government was planning to procure onions worth Rs 25 crore to help farmers reeling under decline in prices. "We have discussed the issue with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and the government is checking the possibility to procure onions. The onions reaching the market now are summer crop with a better shelf life," he said ... ....
