Various people have asked me to demonstrate the Ninja's ability to get to 60MPH. People have also been very interested if the bike has enough power to pass or overtake other traffic on the road while cruising at 60MPH.
In regards to the zero to sixty segment, I really feel that my take off is what's hurting this the most. If you can see past my slow clutch release into first gear, it would probably shave off a few seconds.
I try to demonstrate (quite crudely) both of these situations in this video.

The Kawasaki Ninja 250R (previous generations had market-specific names) is a motorcycle originally introduced by Kawasaki in 1983. As the marque's entry-level sport bike, the motorcycle has undergone few changes throughout its quarter-century lifetime, having received only two substantial redesigns.
The fourth-generation model is marketed as the Ninja 250R in all markets. The motorcycle is also referred to by its platform designation, EX250, to which a generational suffix is attached. In the United States, previous generations of the bike (EX250-E/F/G/H) were already being marketed as members of the Ninja family of sport bikes, while outside of the U.S. the bike was known variously as the ZZR-250, ZX-250, or as the GPX-250R. One of the earliest generations, the EX250-C, was given the name GPZ-250.
The Ninja 250R's particular ergonomics, chassis design, and engine placement have resulted in a motorcycle that straddles the standard and sport classes. The Ninja's riding posture also falls between standard and sport. The bike is capable of running the quarter mile in 15.58 s @ 81.98 mph (131.93 km/h), although it had been 1 s faster in the prior generation, while providing the amenities of more utilitarian motorcycles, including bungee hooks for transporting cargo and space for a second passenger.

wn.com/2010 Ninja 250 0 60Mph 60Mph Overtaking Abilities
Various people have asked me to demonstrate the Ninja's ability to get to 60MPH. People have also been very interested if the bike has enough power to pass or overtake other traffic on the road while cruising at 60MPH.
In regards to the zero to sixty segment, I really feel that my take off is what's hurting this the most. If you can see past my slow clutch release into first gear, it would probably shave off a few seconds.
I try to demonstrate (quite crudely) both of these situations in this video.

I give a brief introduction to the Ninja 250r, as well as a small 600cc comparison.
This is something to consider before just running out and grabbing that brand new GSX-R.
Despite what you may see in this video, always wear proper gear. Remember, ride within your skill limits and choose your bike appropriately.
Anything with the designation GSX-R, YZF-R, ZX or CBR is designed for TRACK riding, they just made them street legal. Would you give a brand new driver the keys to a Ferrari for their first car? Probably not. I think the same applies to Supersport bikes.
Get a Ninja 250, grip and rip it, have a blast and do it the safe way!

Installing The Ecotrons EFI Kit on a Ninja 250
This is a highly detailed video that shows step by step how I installed my Ecotrons EFI kit on my Ninja 250 pregen. There are other ways to install the kit, but by using this method, most of the install is modularized which makes it simpler overall. Much of the kit is assembled on a bench and then simply bolted on the bike. This allows the majority of the prep work to be done without taking the bike out of service. Then the kit install can be finished in a weekend or less. UPDATE 2/1/2014: In the video I used "Permatex Aviation Form-a-gasket sealer" to seal the threads. This was chosen because it has a high resistance to gasoline. The problem is that it dissolves in alcohol and guess what they are putting in gasoline these days. Then the kit install can be finished in a weekend or less.

UPDATE: 5/26/2014: Sorry for the delay in this update, but the blue (non-permanent) threadlocker does seem to work well. However, it does require a 24 hr drying period before use.
UPDATE: 7/13/14: I got one of the new fuel pumps and I can tell you that you should not install the new pump like the old one in the video. The new pump needs at least a 45 degree angle to allow the bubbles to escape back into the tank through the larger port. I hope to have a new video showing this soon.
Ryan Vallieu has pointed out that Permatex 85420 is resistant to both gasoline and ethanol and can be used as a thread sealant.

Smelly blankets may soon become a thing of past on trains, with the railways deciding to wash them after every use. As per the plan, newly designed lightweight blankets made of soft fabric will replace the existing ones and these will be washed after every use, a first in railways.
