Imagine, if you will, the following scenario: You’re in a hotel room, it’s late, and in your bed is a sleeping someone with their butt exposed. You see a small piece of chocolate and … well, for many of us we’d probably do nothing and just go to sleep. But Kate Beckinsale isn’t one of those people — and what she did next is as hilarious as it is a warning to never, ever fall asleep in the presence of the prank-happy “Underworld” star.
Insisting that she enjoys the “rush” of drawing on or gluing beards to passed-out people, the 42-year-old actress appeared on “The Graham Norton Show,” sitting on the couch alongside stars including Matt LeBlanc and Emilia Clarke — the latter of whom in particular seemed to enjoy her tale of mischief.

“If somebody falls asleep next to me, it’s dangerous,” Beckinsale explains. “I got one of those little chocolates you get by the bed [in a hotel room], and I thought: ‘How funny would it be if I just tucked it in-between the person’s buttocks while they were asleep?”
Although she goes out of her way to avoid naming the name of the mysterious naked-sleeper, Beckinsale does take pride in detailing the prank — and the part where it got even better. “It was a very fortuitous day,” she recalls. “Because this was the morning where the person was in a terrible rush. They just went straight to the pants and the trousers and straight to work!”
Which, for those of you struggling to follow along at home, means that Kate Beckinsale made some poor man go to work with a piece of chocolate up his butt. After squirming for awhile and then going to the bathroom, she says the distraught man thought he had made something else brown in his pants, and got very confused. Prank = success.
As the crowd erupts in laughter, Norton adds: “It smells so minty!”
When LeBlanc then asks how big the piece of chocolate was, Beckinsale responds: “It wasn’t a Toblerone,” which leaves Clarke holding her belly in laughter.
