CONTRACTIONS for HAVE, BE, WOULD, WILL: ’d, ’s, ’ve, ’re, ’m, ’ll
Using contractions is an essential part of sounding like a native English speaker. Some contractions are easier to understand than others. For example, “I will” becomes “I’ll”, and “I am” becomes “I’m”. But when looking at the contractions ‘s and ‘d, the many possibilities can lead to confusion. For example, is ‘s a contraction for “he has” or “he is”? Is ‘d a contraction for “she had” or “she would”? In this lesson, I will teach you how to use contractions correctly every time. Whether you are using the verb “to have”, “to be”, or other modal verbs, I will show you rules you can use to transform your verbs into contractions effortlessly. Plus, I will give plenty of examples to solidify your learning. After the lesson, take the quiz at https://www.engvid.com/contractions-for-have-be-would-...

If you really want to sound more natural and native in your spoken English you have to use contractions. I know it can seem counterintuitive, but contractions are essential in mastering the rhythm and flow of spoken English. In this lesson, part 3 in a 3-part series, we will practice contracting WILL. Be sure to check out lesson 1 to practice IS, ARE and AM and lesson 2 where we practice NOT. These 3 lessons are designed to help you to become aware of, and practice, the MOST common contractions in English.
Lesson 1: Practice contracting IS, ARE, AM - https://youtu.be/we7Mh8Cghtg
Lesson 2: Practice contracting NOT- https://youtu.be/AiFAXX08ffM

Do you want to improve your pronunciation? I have launched my British English (Modern RP) pronunciation course! I’ll train you to read phonetic transcriptions, and produce each sound that comprises modern received pronunciation. I’ll also teach you how to implement the correct use of intonation, stress, rhythm, connected speech, and much more. We’ll compare similar sounds, and look at tricky topics like the glottal stop and the dark L.
Technically, I need to mark this as an AD even though it is my own company so - AD :)
