Pierre Marie Heude
Pierre Marie Heude (25 June 1836 – 3 January 1902) was a French Jesuit missionary and zoologist.
Life
Born at Fougères in the Department of Ille-et-Vilaine, Heude became a Jesuit in 1856 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1867. He went to China in 1868. During the following years, he devoted all his time and energy to the studies of the natural history of Eastern Asia, traveling widely in China and other parts of Eastern Asia.
The first fruits of his research concern the mollusks: his Conchyliologie fluviatile de la province de Nanking (et de la Chine centrale) was published in Paris between 1876 and 1885 in 10 volumes; his Notes sur le mollusques terrestres de la vallée du Fleuve Bleu can be found in the first volume of the Mémoires concernant l'histoire naturelle de l'Empire Chinois, founded by the Jesuits of Xujiahui, Shanghai in 1882. Later he turned his attentions to mammals.
With his remarkable collection of specimens, he helped to set up a museum of natural history at Xujiahui in 1868, the first of its kind in China. (The museum had been known later as Musée Heude, but was incorporated into other museums since the 1950s.) He continued his scientific works until his death at Xujiahui.

Pierre Marie
Pierre Marie (9 September 1853 – 13 April 1940) was a French neurologist who was a native of Paris.
Life and career
After finishing medical school, he served as an interne (1878), working as an assistant to neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot (1825–1893) at the Salpêtrière and Bicêtre Hospitals in Paris. In 1883 he received his medical doctorate with a graduate thesis on Basedow’s disease, being promoted to médecin des hôpitaux several years later (1888). In 1907 he attained the chair of pathological anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine, and in 1917 was appointed to the chair of neurology, a position he held until 1925. In 1911 Marie became a member of the Académie de Médecine.
One of Marie's earlier contributions was a description of a disorder of the pituitary gland known as acromegaly. His analysis of the disease was an important contribution in the emerging field of endocrinology. Marie is also credited as the first to describe pulmonary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy, cleidocranial dysostosis and rhizomelic spondylosis. In his extensive research of aphasia, his views concerning language disorders sharply contrasted the generally accepted views of Paul Broca (1824–1880). In 1907, he was the first person to describe the speech production disorder of foreign accent syndrome.

Pierre Marie (de Saint-Georges)
Pierre Marie (de Saint-Georges) or Alexandre-Pierre-Thomas-Amable Marie de Saint Georges was a French politician, fought on the barricades during the revolution of July.
Marie was born in Yonne on 15 February 1795 and entered public life as a lawyer under the Restoration. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1842 and held the seat until the February Revolution.
He became minister of public works in the provision government in 1848, but was forced out in May of that year. Marie was elected to the Executive Commission and became President of the National Assembly during June 1848. He was then made minister of justice in July 1848 and held the post till December 1848. Marie retired in May 1849 and retired to private life for over a decade. He returned briefly to politics in the 1860s and died on 28 April 1870.

Keeping in the theme of debunking all kinds of cranks and con men in the realm of "alternate cosmology", let's add one more nutjob to the mix. Pierre-Marie Robitaille is a former radiologist who likes to pretend that he understands astrophysics better than astrophysicists. He doesn't. When he talks, he makes ridiculous claims and blatant errors that can be spotted by anyone with a basic understanding of physics and astronomy. Nevertheless, many gullible people speak about him like he's a genius, so I thought I'd explain quite thoroughly how he definitely isn't. If you're someone who has fallen for his lies, please watch.

Pierre Marie Heude
Pierre Marie Heude (25 June 1836 – 3 January 1902) was a French Jesuit missionary and zoologist.
Life
Born at Fougères in the Department of Ille-et-Vilaine, Heude became a Jesuit in 1856 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1867. He went to China in 1868. During the following years, he devoted all his time and energy to the studies of the natural history of Eastern Asia, traveling widely in China and other parts of Eastern Asia.
The first fruits of his research concern the mollusks: his Conchyliologie fluviatile de la province de Nanking (et de la Chine centrale) was published in Paris between 1876 and 1885 in 10 volumes; his Notes sur le mollusques terrestres de la vallée du Fleuve Bleu can be found in the first volume of the Mémoires concernant l'histoire naturelle de l'Empire Chinois, founded by the Jesuits of Xujiahui, Shanghai in 1882. Later he turned his attentions to mammals.
With his remarkable collection of specimens, he helped to set up a museum of natural history at Xujiahui in 1868, the first of its kind in China. (The museum had been known later as Musée Heude, but was incorporated into other museums since the 1950s.) He continued his scientific works until his death at Xujiahui.
