Disorder in the Court is the 15th short film released by Columbia Pictures in 1936 starring American slapstick comedy team The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard).
The comedians released 190 short films for the studio between 1934 and 1959.

Reminding The Saints Of The Hope:
As this century closes, Bishop Carlton Pearson's new album Live At Azusa 3: Reminding the Saints of the Hope, re-introduces us to the music that has carried African-American from the century's opening. What he has crafted is a joyous slice of Americana. These dozen songs echo the golden age of gospel when the Soul Stirrers and Mahalia Jackson were cutting edge and in their prime. These songs also remind us of the triumphs, tragedies and tenacious faith that have followed many of us on our journey through America. Ballads such as "Walk With Me" brought blacks through the nightmare of slavery, Reconstruction and the rise of Jim Crow. "The Lord Will Make A Way" and "How I Got Over" buoyed black America?s strength through the lynching of Emmett Till, the Scottsboro Boys rape trial, separate but equal, lunch counter sit-ins, Brown vs. the Board of Education and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. These historical hallmarks brought America to its knees before God and these songs reflect that important epoch.
This album is sub-titled "Reminding the Saints of the Hope" because today many African-Americans have distanced themselves from the faith that sustained their grandparents. Many have enjoyed the relative racial harmony and social mobility the second half of the century has brought while neglecting the history that brought them this far. The songs are laced with testimonials of fitting into the progress of America. To create the authentic sound of that era while remaining contemporary, Pearson brought together musicians who were steeped in traditional gospel with today's leading gospel voices such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans and Beverly Crawford. There's a moment in the live service where Bishop Pearson asks the stage. For seven minutes a young man named Joshua Nelson, who possesses a unique tenor, becomes the voice of Jackson as he brings her civil rights anthem "How I Got Over" to life once again.
Pearson is one of America's most respected evangelists. He pastors the Tulsa-based Higher Dimensions church that boasts a congregation of 5,000 and serves as bishop to 500 other churches. In 1995, Pearson produced his first "Live At Azusa" album and home video on the Warner Alliance record label. Acting as master of ceremonies and worship leader, Pearson introduced performances by gospel-heavyweights Karen Clark-Sheard and Daryl Coley. The album's success led to the successful sequel, "Live At Azusa 2: Precious Memories", which featured Beverly Crawford and Pop Winans among others.

Yotam Ottolenghi
Yotam Ottolenghi (born 14 December 1968) is a British chef, cookery writer and restaurant owner.
Biography
Yotam Ottolenghi is a British citizen, although he was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Jerusalem's Ramat Denya neighbourhood. He has an older sister, Tirza Florentin and a late younger brother, Yiftach. Yotam avoided assignment to a fighting unit with the IDF, attending the Army-intelligence headquarters instead. He studied at Tel Aviv University before completing a master's degree in comparative literature. At this time he also worked on the news desk of Haaretz, one of Israel’s largest daily papers. In 1997 he moved to the UK, planning to start a PhD but before he enrolled he signed up to train at Le Cordon Bleu cookery school in London for six months He got a job as head pastry chef at the London boutique bakery Baker & Spice and this is where he met Sami Tamimi and Dan Lepard.
Style of cooking
Ottolenghi's cooking style is rooted in, but not confined to, his Middle Eastern upbringing: “a distinctive mix of Middle Eastern flavours – Syrian, Turkish, Lebanese, Iranian, Israeli and Armenian – with a western twist”. His “particular skill" is in marrying the food of his native Israel with a wider range of textures and flavours from the Mediterranean, Middle East and Asia. His palate of flavours is unapologetically bold and loud: “noisy”. Signature dishes include butternut squash salad with red onion, tahini and za'atar, roasted aubergine with turmeric yogurt and pomegranate seeds, chargrilled broccoli with chilli and fried garlic and meringues.

Mary Berry
Mary-Rosa Alleyne Berry, CBE (born 24 March 1935) is an English food writer and television presenter. After being encouraged in domestic science classes at school, she studied catering and institutional management at college. She then moved to France at the age of 21 to study at Le Cordon Bleu school, before working in a number of cooking-related jobs.
She has published more than 75 cookery books including her bestselling Baking Bible in 2009. Her first book was The Hamlyn All Colour Cookbook in 1970. She hosted several television series for the BBC and Thames Television. Berry is an occasional contributor to Woman's Hour and Saturday Kitchen. She has been a judge on the BBC One (originally BBC Two) television programme The Great British Bake Off since its launch in 2010.
Early life
Mary Berry was born on 24 March 1935, the second of three children, to Alleyne William Steward Berry and his wife Margaret ('Marjorie'), née Wilson. Alleyne was a surveyor and planner who served as Mayor of Bath in 1952 and was closely involved in establishing the University of Bath at Claverton Down from 1964. Coincidentally, Mary's great-great-grandfather on her father's side, Robert Houghton, in the 1860s was a master baker who provided bread for a local workhouse in Norwich. Her mother Marjorie was a housewife, who, on occasion, helped Berry's father with bookkeeping. Her mother died in 2011 aged 105.

As this century closes, Bishop Carlton Pearson's new album Live At Azusa 3: Reminding the Saints of the Hope, re-introduces us to the music that has carried African-American from the century's opening. What he has crafted is a joyous slice of Americana. These dozen songs echo the golden age of gospel when the Soul Stirrers and Mahalia Jackson were cutting edge and in their prime. These songs also remind us of the triumphs, tragedies and tenacious faith that have followed many of us on our journey through America. Ballads such as "Walk With Me" brought blacks through the nightmare of slavery, Reconstruction and the rise of Jim Crow. "The Lord Will Make A Way" and "How I Got Over" buoyed black America?s strength through the lynching of Emmett Till, the Scottsboro Boys rape trial, separate but equal, lunch counter sit-ins, Brown vs. the Board of Education and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. These historical hallmarks brought America to its knees before God and these songs reflect that important epoch.
This album is sub-titled "Reminding the Saints of the Hope" because today many African-Americans have distanced themselves from the faith that sustained their grandparents. Many have enjoyed the relative racial harmony and social mobility the second half of the century has brought while neglecting the history that brought them this far. The songs are laced with testimonials of fitting into the progress of America. To create the authentic sound of that era while remaining contemporary, Pearson brought together musicians who were steeped in traditional gospel with today's leading gospel voices such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans and Beverly Crawford. There's a moment in the live service where Bishop Pearson asks the stage. For seven minutes a young man named Joshua Nelson, who possesses a unique tenor, becomes the voice of Jackson as he brings her civil rights anthem "How I Got Over" to life once again.
Pearson is one of America's most respected evangelists. He pastors the Tulsa-based Higher Dimensions church that boasts a congregation of 5,000 and serves as bishop to 500 other churches. In 1995, Pearson produced his first "Live At Azusa" album and home video on the Warner Alliance record label. Acting as master of ceremonies and worship leader, Pearson introduced performances by gospel-heavyweights Karen Clark-Sheard and Daryl Coley. The album's success led to the successful sequel, "Live At Azusa 2: Precious Memories", which featured Beverly Crawford and Pop Winans among others.

Many have enjoyed the relative racial harmony and social mobility the second half of the century has brought while neglecting the history that brought them this far. The songs are laced with testimonials of fitting into the progress of America. To create the authentic sound of that era while remaining contemporary, Pearson brought together musicians who were steeped in traditional gospel with today's leading gospel voices such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans and Beverly Crawford. There's a moment in the live service where Bishop Pearson asks the stage. For seven minutes a young man named Joshua Nelson, who possesses a unique tenor, becomes the voice of Jackson as he brings her civil rights anthem "How I Got Over" to life once again.
Pearson is one of America's most respected evangelists. He pastors the Tulsa-based Higher Dimensions church that boasts a congregation of 5,000 and serves as bishop to 500 other churches. In 1995, Pearson produced his first "Live At Azusa" album and home video on the Warner Alliance record label. Acting as master of ceremonies and worship leader, Pearson introduced performances by gospel-heavyweights Karen Clark-Sheard and Daryl Coley. The album's success led to the successful sequel, "Live At Azusa 2: Precious Memories", which featured Beverly Crawford and Pop Winans among others.

We interviewed Chris Carter about his long history with DIY electronics, modular synthesizers, and the role they've played in his storied musical career. Busy putting the finishing touches on X-TG's recently released "Desertshore / The Final Report," an album initially intended to be Throbbing Gristle's final recording, Carter expressed his enthusiasm for the current crop of eurorack modular synthesizer modules, and how he integrates them with modern tabletop FX units, to create a present-day, cutting-edge revision of his early Throbbing Gristle set up.

As part of the annual MUTEK Festival in Montreal Canada, the I Dream of Wires team curated an evening of cutting-edge, modular synthesizer based performances. The event took place on Saturday June 2, 2012 at the Montreal Satosphere (part of the Society for Arts and Technology), a spectacular 360 degree multi-media performance space with live performances, all incorporating modular synthesizers, by Sealey/Greenspan/Lanza (Orphx/Junior Boys), Keith Fullerton Whitman (Kranky/Editions Mego), Clark (Warp Records), and Container (Spectrum Spools).

New Doc I Dream of Wires Celebrates Modular Synths, Retro Gear

I Dream of Wires, an upcoming documentary about modular synthesizers, celebrates analog hardware in all its wild, messy glory. More than 100 prominent musicians, including Trent Reznor, cEvin Key, Gary Numan, Carl Craig and Morton Subotnick are in the process of being interviewed for the ambitious feature-length film, which is set to be finished in the fall.
Colorful masses of patch cables, rows of knobs and faders, and electronic sounds abound in the exclusive clip above, shot this month at the legendary MUTEK Festival in Montreal. In addition to interviews with several musicians, including Keith Fullerton Whitman, Container and Clark, the 15-minute clip shows intriguing glimpses of the synths in action, in a massive multimedia dome housing 157 speakers called the Satosphere.
The “dedicated and obsessive subculture” of modular synth fanatics across the world formed the inspiration for I Dream of Wires, said director Robert Fantinatto in an e-mail exchange with Wired. “Years ago, I made a small documentary film about the urban-exploration subculture called Echoes of Forgotten Places…. I felt that this whole world of modular synths could make an interesting little film.”
The project soon grew massively in size and ambition. Fantinatto joined forces with Jason Amm, better known as the electronic musician Solvent. With Amm as producer of the film, Fantinatto was able to reach a large number of well-known musicians.
“The trip to see Trent Reznor was probably the most nerve-wracking,” said Fantinatto. “He lives way up on the top of a mountain in Beverly Hills and it [was] quite intimidating leading up to the interview, but Trent was supercool and had us all at ease very quickly.”
But the most jaw-dropping array of modular synth gear that Fantinatto and Amm uncovered didn’t belong to Reznor or any of the other stars they profiled. The best collection, hands down, belonged to a clinical psychologist in Los Angeles.
“He had the most extensive collection of gear I’ve ever seen,” said Fantinatto. “A huge studio with every modular synth ever made, literally every single one ever!”
Fantinatto said he met many modular synth collectors who have “devoted a significant chunk of their lives [to] buying, building and collecting these machines that sometimes take over their homes and their lives.”
“The mystery behind what motivates this irrational obsession is at the heart of the film,” Fantinatto said. “In the end, it is a longing for something authentic — something that has been lost in a virtualized world.”

As this century closes, Bishop Carlton Pearson's new album Live At Azusa 3: Reminding the Saints of the Hope, re-introduces us to the music that has carried African-American from the century's opening. What he has crafted is a joyous slice of Americana. These dozen songs echo the golden age of gospel when the Soul Stirrers and Mahalia Jackson were cutting edge and in their prime. These songs also remind us of the triumphs, tragedies and tenacious faith that have followed many of us on our journey through America. Ballads such as "Walk With Me" brought blacks through the nightmare of slavery, Reconstruction and the rise of Jim Crow. "The Lord Will Make A Way" and "How I Got Over" buoyed black America?s strength through the lynching of Emmett Till, the Scottsboro Boys rape trial, separate but equal, lunch counter sit-ins, Brown vs. the Board of Education and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. These historical hallmarks brought America to its knees before God and these songs reflect that important epoch.
This album is sub-titled "Reminding the Saints of the Hope" because today many African-Americans have distanced themselves from the faith that sustained their grandparents. Many have enjoyed the relative racial harmony and social mobility the second half of the century has brought while neglecting the history that brought them this far. The songs are laced with testimonials of fitting into the progress of America. To create the authentic sound of that era while remaining contemporary, Pearson brought together musicians who were steeped in traditional gospel with today's leading gospel voices such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans and Beverly Crawford. There's a moment in the live service where Bishop Pearson asks the stage. For seven minutes a young man named Joshua Nelson, who possesses a unique tenor, becomes the voice of Jackson as he brings her civil rights anthem "How I Got Over" to life once again.
Pearson is one of America's most respected evangelists. He pastors the Tulsa-based Higher Dimensions church that boasts a congregation of 5,000 and serves as bishop to 500 other churches. In 1995, Pearson produced his first "Live At Azusa" album and home video on the Warner Alliance record label. Acting as master of ceremonies and worship leader, Pearson introduced performances by gospel-heavyweights Karen Clark-Sheard and Daryl Coley. The album's success led to the successful sequel, "Live At Azusa 2: Precious Memories", which featured Beverly Crawford and Pop Winans among others.

Pearson is one of America's most respected evangelists. He pastors the Tulsa-based Higher Dimensions church that boasts a congregation of 5,000 and serves as bishop to 500 other churches. In 1995, Pearson produced his first "Live At Azusa" album and home video on the Warner Alliance record label. Acting as master of ceremonies and worship leader, Pearson introduced performances by gospel-heavyweights Karen Clark-Sheard and Daryl Coley. The album's success led to the successful sequel, "Live At Azusa 2: Precious Memories", which featured Beverly Crawford and Pop Winans among others.
