The first-period buzzer sounded as Molinaro was close to a takedown and he almost notched a second-period takedown that would have tied the match and given him criteria, but Novachkov countered his own takedown and a 4-0 lead ... Metcalf wasn't awarded an apparent match-winning takedown in the final 15 seconds and couldn't challenge because he lost a challenge earlier in the match....
