Like they say, I can’t even hear myself anymore
Yet this thundering echo still beats steady like the rhythm of the leaves
Wisping down from their mother’s arms
And hit on this cold earthship of home
Where is our home
Home?
Where is our home
Is this it or is it simply lost hope?
I am trying not to see this ring of fire that is surrounding us
It has burned my eyes
Just when I thought that I could see again
Hold on
Is this refuge
That we have formed falling?
Or is this our form falling?
Despite pride, despite dispute
Despite discrepancies, despite choice
Despite living this life in fear
And despite this life as it has shown everyone
And now as each new day has passed
It has brought us to share the same path
We watch together as the leaves change
And as things change, we change
Is this refuge
That we have formed falling?
Or is this our form falling?
And as things change
Like all things change
Just like all things change
And as things change
Like all things change
We change
It’s too late and I am tired
Of this life feeding me lies
Just because you claim your redeemer
Doesn’t make me a believer
Can’t believe what you see
It’s just another enemy
That was simply my two cents
