Fire aftermath: Bandipur reserve's director shifted

Weeks after a forest fire threatened to engulf the tourist facility at Bandipur tiger reserve, the government on Friday shunted out sanctuary's director B B Mallesh. Senior IFS officer T Heeralal has been appointed as the new director of the Bandipur while Mallesh, a conservator, has been posted to serve in the forest working plan division ... The new director will assume charge on Monday....
