In this video we're going to show how to use the Virtual Machine that's specially prepared for IC Design using Synopsys Tools. We'll see how to use Synopsys HSpice Simulation, Synopys Hercules Design Rule Check (DRC) and Layout vs Schematic tools (LVS), and finally, Synopsys StarRC's Layout Parasitic Extraction (LPE) tool.
We'll be working with a premade NAND Gate design. First, we'll be testing the testbench schematic if it's working. Then we'll perform DRC, LVS and compare the results of the schematic testbench with the post layout schematic produced by StarRC with the parasitics.
The NAND Gate design shown here does not exhibit the best design practices and is not yet the point of the video. Watch out for our future videos on how to design both digital and analog cells using Synopsys Custom Designer toolchain.

Synopsys, Inc., an American company, is the leading company by sales in the Electronic Design Automation industry. Synopsys' first and best-known product is Design Compiler, a logic-synthesis tool. Synopsys offers a wide range of other products used in the design of an application-specific integrated circuit. Products include logic synthesis, behavioral synthesis, place and route, static timing analysis, formal verification, HDL (SystemC, SystemVerilog/Verilog, VHDL) simulators as well as transistor-level circuit simulation. The simulators include development and debugging environments which assist in the design of the logic for chips and computer systems.
History
Founded in 1986 by Dr. Aart J. de Geus and a team of engineers from General Electric's Microelectronics Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, Synopsys was first established as "Optimal Solutions" with a charter to develop and market ground-breaking synthesis technology developed by the team at General Electric.

In this video we're going to show how to use the Virtual Machine that's specially prepared for IC Design using Synopsys Tools. We'll see how to use Synopsys HSpice Simulation, Synopys Hercules Design Rule Check (DRC) and Layout vs Schematic tools (LVS), and finally, Synopsys StarRC's Layout Parasitic Extraction (LPE) tool.
We'll be working with a premade NAND Gate design. First, we'll be testing the testbench schematic if it's working. Then we'll perform DRC, LVS and compare the results of the schematic testbench with the post layout schematic produced by StarRC with the parasitics.

A nostalgic episode of an established businessman- Ahkam. One day, stack on the highway, he takes a unusual road and that reminds him child-hood memories. The snapshots from struggling family days, unfulfilled desires, friendship, relations and dreams make Ahkam emotional. He connects the smell of his father with own father-hood in a very stunning way. The film takes us towards the complex reality & perception of a father within the backdrop Ahkam's innocent childhood memories.
Bengali word 'Ghraan' means Smell. Ahkam, as like his other lively friends, were from poor families who could not afford to taste kebab in the nearby restaurant. So, their fun was to have the smell of that when they used to pass by. But one day, he finds his poor father ordering for kebabs in there. He got so upset that he refuges eating Kebab when his poor father bought kebab home, actually for Ahkam..
Little Ahkam is now a big merchandiser. He is affluent with his own family and child. On this coincidental travel after so many years, Ahkam can realize now his misjudgement about his poor father.

Stalli is a man who loves playing video games, watching Tv and movies, He also is into movie/video production hence why he has this youtube channel. Greta Zimmer Friedman's son says his mother died Thursday at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She died from complications of old age, he said. Nasa has sent a spacecraft chasing after an unexplored asteroid, in the hope that it might one day keep us from being destroyed. The Osiris-Rex robotic hunter has blasted off to the asteroid Bennu. When it gets there it will scoop up bits of ancient space rock - which could eventually tell us not just about where we came from but whether there is life elsewhere as well ... It might also help them learn more about what to do if one is....
