That's not gone well: Top Gear's season opener doesn't fire on all cylinders

The BBC Two's Top Gear returned Sunday night in the U.K. (and Monday night in on BBC America in the U.S.) after an 11-month hiatus ... Not to toot my own horn, but I had a premonition that LeBlanc would make an excellent addition to the show a few weeks before BBC Two announced he was joining the cast ... Clearly, BBC Two thought they could just throw money at the problem....

This weekend, the new version of Top Gear premiered on the BBC in the UK ... Still, I’m sure the BBC was expecting the newness of the new Top Gear would contribute to higher ratings than normal, especially during the premiere ...
