Yambol (Bulgarian: Ямбол) is a city in southeastern Bulgaria, an administrative centre of Yambol Province. It lies on both banks of the Tundzha river in the historical region of Thrace. As of February 2011, the town has a population of 72,843 inhabitants. It is occasionally spelt 'Jambol'.
The administrative centres of two municipalities are situated in Yambol. One is of the rural area of Tundzha Municipality and the other is of the homonymous Yambol Municipality that embraces the city itself.
Yambol Peak on Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica is named after Yambol[citation needed].
The surrounding area has been inhabited since the Neolithic and was the location of the ancient Thracian royal city of Kabyle. It was founded or refounded by Philip II of Macedon as an Ancient Greek polis. Conquered by the Romans, but destroyed by the Avars in 583). Yambol was founded by Roman Emperor Diocletian in AD 293; though it was named Diospolis (Διόςπόλις in Greek 'city of Zeus'), the name also reflected the emperor's name. The name later evolved through Diampolis (Διάμπόλις), Hiambouli (Ηιάμβόυλι; in Byzantine chronicles), Dinibouli (دنبلي; Arabic chronicles), Dbilin (Дбилин; in Bulgarian inscriptions), and Diamboli (Диамбоюли) to become Yambol. As the Slavs and Bulgars arrived in the Balkans in the Middle Ages, the fortress was contested by the Bulgarian Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire, becoming part of Bulgaria in 705 AD during the reign of Khan Tervel. It has been an important Bulgarian center ever since.

Steep mountains at the southwest and northeast dominate the landscape and make you feel like in a valley when you are in Kyustendil. The mountains here are up to 2 200 meters high and very steep. The mountains, especially the northeastern mountains of Kyustendil have very steep mountainslopes and are very rocky. They are so steep that even in winter they are hardly covered by snow. At places with rivers in Kyustendil the mountains make you feel like in a typical mountain place in the Alps. The rocky mountains completely dominate the landscape and provide very majestic views. Especially the sundowns and sunrises are majestic and unforgotable. The Osogovo mountain starts right at the south of Kyustendil and rises up high of the roofs of Kyustendil. People travelling to the east of Kyustendil will encounter even bigger mountains. The majestic Rila mountain is close to Kyustendil and has the highest peak of Bulgaria called Musala. It is 2925 meters high.
The area between Macedonian borderpoint Gueshevo and Dupnica is a very picturesqueue place characteristic for their almost vertically rising mountains. It reaches it´s peak in the east where the high Rila mountain rises. The western slopes of Rila mountain are high and rocky. If you go inside the mountain you can find Bulgaria`s steepest rockpeaks, which are located at the Rila monastery, the most fammous monastery in Bulgaria and tourist magnet. Steep mountains at the southwest and northeast dominate the landscape and make you feel like in a valley when you are in Kyustendil. The mountains here are up to 2 200 meters high and very steep. The mountains, especially the northeastern mountains of Kyustendil have very steep mountainslopes and are very rocky. They are so steep that even in winter they are hardly covered by snow. At places with rivers in Kyustendil the mountains make you feel like in a typical mountain place in the Alps. The rocky mountains completely dominate the landscape and provide very majestic views. Especially the sundowns and sunrises are majestic and unforgotable. The Osogovo mountain starts right at the south of Kyustendil and rises up high of the roofs of Kyustendil. People travelling to the east of Kyustendil will encounter even bigger mountains. The majestic Rila mountain is close to Kyustendil and has the highest peak of Bulgaria called Musala. It is 2925 meters high.
The area between Macedonian borderpoint Gueshevo and Dupnica is a very picturesqueue place characteristic for their almost vertically rising mountains. It reaches it´s peak in the east where the high Rila mountain rises. The western slopes of Rila mountain are high and rocky. If you go inside the mountain you can find Bulgaria`s steepest rockpeaks, which are located at the Rila monastery, the most fammous monastery in Bulgaria and tourist magnet. Huge Bulgarian property with swimming pool!

Very clean and well kept, with beautiful nature and with all necessary
amenities. There are shops, restaurants, regular buses, 2 petrol
stations, etc.There are 2 factories for grain, which helps a lot to
the village to be well developed, as local people and people from the
nearby villages have work and live there. There is no ugly abandoned
houses everywhere like in the other villages.
The nearest attraction to the village - 3 km - is the motocross track
where the world championship motocross Grandprix takes place. Another
attraction in the area are the world famous Krushuna waterfalls -
really beautiful. Other near attractions are the old capital Veliko
Turnovo with the Tsarevets fortress, the Dunabe town Svishtov, many
monasteries, cultural attractions and lakes in the area. The closest
airport is the Romanian one in Bucharest, about 2 hours drive from the
village, may be a little bit less. Bucharest airport is preferred by
many visitors of Bulgaria as the flights are cheaper than at the
Bulgarian airports.
The house is very well fenced. There are neighbors but not too close
and not overlooking the property.
The property has really big potential and is perfect of living and
running a business.

The "code yellow" districts include Pleven, Lovech, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Ruse, Targovishte, Sliven, Yambol, and Burgas, where 20-25 liters of rain per square meter are expected.
