According to reports, The Adventures of Superman's, Noel Neill, who portrayed Lois Lane has passed away. She was 95 years old. Neill was born in 1920. In her teens, she began modeling and her pin-up was reportedly second only to Betty Grable's in terms of popularity among American servicemen during World War II. She graduated from high school in 1938 -- the same year Superman first appeared in the comics. Neill has dozens of screen credits to her name, and has appeared in feature films, on television and on the stage -- but it was in 1948 that she found stardom as Lois Lane in the first film serial with actor Kirk Alyn. She would star opposite Alyn again in Atom Man vs. Superman, and then go on to join the cast of The Adventures of Superman when it headed to television in 1953. http://comi...

However, she was hired by Bing Crosby to sing at the Turf Club at the race track in Del Mar, California (Crosby was one of the owners). Shortly thereafter, in 1941, she was signed to a contract by Paramount Pictures.

I'm abstracting my home 'cause my socks feel alone
And my neighbours are drones
Am I worried at all? Watch the dots on my wall
That my agent called "soul"
And I'm painting the floor 'cause the ceiling's too
tall
And your cheque book too small
I'm an artist of note, Jackson Pollock of sorts
Perfect marvel of course
Purpose O purpose there's nothing we saw
Scratching the surface we go
Not yet decided if meaning should wait
Choice only choice always choice lonely choice
Madness O madness there's somewhere we know
Crossing the lines to and from
Not yet decided on reasons to praise
Choice only choice always choice lonely choice
I've instructed my dog "Bite the hand that feeds most",
But the lesson was lost
Am I worried or not? Dr Jekyll was caught steeling Mr
Hyde's front
So I'll write of behinds "the enigma of crim"
If you'll just pay in time
I'm an artist of note William Burroughs of sorts
Critics love-hate my pose
Purpose O....
Nothing at all - Brilliant piece of work
Nothing at all - Great just great
Nothing at all - Shocking Simply Shocking
