Follow Daisy, preparing this delicious ‘raw’ carrot cake, the perfect vegan cake recipe!
PREPARATION TIME: 20 min (plus freezing time).
COOKING TIME: None
SERVINGS: 12
PERFECT FOR: Satisfying a sweet vegan tooth!
ALLERGY INFORMATION: Dairy, Gluten, Lactose and Wheat Free
INGREDIENTS
Cake
300g peeled and grated carrots
125g pecan nuts
80g pitted dates
80g dried apricots
50g desiccated coconut
1tsp cinnamon
½tsp nutmeg
30g Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
Cream Frosting
200g cashews, soaked overnight or hot water for 2 hours
3 tbsp maple syrup
juice of 1 lemon about 30ml
zest of 1 lemon
75g melted Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
Method
1. Line 8×8 square tin or equivalent sized round tin.
Cake
2. Place pecans, dates, apricots, desiccated coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg and Lucy Bee Coconut Oil in food processor and blitz until almost smooth.
3. Add the grated carrots and blitz to mix all ingredients together.
Spread the mixture evenly in the tin, place in the fridge whilst preparing the top.
Topping
4. Drain cashew nuts.
5. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth this may take 5 minutes or more depending on power of your blender.
6. Spread over the cake mixture, use a fork for a rough finish.
7. Place in fridge for at least 2 hours.
Before serving sprinkle with cinnamon and decorate with pecans.
This cake will last in the fridge for a week, and seems to improve with age.

Manchester (/ˈmæntʃɪstər/) is a city and metropolitan borough in Greater Manchester, England, with a population of 514,417 as of 2013. It lies within the United Kingdom's second-most populous urban area, with a population of 2.55 million. Manchester is fringed by the Cheshire Plain to the south, the Pennines to the north and east and an arc of towns with which it forms a continuous conurbation. The local authority is Manchester City Council.
The recorded history of Manchester began with the civilian settlement associated with the Roman fort of Mamucium or Mancunium, which was established in about 79 AD on a sandstone bluff near the confluence of the rivers Medlock and Irwell. It was historically a part of Lancashire, although areas of Cheshire south of the River Mersey were incorporated during the 20th century. Throughout the Middle Ages Manchester remained a manorial township but began to expand "at an astonishing rate" around the turn of the 19th century. Manchester's unplanned urbanisation was brought on by a boom in textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution, and resulted in it becoming the world's first industrialised city.

80g dried apricots
50g desiccated coconut
1tsp cinnamon
½tsp nutmeg
30g Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
Cream Frosting
200g cashews, soaked overnight or hot water for 2 hours
3 tbsp maple syrup
juice of 1 lemon about 30ml
zest of 1 lemon
75g melted Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
Method
1. Line 8×8 square tin or equivalent sized round tin.
Cake
2. Place pecans, dates, apricots, desiccated coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg and Lucy Bee Coconut Oil in food processor and blitz until almost smooth.
3. Add the grated carrots and blitz to mix all ingredients together.
Spread the mixture evenly in the tin, place in the fridge whilst preparing the top.
Topping
4. Drain cashew nuts.
5. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth this may take 5 minutes or more depending on power of your blender.
6. Spread over the cake mixture, use a fork for a rough finish.
7. Place in fridge for at least 2 hours.
Before serving sprinkle with cinnamon and decorate with pecans.
This cake will last in the fridge for a week, and seems to improve with age.

PREPARATION TIME: 20 min (plus freezing time).

SERVINGS: 12
PERFECT FOR: Satisfying a sweet vegan tooth!
ALLERGY INFORMATION: Dairy, Gluten, Lactose and Wheat Free
INGREDIENTS
Cake
300g peeled and grated carrots
125g pecan nuts
80g pitted dates
80g dried apricots
50g desiccated coconut

Many of these treasures now reside in the Manchester Art Gallery and the Manchester Museum.
In 1653, the Chetham Library became the country’s first free public library and has been open to all ever since. Two hundred and fifty years later, one of the city’s greatest philanthropists, Enriqueta Rylands, unveiled the John Rylands Library, dedicated to the memory of her textile magnate husband.
Housed in a restored Edwardian pump house is The People’s History Museum, which celebrates those who challenged Britain’s rigid political and class systems. At the world’s oldest surviving railway station, you’ll find The Museum of Science and Industry, while the Imperial War Museum North reminds us of the human cost of warfare.
Explore the city’s musical heritage in the Northern Quarter, and check out Canal Street, which perfectly encapsulates the Mancunian ideals of tolerance and good times. Learn more about the city’s footballing history at the National Football Museum, or time your visit for a match at Old Trafford.

Gunung Prau :GUNUNG PRAU
Gunung Prau adalah gunung kecil yang menjadi tujuan paling favorit para pendaki di Indonesia khususnya pulau Jawa sejak 2014. Puncak gunung Prau ini diklaim memiliki tempat terbaik se-asia tenggara untuk melihat matahari terbit. Gunung Prau terletak di dataran tinggi Dieng, Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Sejak 2014 gunung Prau didatangi banyak sekali para pendaki yang ingin melihat langsung penampakkan sunrise dari gunung Prau tersebut.
SUNRISE PALING INDAH GUNUNG PRAU
Jalur pendakian Gunung Prau yang paling terkenal adalahh lewat jalur “Patak Banteng”. Karena gunung Prau dikenal dengan jalur pendakian yang pendek dan relatif mudah maka gunung Prau cocok sekali untuk dijadikan destinasi bagi para pendaki pemula. Kamu nggak akan menyesal jika mendaki gunung Prau. Pendakian rata-rata hanya membutuhkan 3-4 jam. Sepanjang trek perjalanan sampai kita akan berjumpa dengan pemandangan yang sangat indah dan tidak ada duanya. Kita bisa melihat pemandangan dataran tinggi Dieng dan Telaga Warna dari jauh. Kita juga akan berjumpa dengan perkebunan, hutan, padang bunga Daisy. Sampai puncak gunung Prau kita akan disambut oleh Bukit Teletubies dan jika pagi tiba kita akan dihadiahi “Golden Sunrise” gunung Prau. Golden sunrise gunung Prau inilah yang diklaim paling bagus se-asia tenggara. Dari situ kita bisa melihat pucuk banyak gunung di pulau Jawa seperti gunung Merapi, Merbabu, Sumbing, Sindoro, Slamet.
Gunung Prau memiliki ketinggian 2.565 mdpl. Ketinggian yang cukup-lah jika dibandingkan dengan gunung berapi namun jalur pendakiannya pendek dan waktu perjalanan juga singkat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan titik memulai pendakian kita sudah berada pada ketinggian 1.700 mdpl.
Dataran tinggi Dieng terkenal dengan suhu dingin yang menusuk tulang oleh sebab itu persiapkan segalanya terlebih dahulu sebelum berangkat menuju sana. Yang terpenting jaket yang hangat, dan perlengkapan lain tentunya. Untuk mendaki gunung Prau biasanya ada dua pilihan planningnya yakni sekali jalan atau bermalam di puncak. Sebagian pendaki memulai pendakian pada dini hari sekali sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB. Sampai puncak sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB. Kemudian menikmati sunrise di puncak dan kembali turun sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB. Sebagian lagi ada yang memulai pendakian pada siang hari sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB. Sampai puncak sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB. Mereka akan menikmati sunset gunung Prau kemudian mendirikan tenda di sana. Pagi hari mereka akan menikmati golden sunrise-nya gunung Prau. Dan siangnya turun. Nah, terserah kalian mau pilih mana.
Untuk transportasi yang terpenting tujulah daerah wisata Dieng. Jika masih bingung carilah di google maps atau gps dimana letak Dieng.

Gunung Prau memiliki ketinggian 2.565 mdpl. Ketinggian yang cukup-lah jika dibandingkan dengan gunung berapi namun jalur pendakiannya pendek dan waktu perjalanan juga singkat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan titik memulai pendakian kita sudah berada pada ketinggian 1.700 mdpl.
Dataran tinggi Dieng terkenal dengan suhu dingin yang menusuk tulang oleh sebab itu persiapkan segalanya terlebih dahulu sebelum berangkat menuju sana. Yang terpenting jaket yang hangat, dan perlengkapan lain tentunya. Untuk mendaki gunung Prau biasanya ada dua pilihan planningnya yakni sekali jalan atau bermalam di puncak. Sebagian pendaki memulai pendakian pada dini hari sekali sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB. Sampai puncak sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB. Kemudian menikmati sunrise di puncak dan kembali turun sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB. Sebagian lagi ada yang memulai pendakian pada siang hari sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB. Sampai puncak sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB. Mereka akan menikmati sunset gunung Prau kemudian mendirikan tenda di sana. Pagi hari mereka akan menikmati golden sunrise-nya gunung Prau. Dan siangnya turun. Nah, terserah kalian mau pilih mana.
Untuk transportasi yang terpenting tujulah daerah wisata Dieng. Jika masih bingung carilah di google maps atau gps dimana letak Dieng.
