The Telegraph re-visits the village of Moorland in Somerset as dredging is set to start in the area following catastrophic flooding. The floodwaters on the Somerset Levels have receded, leaving in their wake ruined farmland, dead animals, uprooted trees and anger at the failure in recent years to dredge local rivers. "It seems a bit surreal that the landscape was so crazy with the amount of water everywhere, and now it's all gone. It almost feels like it hasn't happened but it's still a big nightmare," Moorland resident Phil Churches told The Telegraph. "I think people are still very cross that the rivers have not been dredged for 20 years." he added. The photographer who captured these aerial images was taking time off to prepare for an official CAA drone examination. Blood vessels have been destroyed or heavily damaged and the flesh was turned into a liquid wherever the brown recluse spider venom has spread. As you watch the video and listen to what I'm saying you will also hear a song in the background. That's me playing the guitar and singing a song which I have composed very quickly to go with the video. The song is called Brown Recluse Spider Bite Blues. I mixed the audio of my speaking with that of the song so that you cash listen to both of them or to focus just on one of them, either on what I'm saying or what I'm singing. The pas in in my foot never stops. It's there day and night. Some days and nights are better than others but for more than a month the pain has been worse then the month before. The increased pain started about a week before I decided to go for a naturopathic treatment. I had to do that because the conventional western medicine was unable to help at all. I started with the naturopathic treatment on December 06. 2013 three months and three days after the spider bite. There seems to be some healing taking place since the naturopathic treatment started but it is not as fast acting as I was hoping for. The pain has not gone down but rather up. The hope is that the pain is associated with the healing process. I will make another video 5 months after the spider bite. There should be as more noticeable improvement by then.
