I have seen many videos on youtube about the Greek Alphabet and everyone's question was
What is the right pronunciation of the letters? First of all I'd like to tell you, that pronunciation doesn't really matters.
I mean it's not so important if you say "beta" or "βήτα"
Or if you say "Gama" or "γαμα" because when you put the letters in order to make a word, they will sound just fine. What they did, was that they replaced the ancient Greek letters with English characters. For example the letter "Y" ύψιλον was written "ὒ ψιλόν". So they replaced the first "υ" with "u" because it was looking pretty much the same and they haven't thought of the pronunciation which is a little bit different.
In this video you see the CORRECT pronunciation of the letters.
Wherever you hear the letter G, replace it with W
its closer to Greek pronunciation
For example if you take the word «Γαμάω» which means "I f**k" you would probably pronounce it like "ga-ma-o". But if you replace "G" with "W" it sounds like "wa-ma-o" which is closer to the Greek pronunciation.
By the way, the word "γαμάω" its not actually a bad word. It comes from the ancient Greek word «γαμέω» which means "I get married", but in modern Greek it is used as a swear.

In the year 2057, Collette, a former mafia queen commits suicide after battling with the demons from her past, leaving behind the legacy of an organized crime ring. She leaves behind a letter for her granddaughter, Red, explaining the reason for this act and gives detailed information about the crime ring she started with her friends in the year 2013. In her youth, Collette and her fraternal twin sister, Beth, are torn by their divided loyalties — Collette remains loyal to their mother, while Beth stands by their father Taurus, a Jamaican drug smuggler known as Fada Plenty. Plenty takes in a young girl, Katherine (Kat), when the twins are teenagers. All three girls assist him in selling drugs up until their college years.
Collette and Beth join a sorority called Alpha Sigma Psi and while pledging, they meet two girls: a young naïve pastor’s wife, Renee, a.k.a. Churchie, and a promiscuous college escort Nicole, a.k.a. Nikki Nasty. Kat doesn’t attend any university, but she works very closely with Fada Plenty and enjoys bantering with Nikki—the two have history together. While going through arguments, illness, mayhem and murder, together these five women establish The Rose Order. Forty-four years later, Red is coping with the loss of her grandmother, and dealing with threats from a futuristic version of her grandmother’s crime ring. While learning about her grandmother’s past, Red wonders if she’s watching The Rose Order fall apart, or if she’s a part of its twisted evolution.

Case Western Reserve University (also known as Case Western Reserve, Case Western, Case, and CWRU) is a private research university in Cleveland, Ohio. The university was created in 1967 by the federation of Case Institute of Technology (founded in 1881 by Leonard Case Jr.) and Western Reserve University (founded in 1826 in the area that was once the Connecticut Western Reserve). [Sprite Step Off] will break the mold of traditional step competitions by creating an unprecedented charitable platform that focuses on scholarship, education and community service. What is the right pronunciation of the letters? First of all I'd like to tell you, that pronunciation doesn't really matters.
I mean it's not so important if you say "beta" or "βήτα"
Or if you say "Gama" or "γαμα" because when you put the letters in order to make a word, they will sound just fine. What they did, was that they replaced the ancient Greek letters with English characters. For example the letter "Y" ύψιλον was written "ὒ ψιλόν". So they replaced the first "υ" with "u" because it was looking pretty much the same and they haven't thought of the pronunciation which is a little bit different.
In this video you see the CORRECT pronunciation of the letters.
Wherever you hear the letter G, replace it with W
its closer to Greek pronunciation
For example if you take the word «Γαμάω» which means "I f**k" you would probably pronounce it like "ga-ma-o". But if you replace "G" with "W" it sounds like "wa-ma-o" which is closer to the Greek pronunciation.
By the way, the word "γαμάω" its not actually a bad word. It comes from the ancient Greek word «γαμέω» which means "I get married", but in modern Greek it is used as a swear.

The "Sprite Step Off" tournament kicks off in September 2009 and is open to all undergraduate fraternity and sorority step teams. Sprite Step Off qualifying rounds begin in September, followed by regional semi-finals and regional finals in October and November. The national finals will be held in January 2010 in Atlanta, Black Greek Network’s back yard. The events will also feature a variety of national and local recording artists, renowned marching bands, and celebrity DJs.

Otis Collier, Executive Director of Black Greek Network, thanks the "Sprite Step Off" team for their commitment to the Black Greek Lettered Organizations.
Sprite announced that the nine organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council have partnered with {Sprite Step Off} to launch the most dynamic multicultural youth event of 2009. (Sprite Step Off) is the largest college Greek stepping competition ever, featuring 30 events in more than 20 cities, with the largest combined stepping prize pool in history with $1.5 million in scholarships up for grabs.
[Sprite Step Off] will break the mold of traditional step competitions by creating an unprecedented charitable platform that focuses on scholarship, education and community service. The Sprite Step Off service platform will be supported by participating teams and underscores community service, which has been a core element of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s nine organizations since their founding.

Lettieri - secondo la ricostruzione fatta dalla questura - ? stato raggiunto da sputi, spintoni e invettive tanto da essere stato costretto a rifugiarsi all'interno della basilica di San Lorenzo. A nulla sono valsi i tentativi di Lettieri di ricondurre alla ragione i suoi contestatori tanto che alcuni agenti della polizia, presenti in piazza San Gaetano lo hanno convinto a desistere. Precedentemente, erano state spinte e accerchiate alcune ragazze le quali conducevano biciclette elettriche che trainavano i manifesti elettorali del candidato. Momenti di concitazione si sono registrati anche davanti la sede del Pdl a piazza Bovio. Tutto era iniziato in mattinata, con una rissa tra universitari di opposte fazioni politiche si ? scatenata stamane all'interno della facolt? di Lettere dell'universit? Federico II, in via Porta di Massa a Napoli. Il bilancio degli scontri ? di quattro feriti, dei quali non si conoscono ancora le condizioni. Opposte le versioni dell'accaduto fornite dai due gruppi venuti in contatto, ossia i giovani dei collettivi studenteschi di sinistra e quelli appartenenti a Casapound Italia. I collettivi di sinistra denunciano di essere stati aggrediti da un gruppo di giovani di estrema destra tra i quali anche uno armato di coltello; il segretario provinciale del Psi napoletano, Salvatore Arnese, sostiene che del gruppo facesse parte anche un candidato del centrodestra alla municipalit?. I militanti di Casapound parlano invece di ?aggressione da parte degli antifascisti?, e denunciano gravi ferite alla testa inferte a uno di loro da una quindicina di universitari dell'altra fazione ?armati con manici di piccone?. Le due versioni e l'esatta ricostruzione dell'accaduto sono ora al vaglio della polizia. Brother Seko Varner, formerly of the Imani Foundation of Hamton Roads Virginia speaks to students at Norfolk State University in 1997 about his research on the African Origins of Frats & Sorors. This event was sponsored by the men of Alpha Phi Alpha from Norfolk State University. This is a speech originally developed for Seko's fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, in 1994 for an Achievement Week Lecture explained Brother Seko.
Seko Varner was contacted prior to the internet posting of this video on 11/12/2011 obtaining his reluctant permission. Seko wishes to emphasize that this lecture was done in the "youth of (his) consciousness."; While he would present the same information today if asked, (he) "would change language to better reflect the times and current enviroment of our great country America. There are some things that will be taken out of context when viewed through the lens of the ultra-politically correct and overly sensitive paradigm of our so-called 'Post Racial" America." Seko further emphasized that while many of his "Conscious" and "Christian" peers have gone to reject affiliations with their Greek Lettered Organizations, he has chosen to remain active in Conscious, Christian, and Greek Lettered organizations - much to the dismissal of many of his former peers. "It's a bit sad to have backs turned upon you, but as my Calling-Incarnation Objective-Placement, whatever one wants to call it becomes clearer to me. I know I am going to have my people disown me. The goal, My Goal is Improvement. Black Improvement, American Improvement, World Improvement, Self Improvement........ not amassing a group of peers." Seko also admitted that this was one of his worst lectures and he wishes he could do it over to better provide correct information and clarity. Seko is now involved in the promotion of a concept he calls "Black Improvement" which he considers an extension of the fight against White Supremacy and Black Inferiority.
