Johns River may refer to:
The St. Johns River (Spanish: Río de San Juan) is the longest river in the U.S. state of Florida and its most significant for commercial and recreational use. At 310 miles (500 km) long, it winds through or borders twelve counties, three of which are the state's largest. The drop in elevation from headwaters to mouth is less than 30 feet (9 m); like most Florida waterways, the St. Johns has a very low flow rate 0.3 mph (0.13 m/s) and is often described as "lazy". It is believed to be one of the few rivers that flow north, although there are hundreds of the kind worldwide. Numerous lakes are formed by the river or flow into it, but as a river its widest point is nearly 3 miles (5 km) across. The narrowest point is in the headwaters, an unnavigable marsh in Indian River County. In all, 3.5 million people live within the various watersheds that feed into the St. Johns River.
The St. Johns drainage basin of 8,840 square miles (22,900 km2) includes some of Florida's major wetlands. It is separated into three major basins and two associated watersheds for Lake George and the Ocklawaha River, all managed by the St. Johns River Water Management District.
Saint John's may refer to:
John's River is a small river that snakes its way through Waterford city before joining the River Suir at Adelphi Quay, Ireland.
The river rises in the extensive marsh land stretching from the southern extremities of the city towards Tramore. It is first discernible in the environs of the Pitch & Putt course on the Tramore Road, between the course and the Regional Sports Centre. Another large stream passes between the course and Ursuline court, along which stretch is a pedestrian walkway. This stream joins the main river in the apex between the Inner Ring Road and the Tramore Road, behind the Westgate Retail Park. Before reaching this point, the main river weaves its way through the commercial area between the Inner Ring, Tramore and Cork roads.
From the confluence of the main streams, the river passes, largely unseen, for a stretch behind the Tramore Road Business Park until it is fed by another stream at the Gaelic Park. From here it begins to snake, first under Bath St. in Poleberry, past the Bohemians club sports ground, and under a bridge in the vicinity of Tesco's Supermarket. It then runs the length of the Railway Square complex, with Millar's Marsh to the right, before turning and moving under John's Bridge, and on to the Waterside. By this point the river has become considerable, and requires non-trivial bridging. It is also tidal from at least this point.
Astor is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, Florida, United States. It is located on the west side of the St. Johns River between Lake George and Lake Dexter. The community straddles State Road 40, with the community of Volusia in Volusia County across the St. Johns to the east and Astor Park to the west. The population was 1,487 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Astor is located at 29°10′N 81°32′W / 29.167°N 81.533°W / 29.167; -81.533 (29.1639, -81.5346).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2), all of it land (this measurement seems to exclude Astor's network of canals, which extends over 4 miles (6.4 km) in length, providing river access for many of its residents.) Astor lies entirely within the boundaries of the Ocala National Forest.
Astor is primarily accessible by land via State Road 40, which is the main highway through the community. State Road 40 bisects the Ocala National Forest, approaching Astor from the west and continuing east over the Astor Bridge across the St. Johns River to Volusia, in Volusia County.

The last of the spring break fishing roadtrip videos.
Spent a great day on St. Johns River out of the Town of Astor. Used the ramp at Paramores Camp Ground, then headed North to Lake George. Ran around the trails on the East side then across to Juniper Springs creek.
After seeing HUGE alligator, Dad & I had THIS sweet visitor !!!
Wooden Boats on the St. Johns River in Astor, Florida. I taped these boats at the Jungle Den one morning heading out on a fishing trip.
Not exactly an old bridge, but this is the Astor Bridge over the St. John's River. Built in 1980, this bridge replaced a covered swing bridge (!), which was probably the last of its type in the state.
Just our cheesy camera footage of a fun family night watching the Astor Boat Parade from the top of the bridge on the St. Johns River and a couple shots from Jungle Den. Yes, we parked at "The Tree" and went to Jungle Den after they left the bridge. The boaters 'played around' on the water (Showing off Their Creations) for a little while in front of Jungle Den area while the large blue sailboat went by. I wish I had a better camera to shoot it, but it is what it is and the kids had fun (and that was the point). They've come a long way from 5 boats! Sorry for the blur, that's all I had for recording at the time.
