The Hayden Pass fire grew by another thousand acres overnight. Officials reported Friday morning the fire, about 40 miles southwest of Cañon City near Coaldale in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, had spread to 15,754 acres. The burn area was estimated at 14,788 acres Thursday evening and 12,193 acres Monday. Most of the growth occurred near Mosher Creek, according to information posted on the Incident Information System website ... ....
