American Gothic is an American horror series created by Shaun Cassidy and executive producer Sam Raimi. The show first aired on CBS on September 22, 1995, and was cancelled after a single season on July 11, 1996. The story takes place in the fictional town of Trinity, South Carolina, and revolves around Caleb Temple (Lucas Black) and the town's corrupt sheriff, Lucas Buck (Gary Cole). Though appearing affable and charismatic, Sheriff Buck is a murderous rapist whose power base is backed by apparent supernatural powers, which he generally uses to manipulate people to "fulfil their potential" and make life-changing choices (usually for evil).
Caleb Temple is a normal child whose paternity masks a horrific secret: Lucas Buck is his biological father, having raped his mother in front of Caleb's older sister Merlyn (Sarah Paulson). The horror of watching her mother being sexually assaulted caused Merlyn to become severely emotionally traumatized and withdrawn from the rest of the world, made even worse when her mother committed suicide after giving birth to Caleb.
During the pilot episode of the series American Gothic, Sheriff Buck murders Merlyn in cold blood and manipulates Caleb's "father" (Sonny Shroyer) into committing suicide in order to eliminate Caleb's family and claim his biological son for his own. However, the newly arrived Dr. Crower (Jake Weber) begins to uncover the sheriff's role in the death of Merlyn and Merlyn's father and with help from Caleb's out-of-town cousin Gail Emory (Paige Turco), struggle to prevent Lucas from corrupting young Caleb. They are aided in part by Merlyn's ghost, who personally appears before Caleb throughout the series in order to try to keep him from Buck's corrupt grasp.

On May 30th 2007, John Schneider did a signing session at Cooter's in Nashville. After that he did the same at the Opry Mills Cinema before a viewing of his movie "Collier & Co.". The next day the almost complete cast of the Dukes of Hazzard signed fans cars at the parking lot behind Cooter's Place. That night John Schneider, Ben Jones, Rick Hurst, Sonny Shroyer, James Best and Catherine Bach took the stage at Nashville Palace. It was the night before Dukesfest 2007.

The Dukes Of Hazzard LOST EPISODE - 'SMILE: You're On Hazzard Camera'
The definitive ‘lost’ Dukes of Hazzard Episode… not a Dukes Of Hazzard Parody, but a true TRIBUTE! We love the Dukes of Hazzard! Even Coy and Vance!
*SPOILERS*...
The definitive ‘lost’ Dukes of Hazzard Episode… not a Dukes Of Hazzard Parody, but a true TRIBUTE! We love the Dukes of Hazzard! Even Coy and Vance!
*SPOILERS*
Boss Hogg gives Sheriff Rosco and Deputy Enos a camera, a fake ‘Photo Radar’ to take pictures of cars driving by and then to ‘fill in the speeds later’.
Bo and Luke get entangled when they are photographed while taking Ms. Tisdale to the hospital only doing 35 MPH, but are clocked at 110 MPH!!
In true Dukes of Hazzard fashion, it takes the whole gang, Bo, Luke, & Daisy Duke, and faithful friend Cooter to unravel the schemes of Sherriff Rosco P. Coletrane and Deputy Enos Strate, in their plight for innocence.

MUSIC
Classic Series bits
Original country music
from YWAM Cowboy Drama:
Blake Simpson
EDITING
Filmed entirely on VHS,
And edited using multiple VCR’s
with audio wired in from a
walkman and cassette decks…
A complete amateur mess, but
somehow it worked.
This is all original and contains
NO series footage
I forgot the name of
the kid who said
“Good Morning, Enos”
Sorry!
COSTUMES
If you look close, you will
see the shoulder straps and pockets
on the police uniforms are
painted on!
John Schneider would call this
“Movie Magic!”
The Luke Duke shirt can also be
seen in the country music video
‘John Roland Wood’ which is
also a Dukes Parody.
Richard also drives the
General Lee in the that
Video as well.
Sometimes the General Lee
Is a ’68, ’69 and even ‘70
Model!
Richard had a ’68 & ’69,
Graham had a ’69 & ‘70
The Patrol Cars have different
Graphics almost every scene.
It was only after all this that
Graham Watts & Richard Cummins
Went to real Stunt Driving
School…
We’re better drivers now.
John Schneider, Ben Jones,
Sonny Shroyer, Rick Hurst
Tom Sarmento & Rich Sephton*
Have all seen this.
…yes, we are all embarrassed.
*In loving memory of a great
Friend and original WB
General Lee builder,
Rich Sephton.
We Miss You!
Tim Watts is playing 2 roles:
Luke and Enos!
When Enos is ‘blinded’
By the flash of the camera,
That is our Cooter, Kevin,
In the Luke shirt and wig
To the right.
This was made 100 years ago in 2001
It was a labor of love by a
Bunch of ‘kids’ who loved
The Dukes of Hazzard
Not Seen:
Daisy’s Jeep
We actually had it!
Richard & Michele’s Patrol car
And Daisy Jeep both currently
Reside in Ben Jones official
Dukes Museums.
Richard’s General Lee
Was jumped on ‘SMALLVILLE’
And then went to the VOLO auto
Museum in Illinois.
This was filmed all around
where they filmed ‘SMALLVILLE’
for 10 seasons.
‘Photo Radar’ was actually used
In Canada for years until it was
Outlawed and deemed
‘entrapment’
FUN FACT:
Graham and Tim Watts are
TWINS.
We probably could have
Found a much better Luke
Wig…
Sorry, Tim!
Michele pulls off a dang near
Perfect 180 in the General
At the end…
Puttin’ us to shame.
Gy Waldron, thank you! We loved this show growing up!!
Hvae you seen the Star Trek remakes with New Voyages and Phase 2? We are doing a similar thing, yet not so technically advanced. Can't believe this was 15 years ago recorded on VHS! :)
