Susan Sto Helit
Susan Sto Helit (also spelled Sto-Helit), once referred to as Susan Death, is a fictional character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of fantasy novels. She is the "granddaughter" of Death, the Disc's Grim Reaper, and, as such, has "inherited" a number of his abilities. She has appeared in three Discworld novels to date: Soul Music, Hogfather, and Thief of Time. She is also referred to (though not by name) at the end of Mort, when her father invites Death to her christening. She is one of the Discworld series' principal protagonists. Being both human and supernatural, Susan is frequently (and reluctantly) forced away from her "normal" life to do battle with various malign supernatural forces or, barring that, to take on her grandfather's job in his absence. Death tends to employ her in his battles against the Auditors of Reality, particularly in situations where he has no power or influence. As the series progresses, she also begins to take on roles educating children, so that, as Pratchett mentions in The Art of Discworld, she has "ended up, via that unconscious evolution that dogs characters, a kind of Goth Mary Poppins".

Davy (crater)
Davy is a small lunar crater that is located on the eastern edge of the Mare Nubium. It overlies the lava-flooded remains of the satellite crater Davy Y to the east, a formation which contains a crater chain designated Catena Davy. To the southeast of Davy is the prominent crater Alphonsus.
The outer rim of Davy is low, and the interior has been partly resurfaced. The perimeter is somewhat polygonal in shape, especially in the western half, and the southeast rim has been overlain by Davy A. The latter is bowl-shaped with a notch in the northern rim. The interior of Davy lacks a central peak, although there are some low central mounds and the rim of Davy Y forms a low ridge leading from the northern outer rim.
Catena Davy
This linear string of 23 tiny craters runs from the midpoint of Davy Y towards the walled basin Ptolemaeus, following a slightly curving course to the east-northeast. It is located at selenographic coordinates 11.0° S, 7.0° W, and has a diameter of 50 km.
This formation is not believed to be due to secondary cratering because it is not radial to a suitable source crater. The most likely cause is believed to be due to a single body that broke apart prior to impact due to tidal effects. High resolution images have demonstrated that the craters formed at about the same time since the ejecta from each crater does not overlay neighboring craters. However, there are still some scientists who believe that this chain of craters may be volcanic in origin.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi (later known as Ben Kenobi) is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, played by Sir Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor. In the original trilogy, he is a mentor to the protagonist Luke Skywalker to whom he teaches the ways of the Jedi. In the prequel trilogy, he is a master and friend to Anakin Skywalker. In the sequel trilogy, he appears to Rey as a voice in a dream-like-flashback in Maz Kanata's castle. He is frequently featured as a main character in various other Star Wars media.
Lucas borrowed liberally from the films of Akira Kurosawa. Kenob is the name, incidentally, of the son of Tokuemon's mistress in Yojimbo.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is introduced in Star Wars living as the hermit "Ben Kenobi" on the planet Tatooine. When Luke Skywalker and the droid C-3PO wander off in search of the lost droid R2-D2, Ben rescues them from a band of native Tusken Raiders. At his home, R2-D2 plays Ben a recording of Princess Leia Organa which explains that R2-D2 has the battle plans for a super weapon of the evil Galactic Empire within the robot. Leia asks Ben to deliver the droid and the plans safely to the planet Alderaan.

Obi (martial arts)
Many Japanese martial arts feature an obi as part of their exercise outfit. These obis are often made of thick cotton and are about 5 cm wide. The martial arts obis are most often worn in the koma-musubi knot (square knot); in practice where hakama is worn, the obi is tied in other ways.
In many martial arts the colour of the obi signifies the wearer's skill level. Usually the colours start from the beginner's white and end in the master's black, or red and white.
Aikido
Unlike in many other martial arts, adult practitioners of aikido do not wear coloured obis, though in some schools different colour codes have been formed, especially for children. The children's obis range from white for beginner level to 5th kyū, other colours for the rest of the kyū levels, and black for levels 1st dan and up.
In some aikido schools, wearing a hakama is a privilege earned by reaching the first dan level. In other schools, all practitioners may wear a hakama. After taking up using a hakama, the colour of obi does not matter since it will be covered by the hakama.

A constant non-stop series of nuclear fusion explosions are happening 147 million km from earth. We like to call it our sun. I was trying a different exposure setting when taking this recording of a timelapse sunrise and it all went horribly wrong. I was about to throw the footage out and then came up with this idea. But not many people know that he also wrote poetry throughout his life.
In this video Dr Peter Wothers, chemist and self confessed Davy fan, will recreate one of the experiments Humphry Davy used in his own farewell lecture at the Royal Institution in 1812. According to Faraday's notes of the lecture, a volcano was built out of clay and gravel and pieces of the highly reactive metal potassium were placed into the crater and the fissures at the sides. Davy then poured water into the fissures. Water reacts with potassium, producing potassium hydroxide and the highly flammable hydrogen gas. While we now know that this is not the mechanism behind volcanic eruptions as Davy suggested, the experiment is still a spectacular demonstration of a natural phenomenon, and at the time, cemented Davy's status are one of the most engaging lecturers or his era.

Susan's life has always been a journey of ups and downs, filled with struggles and heartache. After years of trying to please her husband and mother-in-law, she found herself in a situation that felt like a nightmare. When Reza presented the footage to the landlord, Susan hoped he would make a decision that would protect her and her children. Instead, the landlord, overwhelmed by this shocking revelation, made a decision that shocked Susan. In a moment of poor judgment, he decided to evict Susan and her daughters, believing that it was the only way out of the chaos that surrounded the situation. As the rain poured down, Susan found herself standing outside with her young children, soaking wet and shivering. The weight of her circumstances weighed on her, and she felt the sting of betrayal from those she had once trusted. With nowhere to go and nowhere to return, Susan ached for her daughters, who looked up at her with innocent eyes, seeking comfort and reassurance. In that moment, Susan knew she had to fight for her family. She vowed to find a way to rebuild their lives and create a safe and loving environment for her daughters, no matter what the obstacles ahead. I was trying a different exposure setting when taking this recording of a timelapse sunrise and it all went horribly wrong. I was about to throw the footage out and then came up with this idea.

Humphry Davy is one of the best know men of science of the nineteenth century. He isolated nine different chemical elements, was the first person to inhale nitrous oxide and invented the miner's safety lamp known as the Davy lamp. But not many people know that he also wrote poetry throughout his life.
In this video Dr Peter Wothers, chemist and self confessed Davy fan, will recreate one of the experiments Humphry Davy used in his own farewell lecture at the Royal Institution in 1812. According to Faraday's notes of the lecture, a volcano was built out of clay and gravel and pieces of the highly reactive metal potassium were placed into the crater and the fissures at the sides. Davy then poured water into the fissures. Water reacts with potassium, producing potassium hydroxide and the highly flammable hydrogen gas. While we now know that this is not the mechanism behind volcanic eruptions as Davy suggested, the experiment is still a spectacular demonstration of a natural phenomenon, and at the time, cemented Davy's status are one of the most engaging lecturers or his era.

Wahoo blast the test conditions were met on May 16 1958 allowing for the nuclear device to be detonated. Within a second of detonation, a spray dome was created that reached a height of 840 feet (260 m) after seven seconds. The overall shape of the spray dome resembled a cone with 45 degree sloped sides. Plumes were seen breaking through the spray dome after six seconds in every direction. The vertical plume continued rising until 12 seconds after the blast while the lateral plumes traveled for 20 seconds before collapsing. The diameter of the spray dome was approximately 3,800 feet (1,200 m) at the 20 second mark.[4](p237) The base surge reached a radius of 8,000 feet (2,400 m) in the downwind direction after 1.7 seconds. The downwind surge aided by a 15 knots (17 mph; 28 km/h) wind reached speeds of 21 knots (24 mph; 39 km/h). This base surge could be seen for three and a half minutes and for longer from the air as it continued to move across the ocean. When the spray dome and base surge had dissipated, a foam patch could be seen spreading from the surface zero water to reach over 6,000 feet (1,800 m).[4](p238) The nuclear blast was calculated to be 9 kilotons of TNT (38 TJ). All fallout stayed within the predicted fallout area with a maximum of 0.030 R/hr. The target ship at 5,900 yards (2.9 nmi; 3.4 mi; 5.4 km) was directly hit by the shockwave, vibrating the entire ship and shaking it violently. The Moran merchant marine ship moored at 2,346 feet (715 m) away was immobilized due to shock damage to its main and auxiliary equipment while also suffering minor hull damage. One hour and ten minutes after detonation, a five-gallon water sample was taken directly above the blast location showing 5 R/hr. The retrieval team entered a 3.8 R/hrfield after an hour and thirty five minutes.
