Stop for a Minute may refer to:
"Stop for a Minute" is a pop song by German singer Sandra. It was released in January 1988 from her first compilation album Ten on One (1987). "Stop for a Minute" was used in a German TV criminal show of the "Tatort" series, called "Salu Palu". It was set in Saarbrücken, Sandra's hometown, where she had a stage appearance in a club scene. It was the only appearance of Sandra in that film, and not in any acting role. The scenes in the original video clip "Stop for a Minute" are much the same as what could be seen of her in the movie.

"Stop for a Minute" is the only single from Keane's 2010 EP, and fourth record,Night Train. The song marks Keane's collaboration with Somali-Canadian rapper, K'naan. The single was released on 5 April 2010 in the United Kingdom and on 11 April 2010 in the United States. The song is featured on the soundtrack to the videogames, PES 2011 and Grand Theft Auto V.
The video begins with shots of a London streetscape (looks to be in the Aldgate or Whitechapel area of London), before entering an upscale pub. Keane frontman Tom Chaplin and K'naan are shown singing in the bar while surrounded by patrons enjoying their night, a contrast to some of the song's lyrics.
The song debuted at number forty on the UK Singles Charts, making their tenth top-forty hit and their highest chart single since Spiralling.
I will try
I will try not to lose my own
If you cry rhat secret down.
Open up your eyes again
even you can try
Don't you think you toil in vain
What have you come to be
to be now?
Stop for a minute
you better change your heart in time
Stop for a minute
you can believe that part of mine.
I'll be protecting you from what you run into
If you will hold on
srop for a minute.
I rely
I rely on my chance to know
you and I could feel as one!
Open up and start again
take a look around
Don't you see what I have meant
What have you come to be
to be now?
Stop for a minute
you better change your heart in time
. . .
And what is left to you
where are you goin' to?
That sorrow in your life
what did you come to be
come to be now?
Stop for a minute
you better change your heart in time
. . .
Stop for a minute
for a minute
stop for a minute
Stop for a minute
stop for a minute
