2013 Centennial Park in
Sydney celebrates it's 125th anniversary. Opened in
1888 it is a park in the grand tradition of
English parks and gardens Centennial Park has a history as long as
Australia itself. From swamp and water supply reservoir to grazing land and the scene of
Australia's Federation celebrations; today it is used by millions of walkers, joggers, dogs, cyclists, horse riders and picnicers every year and yet the
360 hectares seems to accommodate them all as well as providing an oasis of
