Navin Nischol (11 April 1946 – 19 March 2011) was an Indian actor. He made his debut with the Hindi film Sawan Bhadon in 1970.
He was the first gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of India to make it big.
One of his most successful serials on television was Dekh Bhai Dekh, co-starring Sushma Seth, Shekhar Suman and Farida Jalal.
Nischol died of a heart attack on 19 March 2011 en route from Mumbai to Pune. He was 65 years old.

Rekha and Navin Nischol Love Making Scene
Aastha: In the Prison of Spring is a 1997 Bollywood film, produced and directed by Basu Bhattacharya. The film stars Rekha, Om Puri, Navin Nischol and Daisy Irani in the main roles. The film went on to receive both critical as well as commercial success, especially as the latter had eluded Basu in his last few films. Subsequently, tasting its success Basu was even planning to remake the film in English, though he died in June 1997, at the age 62. Its success was described as blurring to the gap between Indian art and commercial cinema, where art film makers dealing with serious issues, used a musical format to make the film more commercially appealing, reaching a wider audience.Rekha received a nomination of 1997 Star Screen Award for Best Actress.
Plot Summary:-
Mansi (Rekha) and Amar (Om Puri) have been married for years, and have a daughter by this marriage. Amar is employed full-time, while Mansi looks after the household chores and their daughter. Amar earns a steady income, which enables the family to live comfortably, but they cannot afford to be extravagant at all. One day while buying shoes for her daughter, Mansi realizes that shoes are really expensive, and wants to leave the store without purchasing them. Another woman customer named Reena (Daisy Irani) offers to pay for the shoes, as she feels sorry for Mansi. Mansi reluctantly accepts Reena's offer to pay for the shoes, not realizing that Reena has paid for these shoes with a secret agenda that will open a new door in Mansi's life dragging her to prostitution to satisfy materialistic needs.

Navin first marriage to Dev Anand's niece, Neelu Kapur, sister of Shekhar Kapur.Navin married divorcée Geetanjali. On 24 April 2006, Geetanjali hanged herself at her residence. She blamed Navin and his brother Pravin for her suicide.Nischol died of a heart attack on 19 March 2011 en route from Mumbai to Pune. He was 65 years old.

The film begins with Mahendru,a widowed police officer and his young daughter, Chanda. Chanda's best friend is Rekha, the daughter of a prostitute. Rekha stays over at Chanda's house, when Rekha's mother accidentally kills someone in an effort to stop her pimp from carrying off Rekha into prostitution as well. She is sent to prison, and begs Mahendru not to reveal to Rekha anything about her life as a working girl. Mahendru promises to protect and raise the child as his own daughter. The pimp, Jeevan, attempts to kidnap Rekha but his goons mistakenly kidnap Chanda. When he realizes the error he decides to make the best of a bad situation by asking Mahendru for a large ransom. Mahendru borrows the ransom money from a friend, but the pimp deceives him and delivers the girl to a madam.Many years later, we find cab driver Somesh driving Chanda to her clients. Somesh is the ne'er-do-well scion of a rich family, who has a falling out with his father as he refuses to marry Rekha, the Police Officer's daughter. He leaves his wealthy home & life-style to become a cab-driver. Chanda and Somesh fall in love. Chanda eventually realizes that she really is Mahendru's daughter.This leads her to assume the daughter's duty by trying to convince Somesh to marry Rekha, her sister. She does this by turning alcoholic, in an effort to prove her essential wanton-ness to Somesh - who does not understand her intention and refuses to live his life according to her ideals of filial responsibility. Later, the pimp kidnaps Chanda again and informs Mahendru that his daughter is under his captivity and tries to blackmail him for release of Chanda. However, Mahendru refuses to give-in and attacks Jivan's camp with police force. Chanda dies in this rescue operation. Before dying in her father Mahendru's arms, Chanda asks Somesh to marry Rekha, and he does.

Rajesh Khanna (
pronunciation born Jatin Khanna; 29 December 1942 – 18 July 2012) was a Bollywood actor, film producer and politician. He is referred to as the "first superstar" and the "original superstar" of Indian cinema. He starred in 15 consecutive solo hit films in the period 1969 to 1971.
He made his debut in 1966 with Aakhri Khat. Through his career he appeared in more than 160 feature films and 17 short films. He received the Filmfare Best Actor Award award three times and the BFJA Awards for Best Actor (Hindi) four times. In 1991, he was awarded the Filmfare Special Award and in 2005, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. He was the highest paid Indian actor from 1970 to 1987 where Amitabh Bachchan shared the same tag with Khanna from 1980 to 1987.
He was also a Lok Sabha member of the Indian National Congress from New Delhi constituency from 1992 to 1996.
He married Dimple Kapadia in March 1973, eight months before her debut film Bobby was released and had two daughters from the marriage. Their elder daughter Twinkle Khanna is married to actor Akshay Kumar, while they also have a younger daughter Rinke Khanna.

Chanda's best friend is Rekha, the daughter of a prostitute. Rekha stays over at Chanda's house, when Rekha's mother accidentally kills someone in an effort to stop her pimp from carrying off Rekha into prostitution as well. She is sent to prison, and begs Mahendru not to reveal to Rekha anything about her life as a working girl. Mahendru promises to protect and raise the child as his own daughter. The pimp, Jeevan, attempts to kidnap Rekha but his goons mistakenly kidnap Chanda. When he realizes the error he decides to make the best of a bad situation by asking Mahendru for a large ransom. Mahendru borrows the ransom money from a friend, but the pimp deceives him and delivers the girl to a madam.Many years later, we find cab driver Somesh driving Chanda to her clients. Somesh is the ne'er-do-well scion of a rich family, who has a falling out with his father as he refuses to marry Rekha, the Police Officer's daughter. He leaves his wealthy home & life-style to become a cab-driver. Chanda and Somesh fall in love. Chanda eventually realizes that she really is Mahendru's daughter.This leads her to assume the daughter's duty by trying to convince Somesh to marry Rekha, her sister. She does this by turning alcoholic, in an effort to prove her essential wanton-ness to Somesh - who does not understand her intention and refuses to live his life according to her ideals of filial responsibility. Later, the pimp kidnaps Chanda again and informs Mahendru that his daughter is under his captivity and tries to blackmail him for release of Chanda. However, Mahendru refuses to give-in and attacks Jivan's camp with police force. Chanda dies in this rescue operation. Before dying in her father Mahendru's arms, Chanda asks Somesh to marry Rekha, and he does. -

Plot Summary:-

Aastha: In the Prison of Spring is a 1997 Bollywood film, produced and directed by Basu Bhattacharya. The film stars Rekha, Om Puri, Navin Nischol and Daisy Irani in the main roles. The film went on to receive both critical as well as commercial success, especially as the latter had eluded Basu in his last few films. Subsequently, tasting its success Basu was even planning to remake the film in English, though he died in June 1997, at the age 62. Its success was described as blurring to the gap between Indian art and commercial cinema, where art film makers dealing with serious issues, used a musical format to make the film more commercially appealing, reaching a wider audience.Rekha received a nomination of 1997 Star Screen Award for Best Actress.
Plot Summary:-
Mansi (Rekha) and Amar (Om Puri) have been married for years, and have a daughter by this marriage. Amar is employed full-time, while Mansi looks after the household chores and their daughter. Amar earns a steady income, which enables the family to live comfortably, but they cannot afford to be extravagant at all. Navin Nischol was an Indian actor. He made his debut with the Hindi film Sawan Bhadon in 1970. He was the first gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of India to make it big. He starred in several superhits, such as Victoria No. 203 (1972) and Dhund (1973). Hanste Zakhm was the great breakthrough of his career. Later on, He switched to character roles and carved out a successful career for himself in television. One of his most successful serials on television was Dekh Bhai Dekh, co-starring Sushma Seth, Shekhar Suman and Farida Jalal. He also starred in the Punjabi films Aasra Pyar Da (1983) and Mahaul Theek Hai (1999).

The film begins with Mahendru,a widowed police officer and his young daughter, Chanda. Chanda's best friend is Rekha, the daughter of a prostitute. Rekha stays over at Chanda's house, when Rekha's mother accidentally kills someone in an effort to stop her pimp from carrying off Rekha into prostitution as well. She is sent to prison, and begs Mahendru not to reveal to Rekha anything about her life as a working girl. Mahendru promises to protect and raise the child as his own daughter. The pimp, Jeevan, attempts to kidnap Rekha but his goons mistakenly kidnap Chanda. When he realizes the error he decides to make the best of a bad situation by asking Mahendru for a large ransom. Mahendru borrows the ransom money from a friend, but the pimp deceives him and delivers the girl to a madam.Many years later, we find cab driver Somesh driving Chanda to her clients. Somesh is the ne'er-do-well scion of a rich family, who has a falling out with his father as he refuses to marry Rekha, the Police Officer's daughter. He leaves his wealthy home & life-style to become a cab-driver. Chanda and Somesh fall in love. Chanda eventually realizes that she really is Mahendru's daughter.This leads her to assume the daughter's duty by trying to convince Somesh to marry Rekha, her sister. She does this by turning alcoholic, in an effort to prove her essential wanton-ness to Somesh - who does not understand her intention and refuses to live his life according to her ideals of filial responsibility. Later, the pimp kidnaps Chanda again and informs Mahendru that his daughter is under his captivity and tries to blackmail him for release of Chanda. However, Mahendru refuses to give-in and attacks Jivan's camp with police force. Chanda dies in this rescue operation. Before dying in her father Mahendru's arms, Chanda asks Somesh to marry Rekha, and he does.

The stroy revolves around a foreign retuned bachelor, Vikram who belongs to a wealthy family. Vikram decides to come back to India which disturbs the plans of Sulochana. During his arrival he is blocked by some looters who are actually the men hired by Sulochana's brother to kill him. One day while buying shoes for her daughter, Mansi realizes that shoes are really expensive, and wants to leave the store without purchasing them. Another woman customer named Reena (Daisy Irani) offers to pay for the shoes, as she feels sorry for Mansi. The girl involved is Rajni sister of Chaya the police officer Chaya but now in Amar's Love. Aafat has many characters of the world of crime, who are accosted by Amar, but the most significant is Champa, who signs and dances on the street, sells drugs, but makes some mistake for which she pays dearly. Amar and Chaya risk their very lives trying to solve the mystery behind the whole operation. Mahesh and Rajni play their part.
Inspector Amar and Inspector Chhaya are after criminal Hardayal. Amar and Chhaya fall in love. Amar goes beyond call of his duty to catch Hardayal and hence suspended. Amar is caught by Hardayal and imprisoned. Now Chhaya is supposed find criminal Hardayal.

Faryal (born 3 November 1945 in Syria) is an Indian film actress and dancer of mixed Indian and Arabic descent working in Hindi films. She was a popular Bollywood cabaret dancer and actress in the 1960s and 70's.
Faryal was born in the Damascus area of Syria on 3 November 1945 to an Indian father and a Syrian mother. She completed her education at Loretto Convent, Simla, Cathedral High School and St. Xavier's College, Bombay. Faryal worked for a while as an air hostess in Air India before joining films. She is a product of the FilmaIaya School of Acting.
Faryal married her long-time boyfriend after quitting movies, and she is currently living in Israel.
Faryal entered Bollywood in 1965 in the black-n-white movie Zindagi aur Maut, as a lead role opposite Pradip Kumar. This film contained famous song "Dil Laga kar hum ye samjhe" sung solo by Asha Bhonsle and Mahender Kapoor. both these songs are available on YouTube. Faryal was liked by people and resulted in her getting lead role in film Biradari opposite Shashi Kapoor. The movie was a total flop. She was noted for her role as a cabaret dancer in the movie Jewel Thief released in 1967. After the movie's release, offers started pouring in. In an interview in 1973, Faryal stated that "Ever since Goldie cast me in that glamorous dancer's role in Jewel Thief, film makers have looked upon me as an "excellent cabaret dancer". "Whereas in reality I have never learnt dancing,". "I don't even like dancing; I rather hate it". She was also noticed for her roles in Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz starrer 'Sachcha Jhootha' and Dharmendra-Waheeda Rehman starrer 'Man Ki Aankhen'. At first afraid of being typecast, Faryal was reluctant to accept the numerous offers that she received soon after the release of Jewel Thief. But gradually she realized that if she refused the roles there were ten others ready to replace her. And now the bath tub scene in Apradh released in 1972 had given me an even worse image". Faryal retired from movies in 1984 after her performance as the girlfriend of Jeetendra in Gold Medal.
