DOLLY is a monthly teen magazine started in 1970 by Fairfax Ltd. in Australia and New Zealand, and purchased by ACP in 1988. The current editor is Gemma Crisp, former features editor at Cleo, who was made editor of Dolly magazine in September 2007. The previous editor was Bronwyn McCahon who has been editor since 2004 and is now the editor of Australian Cosmopolitan.

Dolly was the basis and inspiration for Sassy Magazine (1987-1996) in the United States. The magazine is aimed at older teenage girls (13-17 age group) and covers celebrity news and gossip, fashion and beauty and various feature articles attractive to female teenagers and dealing with issues that are faced by this age group and gender. The magazine also has a website containing games, information on upcoming issues, quizzes and downloads. The magazine has now produced over 400 issues and in as of 2007 has a readership of 505,000.

In 2005 Dolly came into media attention for taking advantage of young people wanting to get into the magazine industry. Dolly was accused of soliciting, publishing and ridiculing unpaid articles from hopeful young women looking for a job in magazine journalism.

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born 15 April 1990) is an English actress and model.

Watson rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series. Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of nine, having previously acted only in school plays. Indiana Rose Evans (born 27 July 1990) is an Australian actress best known for her role as Matilda Hunter in the soap opera Home and Away and as Isabella "Bella" Hartley in the children's show H2O: Just Add Water.

Indiana Evans had an interest in performing since the age of five, when she would perform for family and friends. At the age of seven, Indiana's parents enrolled her into dance lessons, which started with ballet and then evolved to jazz and tap.

Before working on Home and Away, Indiana Evans started high school at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, but left after two weeks to focus on her acting career. She then took up a correspondence course until she turned 15.

In 2003, Evans had a guest role as Milly Roberts in an episode of All Saints. She then landed the principal role in an American campaign for Kool Aid. Joseph Adam "Joe" Jonas (born August 15, 1989) is an American pop singer, musician, actor, and dancer. He is a member of the Jonas Brothers, a pop-rock band made up of him and his two brothers, Nick and Kevin. He starred as Joseph Lucas on the Disney Channel original series Jonas, and released his debut solo studio album, Fastlife in October 2011.

Joseph Adam Jonas was born in Casa Grande, Arizona. His mother, Denise (née Miller), is a former sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr., is a songwriter, musician and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church. Joe is of Italian (from a great-grandfather), German, Irish, English, Cherokee, and French-Canadian descent.

On August 17, 2007, Jonas, along with his brothers, guest starred in an episode of Hannah Montana. The episode debuted alongside the television film High School Musical 2 and a sneak peek of the new Disney Channel show Phineas and Ferb. The episode broke basic cable records with a record 10.7 million viewers, and became basic cable's most watched series telecast ever.
