세 번째 미니앨범 [BR:evolution] 발매!
특히 이번 타이틀 곡 [Get Down]은 각자의 대상에 대한 저항과 반항을 표현한 곡으로, 현실을 박차고 나가고자 하는 간절함이 멤버 각자의 보컬에 묻어난다. 강한 베이스 드럼과 808 신스 사운드로 이끌어 가는 악기소리 역시 파워가 느껴지며, 강한 분위기에 걸맞게 전신을 사용한 파워풀한 안무 역시 대중의 이목을 집중시킨다.
공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 전세계적으로 공개 된 뮤직비디오에서는 [Get Down]이 가지고 있는 가사의 전반적인 의미를 확장시켜 멤버들이 여러 가지 상황 속에서 핍박받고 억압받는 사람들을 이끄는 혁명가의 모습으로 분했다. 멤버들은 화려한 분장과 스타일링을 통해 각자 독특한 캐릭터를 가진 개성넘치는 리더들로 분하여 보는 재미를 더했다. 특히 19금 판정을 받은 이번 뮤직비디오는 섹시한 여성 모델이 등장해 뜨거운 분위기를 연출하고, 전투 중 적군의 신체를 훼손하는 등 기존 아이돌 뮤직비디오에서는 볼 수 없었던 충격적인 장면들이 들어있어 보는 이들에게 충격과 놀라움을 선사한다. 또한 노래의 의도와 궤를 같이 하는 영화 “매드맥스”에 대한 오마주 장면 역시 볼거리다.
이번 앨범에는 타이틀 곡 [Get Down] 을 비롯해 총 5곡이 수록되어 있다. [지켜만 봐]는 강한 힙합비트에 얼번 코드가 어우러진 곡으로, 곡이 끝날 때까지 긴장을 늦추지 못하게 하는 세련된 편곡과 멜로디 라인이 돋보인다. 한 여자를 향한 마음과 남자로써의 강한 자신감을 표현하는 곡으로 EXO의 ‘으르렁’, ‘불공평해’ 등의 히트곡들을 작곡한 신혁과 DEAN이 작곡에 참여했다. 운명의 그녀에게 마음을 뺏긴 남자의 모습을 표현한 파워풀한 미디엄 템포의 곡 [V.I.P]는 긴장감을 주는 코드진행과 몽환적인 분위기의 리드악기들을 사용해 판타지와 남성스러움을 동시에 표현하고 있다. [몽유]를 이은 리더 원준의 두 번째 자작곡 [널 위했던 노래]는 시간이 흘러도 여전히 보고 싶은 ‘너’에게 바치는 노래이다. 피아노와 첼로, 그리고 목소리만으로 슬픈 감성을 표현하며 한층 더 성숙한 모습을 보여주고 있다.

Get down is a stance, posture or movement in many traditional African cultures and throughout the African diaspora. It involves bending at the waist and knees, bringing the body low to the ground in moments of ecstasy or intensity. Bending at the knees and waist is an expression of profound spirituality[citation needed] and connectedness to the earth[citation needed]. It also indicates suppleness and conveys qualities and values of vitality, youthfulness and energy.
In Gahu choreography, often dancers move counterclockwise in a circle of alternating men and women; their performance includes "long passages of a lightly bouncy basic 'step' leavened with brief 'get down' sections in which the dancers lower their center of weight and move with intensified strength and quickness."
The term "get down" in popular music and slang is directly related to this particular element of the African aesthetic, filtered through the African American experience. Use of the term by white Americans since the middle-20th century, though, is credited to the influence of a Caucasian disc jockey, Bill "Hoss" Allen, who used it on his nightly soul music shows on Nashville, Tennessee station WLAC.

특히 이번 타이틀 곡 [Get Down]은 각자의 대상에 대한 저항과 반항을 표현한 곡으로, 현실을 박차고 나가고자 하는 간절함이 멤버 각자의 보컬에 묻어난다. 강한 베이스 드럼과 808 신스 사운드로 이끌어 가는 악기소리 역시 파워가 느껴지며, 강한 분위기에 걸맞게 전신을 사용한 파워풀한 안무 역시 대중의 이목을 집중시킨다.
공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 전세계적으로 공개 된 뮤직비디오에서는 [Get Down]이 가지고 있는 가사의 전반적인 의미를 확장시켜 멤버들이 여러 가지 상황 속에서 핍박받고 억압받는 사람들을 이끄는 혁명가의 모습으로 분했다. 멤버들은 화려한 분장과 스타일링을 통해 각자 독특한 캐릭터를 가진 개성넘치는 리더들로 분하여 보는 재미를 더했다. 특히 19금 판정을 받은 이번 뮤직비디오는 섹시한 여성 모델이 등장해 뜨거운 분위기를 연출하고, 전투 중 적군의 신체를 훼손하는 등 기존 아이돌 뮤직비디오에서는 볼 수 없었던 충격적인 장면들이 들어있어 보는 이들에게 충격과 놀라움을 선사한다. 또한 노래의 의도와 궤를 같이 하는 영화 “매드맥스”에 대한 오마주 장면 역시 볼거리다.
이번 앨범에는 타이틀 곡 [Get Down] 을 비롯해 총 5곡이 수록되어 있다. [지켜만 봐]는 강한 힙합비트에 얼번 코드가 어우러진 곡으로, 곡이 끝날 때까지 긴장을 늦추지 못하게 하는 세련된 편곡과 멜로디 라인이 돋보인다. 한 여자를 향한 마음과 남자로써의 강한 자신감을 표현하는 곡으로 EXO의 ‘으르렁’, ‘불공평해’ 등의 히트곡들을 작곡한 신혁과 DEAN이 작곡에 참여했다. 운명의 그녀에게 마음을 뺏긴 남자의 모습을 표현한 파워풀한 미디엄 템포의 곡 [V.I.P]는 긴장감을 주는 코드진행과 몽환적인 분위기의 리드악기들을 사용해 판타지와 남성스러움을 동시에 표현하고 있다.
