Having began his
Pokémon journey, DY is now on
Route 30 where he will get his first taste of a trainer battle and also meet a new and valuable friend, and two other friends who are sort of
... meh?
Violet City and the first badge beckons for this aspiring master of the Pokémans.

***THE
NEW AND SLIGHTLY IMPROVED RULES***
► Only the first wild Pokémon encountered in each new route/area can be caught. If you kill it or it runs, you've missed out on your chance for that area and must move on. If you encounter a Pokémon you've already caught, the
Species Clause comes into affect, and you have two more chances to catch something else.
► If a Pokémon faints, it is considered "dead" and it must be placed in the PC (in a box reserved for dead Pokémon) and never used again.
► All Pokémon caught must be nicknamed, because apparently you can'
t form an emotional bond with them without it
►
The following things are randomized: Starters, wild
Pokémon, trainer's teams, names and classes, TM's, field items (except for shitty useless items, they've been removed) and in-game trades (even though I still can't do them)
►
Gift Pokémon, legendaries and other static Pokémon are completely randomized now
► Pokémon that evolve via trades now evolve normally
► If you black/white out at any
point, regardless if you have alive Pokémon in the PC or not, the challenge is over and you lose...again
