Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) find out that Glen (Billy Boyd) is missing some rather important anatomy.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
When the notoriously evil Chucky doll and his lover gave birth, they had no idea that their spawn would grow up to be a peace-loving kind of guy; however, that's exactly what Glen turns out to be: a gentle soul who is horrified at what he has been told about his family. After hearing the news of a film being made about his parents' murderous legacy, Glen sets off for Hollywood, where he promptly brings Chucky and Tiffany back to life. Far from diving into doting fatherhood, Chucky is seriously disappointed in his son's lack of inherent evil and tries his best to impart his vast knowledge of all things malevolent before Glen becomes some sort of do-gooder. Elsewhere, Tiffany finds that she will be played by Jennifer Tilly in their movie and doesn't hesitate to let her son in on their family's most cherished tradition -- killing sprees. Directed by Don Mancini, Seed of Chucky features Brad Dourif returning as the voice of Chucky, while Tilly plays both herself and Tiffany. The offspring of the evil pair, Glen, is voiced by Lord of the Rings star Billy Boyd. Cult film director John Waters also makes an appearance, as does hip-hop artist Redman.

In this video, I capture nature and woodland photography at Glen Nevis Way.
I have a hard drive full of images and video files that will never see the light of day. The reason for this is simple, the images I captured just don't cut the mustard. I know technically they will be right but aesthetically they won't be anything special. Because of this, I will never create a video to document the time spent creating them.
Since I promised to show and document my unsuccessful trips away here you have it, a day's photography I'm really not happy with!
I believe I captured the best I could have given the location and conditions but none of the images has that wow factor. The truth of the matter is, a lot of trips away end up like this. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It's just a fact of life.
I'm always the first to say, it's much more important to enjoy your photography than it is to get great results.

3X A Week My Grandmother Made These Buns! Glen And Friends Cooking
This is my Grandmother's recipe - not exactly a Parker House Rolls Recipe, but her take on the easy yeasted bread roll. This is a slightly sweet dinner roll recipe, and a perfect Thanksgiving dinner rolls recipe... But my Grandmother made these 3X a week - so you don't need a special occasion to make them.

Ingredients:
30 mL (2 Tbsp) warm water (105º-115ºf)
10 mL (2 tsp) active dry yeast
250 mL (1 cup) warm milk
30 mL (2 Tbsp) butter
1 egg lightly beaten
750 mL (3 cups) all-purpose flour, + 1/2 cup extra
60 mL (¼ cup) granulated sugar
7 mL (1½ tsp) salt
Method:
Rehydrate the yeast in the warm water.
To the warm milk add the butter and egg.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the flour, sugar, salt, water, and milk mixtures.
With a dough hook; mix just until it becomes a ragged ball.
Let rest 15-25 minutes.
After resting; knead 10-12 minutes, adding a little flour if the dough is too sticky.
After kneading; cover and let rest until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Turn the dough out on your bench; divide into 16 pieces.
Shape the pieces into balls and place in a greased 16x9” glass baking dish.
Cover and let rest, until buns double in size.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temp is at least 190ºF.

Glen
A glen is a valley, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped, or one with a watercourse running through it. Whittow defines it as a "Scottish term for a deep valley in the Highlands" that is "narrower than a strath".
The word is Goidelic in origin: gleann in Irish and Scottish Gaelic, glion in Manx. In Manx, glan is also to be found meaning glen. It is cognate with Welsh glyn. The word is sometimes found in tautological placenames where its meaning was opaque to a new linguistic community, an example perhaps being Glendale (literally "valley valley") which is a combination of Norse "dale" and Gaelic "glen".
As the name of a river, it is thought to derive from the Irish word glan meaning clean, or the Welsh word gleindid meaning purity. An example is the Glens of Antrim in Northern Ireland where nine glens radiate out from the Antrim plateau to the sea along the coast between Ballycastle and Larne.
In the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, the southern ends of Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake in particular are etched with glens, although in this region the term "glen" refers most frequently to a narrow gorge, as opposed to a wider valley or strath. The steep hills surrounding these lakes are filled with loose shale from glacial moraines. This material has eroded over the past 10,000 years to produce rocky glens (e.g. Watkins Glen and Treman State Parks) and waterfalls (e.g., Taughannock Falls) as rainfall has descended toward the lakes below.

In this video, I capture nature and woodland photography at Glen Nevis Way. I have a hard drive full of images and video files that will never see the light of day. The reason for this is simple, the images I captured just don't cut the mustard. I know technically they will be right but aesthetically they won't be anything special. In this video, I capture nature and woodland photography at Glen Nevis Way.
I have a hard drive full of images and video files that will never see the light of day. The reason for this is simple, the images I captured just don't cut the mustard. I know technically they will be right but aesthetically they won't be anything special. Because of this, I will never create a video to document the time spent creating them.
Since I promised to show and document my unsuccessful trips away here you have it, a day's photography I'm really not happy with!
I believe I captured the best I could have given the location and conditions but none of the images has that wow factor. The truth of the matter is, a lot of trips away end up like this. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It's just a fact of life.
I'm always the first to say, it's much more important to enjoy your photography than it is to get great results.

3X A Week My Grandmother Made These Buns! Glen And Friends Cooking
This is my Grandmother's recipe - not exactly a Parker House Rolls Recipe, but her take on the easy yeasted bread roll. This is a slightly sweet dinner roll recipe, and a perfect Thanksgiving dinner rolls recipe... But my Grandmother made these 3X a week - so you don't need a special occasion to make them.

Ingredients:
30 mL (2 Tbsp) warm water (105º-115ºf)
10 mL (2 tsp) active dry yeast
250 mL (1 cup) warm milk
30 mL (2 Tbsp) butter
1 egg lightly beaten
750 mL (3 cups) all-purpose flour, + 1/2 cup extra
60 mL (¼ cup) granulated sugar
7 mL (1½ tsp) salt
Method:
Rehydrate the yeast in the warm water.
To the warm milk add the butter and egg.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the flour, sugar, salt, water, and milk mixtures.
With a dough hook; mix just until it becomes a ragged ball.
Let rest 15-25 minutes.
After resting; knead 10-12 minutes, adding a little flour if the dough is too sticky.
After kneading; cover and let rest until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Turn the dough out on your bench; divide into 16 pieces.
Shape the pieces into balls and place in a greased 16x9” glass baking dish.
Cover and let rest, until buns double in size.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temp is at least 190ºF.

CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) find out that Glen (Billy Boyd) is missing some rather important anatomy.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
When the notoriously evil Chucky doll and his lover gave birth, they had no idea that their spawn would grow up to be a peace-loving kind of guy; however, that's exactly what Glen turns out to be: a gentle soul who is horrified at what he has been told about his family. After hearing the news of a film being made about his parents' murderous legacy, Glen sets off for Hollywood, where he promptly brings Chucky and Tiffany back to life. Far from diving into doting fatherhood, Chucky is seriously disappointed in his son's lack of inherent evil and tries his best to impart his vast knowledge of all things malevolent before Glen becomes some sort of do-gooder. Elsewhere, Tiffany finds that she will be played by Jennifer Tilly in their movie and doesn't hesitate to let her son in on their family's most cherished tradition -- killing sprees. Directed by Don Mancini, Seed of Chucky features Brad Dourif returning as the voice of Chucky, while Tilly plays both herself and Tiffany. The offspring of the evil pair, Glen, is voiced by Lord of the Rings star Billy Boyd. Cult film director John Waters also makes an appearance, as does hip-hop artist Redman.

In this video, I capture nature and woodland photography at Glen Nevis Way.
I have a hard drive full of images and video files that will never see the light of day. The reason for this is simple, the images I captured just don't cut the mustard. I know technically they will be right but aesthetically they won't be anything special. Because of this, I will never create a video to document the time spent creating them.
Since I promised to show and document my unsuccessful trips away here you have it, a day's photography I'm really not happy with!
I believe I captured the best I could have given the location and conditions but none of the images has that wow factor. The truth of the matter is, a lot of trips away end up like this. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It's just a fact of life.
I'm always the first to say, it's much more important to enjoy your photography than it is to get great results.

3X A Week My Grandmother Made These Buns! Glen And Friends Cooking
This is my Grandmother's recipe - not exactly a Parker House Rolls Recipe, but her take on the easy yeasted bread roll. This is a slightly sweet dinner roll recipe, and a perfect Thanksgiving dinner rolls recipe... But my Grandmother made these 3X a week - so you don't need a special occasion to make them.

Ingredients:
30 mL (2 Tbsp) warm water (105º-115ºf)
10 mL (2 tsp) active dry yeast
250 mL (1 cup) warm milk
30 mL (2 Tbsp) butter
1 egg lightly beaten
750 mL (3 cups) all-purpose flour, + 1/2 cup extra
60 mL (¼ cup) granulated sugar
7 mL (1½ tsp) salt
Method:
Rehydrate the yeast in the warm water.
To the warm milk add the butter and egg.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the flour, sugar, salt, water, and milk mixtures.
With a dough hook; mix just until it becomes a ragged ball.
Let rest 15-25 minutes.
After resting; knead 10-12 minutes, adding a little flour if the dough is too sticky.
After kneading; cover and let rest until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Turn the dough out on your bench; divide into 16 pieces.
Shape the pieces into balls and place in a greased 16x9” glass baking dish.
Cover and let rest, until buns double in size.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temp is at least 190ºF.

Glen
A glen is a valley, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped, or one with a watercourse running through it. Whittow defines it as a "Scottish term for a deep valley in the Highlands" that is "narrower than a strath".
The word is Goidelic in origin: gleann in Irish and Scottish Gaelic, glion in Manx. In Manx, glan is also to be found meaning glen. It is cognate with Welsh glyn. The word is sometimes found in tautological placenames where its meaning was opaque to a new linguistic community, an example perhaps being Glendale (literally "valley valley") which is a combination of Norse "dale" and Gaelic "glen".
As the name of a river, it is thought to derive from the Irish word glan meaning clean, or the Welsh word gleindid meaning purity. An example is the Glens of Antrim in Northern Ireland where nine glens radiate out from the Antrim plateau to the sea along the coast between Ballycastle and Larne.
In the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, the southern ends of Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake in particular are etched with glens, although in this region the term "glen" refers most frequently to a narrow gorge, as opposed to a wider valley or strath. The steep hills surrounding these lakes are filled with loose shale from glacial moraines. This material has eroded over the past 10,000 years to produce rocky glens (e.g. Watkins Glen and Treman State Parks) and waterfalls (e.g., Taughannock Falls) as rainfall has descended toward the lakes below.
