Plot: Las Vegas. Any given Friday night. The girls of the Sin Pit at the Rapture Casino are the sexiest dealers in town pumping cards, piling chips and pushing dice at one of the hottest spots around...and the customers are loving every minute of it. One of the favorites is Kora, a beautiful single mom who dotes on her precocious 9-year old son, Josh. When Josh is diagnosed with leukemia, Kora's world comes crashing down. The relief she finds at learning the illness was caught early enough to cure is quickly smashed at being informed the experimental procedure needed won't be covered by the company health insurance. The ladies appeal to their boss, casino owner Dean Belding, to approach the insurance company on Josh's behalf. Despite promises to do his best, they learn that Dean makes no effort to help and even makes callous remarks about the dying boy and his unwed mother. Kora's friends rally around her and Josh, but even pooling their resources, they can't come close to the $200,000+ needed for the procedure. One of the dealers, a party girl named Aero, comes up with a wild idea to raise the money they need. They appeal to Dean again, this time asking that he allow them to make and market sexy Playboy-style calendars to sell as a fund-raiser at the upcoming, property-wide pajama party. Since he's not asked to put up any money, and finding himself pressed into an uncomfortable spot, he agrees to let the ladies try to push their product at the big event. Days before the event begins, Dean gets his first look at the calendars and pulls the plug on the fund-raiser claiming the photos are "too sexy" and might create negatively publicity or get the property in trouble with the uptight state gaming commission. Everyone close to Dean appeals to him to reconsider, but his mind is set. The fact that a child's life hangs in the balance doesn't seem to faze him in the least. Desperate and depressed, Kora and her friends decide only one option remains - steal the money they need to save Josh's life. After a little debate and a lot of planning, the main five girls are on board and have laid out their scheme to liberate money from Dean Belding's Rapture Casino. The big weekend arrives and the complex heist is put into play. Possible prison time is put from their minds as the life of a child hangs in the balance. Unbeknownst to the others, one of the girls is withholding information and one of the people recruited to help isn't what he seems. In fact, he works directly for Dean, but where his loyalties lie is anyone's guess...

Plot: An 8-year-old kid, Pranav, is the only son of a rich couple Sidharth and Renuka. Sidharth works for a Multinational Company as an officer whose job requires a lot of traveling. In a way, Sidharth is also obsessed with his job and, therefore, is unable to give any time to his child and wife. Renuka, on the other hand, is a highly skilled and a dedicated Media correspondent working for a private channel. She also faces the same problem of giving time to her child and husband. They are running with the mechanized professional objectives like any other conventional human beings of the contemporary age. The end result is that Pranav misses out on his parents and becomes a victim of suppressed emotions. Meanwhile, Pranav gains the friendship of his neighbor, Jackie, a loner. An advocate by profession, Jackie is also a hardcore alcoholic with a very cool and unconventional attitude towards life. This growing intimacy between the two of them creates insecurity in the minds of Sidharth and Renuka, who try various means to deviate Pranav, but their attempts make Pranav more intimate to Jackie. During one of Jackie's court sessions, Pranav accompanies Jackie to watch the proceedings. The case is about a divorce between a husband and a wife. Pranav asks the meaning for the word "divorce," and Jackie explains that it is a separation between two people who do not like each other. For the first time, Pranav asks whether he can get divorced from his parents since he does not like them. Though Pranav did not mean what he said, Jackie is shocked and convinces Pranav against it. In another incident that follows, Shyam, a drug addict and a resident of the apartment building in which Pranav resides, commits suicide due to a failed relationship. Pranav understands from a depressed old man that suicide is "freedom from all worries." These incidents create an indelible mark in the mind of Pranav, who thereafter threatens Jackie that he would commit suicide if he was not getting a divorce from his parents. Jackie conveys the seriousness to his parents. Sidharth and Renuka plan come home early in turns, but they still do not address the actual problems of Pranav, who wants to share a lot with his parents. But as a result of the professional demands, Sidharth and Renuka start quarreling with each other for not sticking on to their plan. Now Pranav decides to campaign for the divorce with all his heart. Jackie is unable to convince Pranav this time and agrees to take up the case on Pranav's behalf for granting the separation. As an outcome the Judge instructs the government to devise a new penal code to handle the case where the kid himself can file a complaint against his parents. The new penal code is created, and the final verdict by the Judge becomes the climax of the film.

Plot: Aditya is a young man who lives in Bangalore, India. Plot: The film starts with Saketh Ram as a very old man and almost immediately goes into flashback. As a young man he is among his friends, in conviviality. He has taken a Bengali wife, Aparna, and everything is wonderful in his life. But the year is 1946, and the imminent independence of India from British suzerainty is complicated by religious antagonism between the Hindu majority and the large Muslim minority, who demand their own independent state. Saketh and Aparna visit Calcutta; rioting is reported, but Saketh goes out to get some food, and he soon encounters a Hindu woman being chased by Muslim rioters. He rescues her, but the rioters later come to his house, and brutally rape and then kill his wife. Saketh is devastated and takes to the streets, determined personally to kill as many Muslims as he can find. He meets up with Sriram Abhiyankar, who is leading a group of Hindu extremists, and Saketh becomes temporarily taken with the cause himself. At the same time, he is persuaded to take a new wife, Mythili, and life begins to stabilise for Saketh after all. However he then falls in with an eminent Maharajah who is leading an underground group with the intention of assassination. Travelling with the Maharajah, Saketh meets one of his old friends from younger days, who has fallen on hard times. Reminiscing, and getting his old friend back on his feet deflect the process of recruiting Saketh, but only temporarily, and soon he is manipulated into committing himself to renouncing his family and his new wife, in the interests of the cause which now is disclosed as the assassination of Gandhi. Although a fellow Hindu, Gandhi was felt by some to be too conciliatory to Muslims and in the logic of extremists, Gandhi became the prime target. Soon Saketh is informed that Gandhi will be in Delhi for some weeks, and that Saketh is to take the opportunity to do "his duty". However, hiding from a snap search by the police, he has to hide his pistol on a delivery lorry, and it is driven away to a factory owned by Muslims. Going there hoping to retrieve the gun, he becomes engulfed in a shoot-out between some Hindu attackers and the Muslims, and finds that his loyalties are not so clear cut as he had imagined. Finally he escapes after the death of another of his old friends in the crossfire. The next day, January 30th 1948, he contrives to be near Gandhi in a public prayer ground, his appointment with destiny. But the film still has 20 minutes to run, and the ending is not what you expect.
