Identical Remote Controlled Reactions

Identical Remote Controlled Reactions is the second and final studio album by Australian nu metal group Superheist. It is the first to feature Joey Biro as the lead singer. The album proved far stronger than their previous album, The Prize Recruit, in song personality and overall weight in sound. Though not taken as well by critics, it was well received by the fanbase. The album itself seemed far more adventurous in sound, with short instrumental interludes included between songs and far more experimentation with keyboards and bass.

It was recorded at Backbeach Studios in Rye, Victoria by DW Norton, Fetah Sabawi and Adam Rhodes.

In February 2004, not long after their last tour, Superheist disbanded.

Background

In August 2001 Superheist supported Eminem at his Sydney concert, they also appeared at various festivals later that year: Livid (October/November), Meredith (mid-December), and Falls (late December). The group signed an international management deal with Gary Avilla (Papa Roach). However, founding lead singer Roderick "Berger" McLeod "no longer shared the band's commitment and enthusiasm" and had left in November.

Liberate (song)

"Liberate" is a song by the American heavy metal band Disturbed. The song was released as the third and last single from their second studio album, Believe. The word "fuck" is used 17 times as the word "motherfucker".

The single peaked at number 21 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, number 4 in the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number 22 in the Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Sunder Shyam Chadda (born February 1920 in Sialkot - died April 25, 1951) was a Hindi film actor of the 1940s. He originally hailed from Sialkot and his full name was Sunder Shyam Chadha, but he grew up in Rawalpindi.

Shyam graduated from Gordon College in Rawalpindi. He was a close personal friend of Saadat Hasan Manto and was the inspiration of many of his stories. Even after partition their bond of friendship endured. One of his famous movies was Bazaar, released in 1949 where he starred with Nigar Sultana. He married a Muslim, Taji Mumtaz Qureshi with whom he had a daughter , Pakistani TV actress Sahira Kazmi, married to actor Rahat Kazmi, and a son named Shakir, a psychiatrist based in UK.

Shyam acted in many memorable: Mann kee jeet (1944), Majboor (1948), Dillagi (1949), Patanga (1949), Chandni Raat (1949), Meena Bazaar (1950) and Samadhi (1950).Shyam died on the set of the film Shabistan in 1951 after he fell off a horse. The film was completed with a stand-in and body double in his place.

Reflexive pronoun

In language, a reflexive pronoun, sometimes simply called a reflexive, is a pronoun that is preceded or followed by the noun, adjective, adverb or pronoun to which it refers (its antecedent) within the same clause.

In English specifically, a reflexive pronoun is a pronoun that ends in self or selves, and is an object that refers to a previously named noun or pronoun. Reflexive pronouns take the same forms as intensive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, ourselves, itself, themselves, yourselves

In generative grammar, a reflexive pronoun is an anaphor that must be bound by its antecedent (see binding). In a general sense, it is a noun phrase that obligatorily gets its meaning from another noun phrase in the sentence. Different languages have different binding domains for reflexive pronouns, according to their structure.

Origins and usage

In Indo-European languages, the reflexive pronoun has its origins in Proto-Indo-European. In some languages, the distinction between the normal object and reflexive pronouns exists mainly in the third person: whether one says "I like me" or "I like myself", there is no question that the object is the same person as the subject; but, in "They like them(selves)", there can be uncertainty about the identity of the object unless a distinction exists between the reflexive and the nonreflexive. In some languages, this distinction includes genitive forms: see, for instance, the Danish examples below. In languages with a distinct reflexive pronoun form, it is often gender-neutral.
