Buzz Kulik (July 23, 1922 – January 13, 1999) was an American film director and producer. He directed 72 films and television shows, including several episodes of The Twilight Zone.
Bad Ronald is a television film that aired in 1974, starring Scott Jacoby, Kim Hunter, Dabney Coleman and sisters Lisa and Cindy Eilbacher. It is based on the book of the same title by Jack Vance.
After being out of print for years following its initial VHS release in the 1980s, the film was reissued on DVD in August 2009, as part of the manufacture-on-demand Warner Archive Collection.
Ronald Wilby (Scott Jacoby) is a socially inept, awkward high school youth with budding artistic talent and a predilection for fantasy, who is often ridiculed for his behavior and mannerisms. His overprotective mother, Elaine (Kim Hunter), is in need of surgery and plans for Ronald to become a doctor and cure her illness. Ronald's father has not been heard from in years, having divorced his mother and then agreeing to terminate his parental rights in exchange for not having to pay child support.
One afternoon, while asking Laurie Matthews out, he is rejected and then ridiculed by her friends. As he returns home, he accidentally knocks over her younger sister Carole. Carole, like Laurie, also taunts Ronald, at which point he pushes her over, inadvertently killing her when she strikes her head on a concrete block during the fall. He buries the body and confesses to his mother, but fearing the police will not believe that it was accidental, Ronald and his mother wallpaper the door frame to the downstairs bathroom and convert the closed-off space to a living quarters for Ronald, with a concealed trapdoor in the pantry through which Ronald can escape in an emergency. The plan is for him to hide in the room until the incident blows over, and Mrs. Wilby tells the police that Ronald ran away.
Dabney Wharton Coleman (born January 3, 1932) is an American actor best known for roles in the films 9 to 5, Cloak & Dagger, Tootsie, WarGames, You've Got Mail and on TV as Louis "The Commodore" Kaestner in HBO's Boardwalk Empire and the voice of Principal Prickly in the animated series Recess.
Coleman was born in Austin, Texas, the son of Mary Wharton (née Johns) and Melvin Randolph Coleman. He entered the Virginia Military Institute in 1949, then studied law at the University of Texas before turning to acting. He was drafted in 1953 to the United States Army and served in Europe.
Coleman is a character actor who has a wide range, with over 60 films to his credit. He trained with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater from 1958-60. Early roles in his career included a US Olympic skiing team coach in the Robert Redford 1969 film Downhill Racer, a high-ranking superior San Francisco deputy fire chief to battalion chief Steve McQueen in The Towering Inferno (1974) and a wealthy Westerner whose champion horse is entered in a long-distance race against that of Gene Hackman and others in Bite the Bullet (1975). He portrayed an FBI Special Agent in the NBC-TV movie Attack on Terror: The FBI vs. the Ku Klux Klan (1975).
Scott Bennett "Scotty" Jacoby (born November 26, 1956 in Skokie, Illionois) is an American actor. He won an Emmy Award for his role in the 1972 television film That Certain Summer. He is also known for playing the lead role in the made for TV film Bad Ronald (1974).
Jacoby was born in Skokie, Illinois, but moved to Flushing, New York, when he was 10-years-old. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his portrayal of Ally in the Broadway musical Golden Rainbow, which starred Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé. Jacoby was nominated in the category Best Featured Actor in a Musical at the 22nd Tony Awards, held on April 21, 1968.
He began his television career playing the role of "Hubcap," who was a friend of Josh Hall (Laurence Fishburne) on the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live. He also had a recurring role on The Golden Girls as Dorothy's musician son, Michael Zbornak.
He is the oldest of five acting siblings, including half-brothers Billy Jacoby (now Billy Jayne, born in 1969), Bobby Jacoby (now Robert Jayne, born in 1973), and sisters Laura Jacoby and Susan Jacoby.

The platonic friendship between two high school youths is explored through the attempts to get the girl an abortion. Her young male friend offers his support and tries to find her a doctor. She is grateful, but has trouble in expressing her thanks. At times funny, at other times touching, this is a refreshing, uncommon look at teenage friendship. © 1971, renewed 1999 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

I want to start off by saying I love Burgess Meredith. He's exceptional in just about everything he ever did. If you wanted Burgess Meredith, you got Burgess Meredith as - the Penguin in Batman, as Henry Bemis, the man who breaks his glasses after a nuclear apocalypse, as the "Dingle" here, as "The Obsolete Man" at the end of this season (which we will also be reviewing), as the Devil later on ... just a top-notch actor, he has a mischievious almost youthful, innocent feel about him, about his performances. I guess this is a crazy what-if story. You have aliens observing us. Two aliens from Mars walk into a bar - sounds like a bad joke, right? You have Dingle, this guy who I guess is a pleasant mensch, a regular guy, likes to come down to the bar, have a drink and relax while he's tr...
Blue light flashing in my heart tonight
Telling me that I'm alright and will be for some time
Leave me now, playing on a radio
Leave me for the friends you know I'll only break your heart
Sundays, I remember you
With your sleepy eyes shading pale blue
My baby's gone and everybody knows
The fever hit me in my fingers and through my toes
This baby's gone, yeah boy you know it shows
This baby's gone
Will I see you again another time, time, when?
When I knew you my heart was in bends
And I know I never said "Goodbye"
But boys like you don't ever cry
Don't speak the smile is sliding down my cheek
I only came here to get what I need
White light blinding my way tonight
Will you remember me like I was?
'Cause my baby's gone and everybody knows
The fever hit me in my fingers and through my toes
This baby's gone, yeah boy you know it shows
This baby's gone
Will I see you again another time, time, when?
When I knew you my heart was in bends
And I know I never said "Goodbye"
But boys like you don't ever cry
My baby's gone, yeah boy you know it shows
This baby's gone
Will I see you again another time, time when?
When I knew you my heart was in bends
And I know I never said "Goodbye"
