Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in the mid-1980s in Krefeld, West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Blind Guardian is a part of the German heavy metal scene that emerged in the mid-1980s.
The band's lyrics, written by vocalist Hansi Kürsch, are inspired by the fiction of fantasy authors such as J. R. R. Tolkien, Michael Moorcock, Robert Jordan and George R. R. Martin as well as traditional legends and epics. Over the years, a running theme has developed personifying the band members as travelling bards, leading some fans to refer to the band affectionately as "The Bards".
Blind Guardian was formed in 1984 in Krefeld, Germany, by Hansi Kürsch (vocals, bass) and Andre Olbrich (guitar) under the name Lucifer's Heritage. The band first released two demos in 1985 and 1986, despite undergoing chaotic lineup changes: Markus Dörk (guitar) and Thomen Stauch (drums) were replaced by Christof Theißen and Hans-Peter Frey, respectively. Finally, in 1987, Marcus Siepen joined and Thomen came back to form the lineup which would stay consistent for the next 18 years.

Destiny SOLO NIGHTFALL: DARK BLADE - How to Complete NIGHTFALL SOLO 4/19. You start off on the Dreadnaught, and will run through corridors and end up underground in the first room. Fight from the doorway and you should find it to be less difficult. Clear the main courtyard, make your way right or left to the second courtyard. The first wave of enemies aren’t too hard to take down, but the second set uses Void shields. Use your elemental weapon to destroy their shields, switch to your primary weapon, and start slaughtering them. The next room is the Asylum. In this room, you will need to go to the left and right to deactivate the totems in order to move on to the next stage of the fight. In order to do this, stand at the balcony overlooking the room and clear out all the enemies in front of you. Use your elevated position to your advantage and try to take the Wizards out from a distance. Once the totems are deactivated, more enemies will appear in the central corridor, and especially in the central chamber. Again, take your time and try to take the enemies out with ranged weapons. Try not to fight enemies up close unless you are a high enough level. Once the main waves of enemies are dealt with, the back doors will open and more enemies will flood in. However, you don’t need to fight them. If you have a Nightstalker on your team with the ability to use Vanishing Smoke, turn the team invisible and run through the room, skipping all enemies. Once running past these enemies in the corridors, another door will need to opened into the next room. Things get more hectic from here. Those used to running a different variant of this room would be wise not to use the same tactics as before. Stand at the back of the doorway after someone runs in to activate the room. The door will not close upon backing out, so stand back there and throw every ranged attack you have at enemies in the room. You still won’t be completely safe: Taken Captains will use fire attacks which can come out the doorway, but at least there won’t be any enemies spawning behind you. After defeating this set of enemies, the last room is in front of you is called the Hanging Crypts. It’s the last room before you get to Darkblade. There are quite a lot of pillars in this room for enemies to hide behind as well as a lot of Shriekers. At the top of the stairs, start picking these guys off one by one starting with the one on the left. Once defeated, take out the next one. Hit it, back out of the room, let it throw its attack at you from your safe spot, and then go back in and hit him. Continue doing this until the Shrieker is dead. At this point, go further into the room and on the stairs there will be walls you can use for cover. You will no longer need to hit and run at this point. Once all Shriekers are defeated, the back door opens and more enemies come through. Finally, once all enemies are defeated you will go through a door to fight Darkblade. The boss fights in the dark, and carries a massive axe which will kill you in one hit. Since he can appear out of the dark, try to kite him when possible in order keep from being one-hitted. Keep the team spread out at all times because he can spawn on top of all of you at once, and wack everyone at the same time. Then, it’s a wipe. Pay attention to your radar as it will show where Darkblade is about to spawn in. At this point jump out of the way because it is better than running. Jumping will cause you to take less damage should he slam his axe upon spawning. Thrall and Curse will arrive to aid Darkblade, so when this happens, shift your focus on the adds instead of the main boss. Stay out of his way while you do this, and upon the adds being defeated, start back in on Darkblade. Once he has been hit enough, his helmet will fall off and this makes him faster so be careful with your jumps – especially floating jumps – because he can still get you. Destiny SOLO NIGHTFALL: DARK BLADE - How to Complete NIGHTFALL SOLO 4/19. You start off on the Dreadnaught, and will run through corridors and end up undergroun...
Destiny SOLO NIGHTFALL: DARK BLADE - How to Complete NIGHTFALL SOLO 4/19. You start off on the Dreadnaught, and will run through corridors and end up underground in the first room. Fight from the doorway and you should find it to be less difficult. Clear the main courtyard, make your way right or left to the second courtyard. The first wave of enemies aren’t too hard to take down, but the second set uses Void shields. Use your elemental weapon to destroy their shields, switch to your primary weapon, and start slaughtering them.
The next room is the Asylum. In this room, you will need to go to the left and right to deactivate the totems in order to move on to the next stage of the fight. In order to do this, stand at the balcony overlooking the room and clear out all the enemies in front of you. Use your elevated position to your advantage and try to take the Wizards out from a distance. Once the totems are deactivated, more enemies will appear in the central corridor, and especially in the central chamber. Again, take your time and try to take the enemies out with ranged weapons. Try not to fight enemies up close unless you are a high enough level.
Once the main waves of enemies are dealt with, the back doors will open and more enemies will flood in. However, you don’t need to fight them. If you have a Nightstalker on your team with the ability to use Vanishing Smoke, turn the team invisible and run through the room, skipping all enemies.
Once running past these enemies in the corridors, another door will need to opened into the next room. Things get more hectic from here. Those used to running a different variant of this room would be wise not to use the same tactics as before. Stand at the back of the doorway after someone runs in to activate the room. The door will not close upon backing out, so stand back there and throw every ranged attack you have at enemies in the room. You still won’t be completely safe: Taken Captains will use fire attacks which can come out the doorway, but at least there won’t be any enemies spawning behind you.
After defeating this set of enemies, the last room is in front of you is called the Hanging Crypts. It’s the last room before you get to Darkblade. There are quite a lot of pillars in this room for enemies to hide behind as well as a lot of Shriekers. At the top of the stairs, start picking these guys off one by one starting with the one on the left. Once defeated, take out the next one. Hit it, back out of the room, let it throw its attack at you from your safe spot, and then go back in and hit him. Continue doing this until the Shrieker is dead. At this point, go further into the room and on the stairs there will be walls you can use for cover. You will no longer need to hit and run at this point. Once all Shriekers are defeated, the back door opens and more enemies come through.
Finally, once all enemies are defeated you will go through a door to fight Darkblade. The boss fights in the dark, and carries a massive axe which will kill you in one hit. Since he can appear out of the dark, try to kite him when possible in order keep from being one-hitted. Keep the team spread out at all times because he can spawn on top of all of you at once, and wack everyone at the same time. Then, it’s a wipe. Pay attention to your radar as it will show where Darkblade is about to spawn in. At this point jump out of the way because it is better than running. Jumping will cause you to take less damage should he slam his axe upon spawning.
Thrall and Curse will arrive to aid Darkblade, so when this happens, shift your focus on the adds instead of the main boss. Stay out of his way while you do this, and upon the adds being defeated, start back in on Darkblade. Once he has been hit enough, his helmet will fall off and this makes him faster so be careful with your jumps – especially floating jumps – because he can still get you. Hold on to your heavy ammo until this point, and it’s best to save your Juggler until this point as well.

Use your elevated position to your advantage and try to take the Wizards out from a distance. Once the totems are deactivated, more enemies will appear in the central corridor, and especially in the central chamber. Again, take your time and try to take the enemies out with ranged weapons. Try not to fight enemies up close unless you are a high enough level.
Once the main waves of enemies are dealt with, the back doors will open and more enemies will flood in. However, you don’t need to fight them. If you have a Nightstalker on your team with the ability to use Vanishing Smoke, turn the team invisible and run through the room, skipping all enemies.
Once running past these enemies in the corridors, another door will need to opened into the next room. Things get more hectic from here. Those used to running a different variant of this room would be wise not to use the same tactics as before. Stand at the back of the doorway after someone runs in to activate the room. The door will not close upon backing out, so stand back there and throw every ranged attack you have at enemies in the room. You still won’t be completely safe: Taken Captains will use fire attacks which can come out the doorway, but at least there won’t be any enemies spawning behind you.
After defeating this set of enemies, the last room is in front of you is called the Hanging Crypts. It’s the last room before you get to Darkblade. There are quite a lot of pillars in this room for enemies to hide behind as well as a lot of Shriekers. At the top of the stairs, start picking these guys off one by one starting with the one on the left. Once defeated, take out the next one. Hit it, back out of the room, let it throw its attack at you from your safe spot, and then go back in and hit him. Continue doing this until the Shrieker is dead. At this point, go further into the room and on the stairs there will be walls you can use for cover. You will no longer need to hit and run at this point. Once all Shriekers are defeated, the back door opens and more enemies come through.
Finally, once all enemies are defeated you will go through a door to fight Darkblade. The boss fights in the dark, and carries a massive axe which will kill you in one hit. Since he can appear out of the dark, try to kite him when possible in order keep from being one-hitted. Keep the team spread out at all times because he can spawn on top of all of you at once, and wack everyone at the same time. Then, it’s a wipe. Pay attention to your radar as it will show where Darkblade is about to spawn in. At this point jump out of the way because it is better than running. Jumping will cause you to take less damage should he slam his axe upon spawning.
Thrall and Curse will arrive to aid Darkblade, so when this happens, shift your focus on the adds instead of the main boss. Stay out of his way while you do this, and upon the adds being defeated, start back in on Darkblade. Once he has been hit enough, his helmet will fall off and this makes him faster so be careful with your jumps – especially floating jumps – because he can still get you. Hold on to your heavy ammo until this point, and it’s best to save your Juggler until this point as well.

Destiny SOLO NIGHTFALL: Fallen S.A.B.E.R - How to Complete NIGHTFALL SOLO 12/2
Fallen S.A.B.E.R. opens in Forgotten Shore, but players must use their Sparrows to quickly reach the Grottos to begin. Once in the Grottos, Rasputin will drop a WARSAT with the necessary codes for players to move forward. Naturally, the Fallen aren’t too fond of that idea, and so begins the action.
Fallen enemies will be attacking from every angle, so it’s best to quickly get off the path and find a decent bit of cover. Leave one fireteam member by the WARSAT to maintain transmission, while the rest of the team dispatch enemies. Each time there’s a lull in the waves of attacking enemies, make sure the whole team meets at the WARSAT to speed up the transmission until the next round of bad guys appear.
There is a time limit on the WARSAT transmission, but it’s nothing to worry about, as it offers plenty of time for the fireteam to complete the transmission. Once the transmission reaches 100 percent, kill the remaining enemies and head toward the bunker as directed.

Disrupt Raputin Defenses Destiny Strike
Guardians will make their way through a cave into Rasputin’s complex. This area will likely look familiar, as it was discovered last week by an adventuring Guardian who glitched into the complex. Of course, at the time there were no friends or foes, but that’s all changed now. Once inside the complex, players will be prompted to defeat Rasputin’s defenses – a handful of enemies who don’t put up much of a fight. Naturally, those defenses wouldn’t have done much to protect Rasputin against the other enemies in the Cosmodrome, which players can bet are on their way to find Rasputin.
Once the enemies are dead, head to the end of the room and throw a grenade into the small opening. When the explosive goes off, move back across the room and head through the small openings on the wall. Be sure to take out the enemies guarding the entrances. Shoot out the grates on the ground and drop down.
Move through the two-track hallway, keeping clear of the electric currents moving the opposite way. It’s best to use the open spaces in the middle of the track to avoid the currents as they go by. At the end of the hallway, duck into the alcove on the right hand side. One Guardian will grab the relic and head back down the hallway.
While that Guardian gets the relic, the rest of the team should hang out about halfway down the hallway to dispatch enemies while the relic-carrier takes it nice and easy. With the right amount of teamwork and coordination, this part should be over quickly. Just be sure not to get blown up by the exploding Shanks.

Beating the S.A.B.E.R.-2 Boss
SABER 2 Destiny Strike
The fireteam will face off against two Servitors once inside the room, but they shouldn’t present much of a problem. Work together and take them out.
Once the Servitors are dead, the Strike boss, S.A.B.E.R.-2, arrives ready to demolish the fireteam. S.A.B.E.R.-2 is basically a giant Shank, albeit with more health and a few tricks up its sleeve.
As players face off with the Shank, the boss will alter the area around the players, giving himself an advantage. Make sure to follow the warning messages on the bottom left side of the screen and make any needed adjustments in order to stay safe and continue attacking. Above all else: communicate. The purpose of S.A.B.E.R.-2’s tactics will be to shake up the fireteam and disrupt their ability to work together, giving the boss an advantage in the battle. So be sure to maintain an open connection and coordinate together.
Additionally, the boss will call for reinforcements to help him defeat the Guardians. These enemies will come in all forms, from snipers to turrets to more exploding Shanks. Make sure to communicate with fireteam members about where they’re coming from and when to avoid them.
Be sure to use cover whenever possible to avoid the boss’ wrath, and stick together so the team can quickly and easily revive fellow fireteam members when they die. Things can go south rather quickly once Guardians start dying.
Make sure to use as much heavy firepower against S.A.B.E.R.-2 as possible. This includes grenades, supers, and rocket launchers. Using these will help the team defeat the boss quickly and collect their reward.

Destiny SOLO NIGHTFALL: Fallen S.A.B.E.R - How to Complete NIGHTFALL SOLO 12/2
Fallen S.A.B.E.R. opens in Forgotten Shore, but players must use their Sparrows to quickly reach the Grottos to begin. Once in the Grottos, Rasputin will drop a WARSAT with the necessary codes for players to move forward. Naturally, the Fallen aren’t too fond of that idea, and so begins the action.
Fallen enemies will be attacking from every angle, so it’s best to quickly get off the path and find a decent bit of cover. Leave one fireteam member by the WARSAT to maintain transmission, while the rest of the team dispatch enemies. Each time there’s a lull in the waves of attacking enemies, make sure the whole team meets at the WARSAT to speed up the transmission until the next round of bad guys appear.
There is a time limit on the WARSAT transmission, but it’s nothing to worry about, as it offers plenty of time for the fireteam to complete the transmission. Once the transmission reaches 100 percent, kill the remaining enemies and head toward the bunker as directed.
Enter the Bunker
Disrupt Raputin Defenses Destiny Strike
Guardians will make their way through a cave into Rasputin’s complex. This area will likely look familiar, as it was discovered last week by an adventuring Guardian who glitched into the complex. Of course, at the time there were no friends or foes, but that’s all changed now. Once inside the complex, players will be prompted to defeat Rasputin’s defenses – a handful of enemies who don’t put up much of a fight. Naturally, those defenses wouldn’t have done much to protect Rasputin against the other enemies in the Cosmodrome, which players can bet are on their way to find Rasputin.
Once the enemies are dead, head to the end of the room and throw a grenade into the small opening. When the explosive goes off, move back across the room and head through the small openings on the wall. Be sure to take out the enemies guarding the entrances. Shoot out the grates on the ground and drop down.
Move through the two-track hallway, keeping clear of the electric currents moving the opposite way. It’s best to use the open spaces in the middle of the track to avoid the currents as they go by. At the end of the hallway, duck into the alcove on the right hand side. One Guardian will grab the relic and head back down the hallway.
While that Guardian gets the relic, the rest of the team should hang out about halfway down the hallway to dispatch enemies while the relic-carrier takes it nice and easy. With the right amount of teamwork and coordination, this part should be over quickly. Just be sure not to get blown up by the exploding Shanks.
