In the field of industrial automation, Keba focuses on automation of machines and mobile automation. Keba develops and produces control systems and mobile terminals. In the field of automation of machines, Keba has solutions like the KemroPlast for injection molding or KemroMotion for the robotic systems.
Twenty percent of the turnover was spent in research and development. That quote is the basic for new products like the KePol - paket machines, where it is possible to receive or mail packets 24/7. Seven hundred of these stations were placed Germany-wide for the Deutsche Post. Similar KEBA-manufactured systems were built up in Denmark and Austria.
For the field of bank and service automation, Keba develops and manufactures solutions for money industry, paket logistic and the lottery companies. During a perennial research period a product family which can handle all bank routine transactions, like deposits, payments, transfers and payment slip transactions, was built up. Since 1992 Keba uses a special "recycling system", which makes it possible to create a money cycle in the machine. That means in the KePlus R6 and the KePlus X6 coins and banknotes may be given out after they were paid in.

Istanbul Travels | Eating Kebab (2 of 10)
(Video links below) In this video, the Ericksons visit a rather touristy kebab restaurant in Istanbul and includes a few other places. It was not bad food but not as good as some of the others visited - just easy to video the steps of kebab preparation. These are in some of the other videos and I can send you the names. The best is briefly shown here - it's the one with the coal burning heat not the more common electric. Yummy stuff! Hope you enjoy. When it comes to street food in Berlin I'm pleased to say you've got plenty of options to choose from. My personal two favorites are Currywurst and Doner Kebab. The latter one has a lot to do with the large Turkish population in the city. What is fascinating is that this Turkish staple has been perfected with German taste buds in mind. Yes, you get your lamb/chicken and typical fixings (lettuce, tomatoes); however, toppings such as cabbage, onions and grilled veggies also make an appearance. This was our first trip to Poland and we dove into the capital headfirst. While our travels may have started in the charming Old Town, it wasn't long before we discovered that Warsaw has a cool artsy side. We visited bright neon museums in the art district, shopped in boutiques selling soviet-chic apparel, and got to experience the capital's legendary nightlife. It many ways it was a whirlwind visit, but it was also a fun introduction that made us curious to discover more of Poland in our future travels. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.
We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.
This is part of our Travel in Poland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Polish culture, Polish arts, Polish foods, Polish religion, Polish cuisine and Polish people.

On Day 4 of our trip to Jordan, we started off in Amman where we had a wonderful simple and local style breakfast of manakish, which are rounds of dough which are flattened, topped with simple things like zaatar and cheese, and baked in an oven. We then took a day trip to As-Salt or also just known as Salt, a historical city about a 45 minute drive from the center of Amman. The highlight of the day for me was the giant shish kebab meat platter that we ate for lunch!
00:38 Manakish - Manakish is something you’ll eat a lot of when you visit the Levant and in Jordan it’s a very popular snack and meal. Manakish is a piece of rounded dough which is flattened out and topped in a variety of different things. We ordered a manakish topped with zaatar, a special herb thyme blend, and also a couple topped with Jordanian white cheese, which is similar to halloumi cheese. They were all excellent mainly because they were baked so fresh and just used simple but delicious ingredients. Price - 1 JD ($1.41) each
04:20 Day to to As-Salt, Historic Old Salt Museum - 1 JD ($1.41) - Out main activity of the day was taking a short day trip to Salt, an ancient and historical city that was one of the commercial and trade centers of Jordan. We started off at the Historic Salt Museum, where we had a tour and learned a little bit about the importance of the city and how it influenced and shaped Jordan. We then took a stroll through Hamam street, the center old market street in Salt.
07:27 Al-Salam Restaurant - For lunch we went to a Jordanian meat bbq restaurant in the center of Salt called Al-Salam Restaurant. The first dish I tasted was the hummus ma lahma, a plate of hummus topped with minced meat fried in lard - it took hummus to the next level - it was absolutely incredible. Then came galayet with meat, a thick tomato based dish with minced meat in it as well. It was delicious with bread. From there, this Jordanian meal just got better and better. Arayes is a dish of bread stuffed with minced lamb and seasoning, then grilled over charcoal. The fat from the lamb makes the bread nearly taste like it’s deep fried because it gets so crispy, yet it’s merely grilled - and it was insanely delicious. But the ultimate winner of our Jordanian meat feast this time was the platter of shish kebabs and lamb pieces. The minced meat was mixed with parsley and seasoning, salted quite heavily, then grilled over hot charcoal. The mix and ratio of meat to fat ensured that the meat had an incredibly pronounced smoky taste. Total price - 25 JD ($35.26) for 4
14:01 Anabtawi Sweets - For dessert we took a walk down the road to a famous Jordanian sweets shop called Anabtawi Sweets, where Fadi ordered a mix of different desserts including hareeseh, one of the famous desserts, cream fingers, and warbat. They were all very sweet, but alright in small portions - I’m not a huge desserts lover. My favorite dessert was probably the warbat, it was kind of a cross between a cheese cake and baklava. What I really enjoyed about eating this dessert is the Arabic coffee that went with it. After having this cup of Arabic coffee, I was immediately hooked.
17:26 Thyme & More - Although it was unplanned at first, we decided to stop by a place called Thyme & More to taste some different and unique varieties of za’atar, a thyme and herb blend that’s very common in Jordan, and something I really loved eating. We tasted some incredible za’atar, and then the owner kindly invited us to have dinner at his restaurant where he served us some pizza and a giant calzone.

When it comes to street food in Berlin I'm pleased to say you've got plenty of options to choose from. My personal two favorites are Currywurst and Doner Kebab. The latter one has a lot to do with the large Turkish population in the city.
What is fascinating is that this Turkish staple has been perfected with German taste buds in mind. Yes, you get your lamb/chicken and typical fixings (lettuce, tomatoes); however, toppings such as cabbage, onions and grilled veggies also make an appearance. It's one of the tastiest and cheapest snacks around.
Find one inside of a metro station or street corner. Have you tried a doner kebab before?

So we have made it to Berlin and that means today we are going to introduce you to a really popular fast food snack that you can get here in the city - the Döner Kebab.
So doner kebab. You're probably thinking isn't that Turkish? And yes, it is Turkish but Germany has a huge Turkish population and that means that they brought their recipes and their food over and they've actually adapted the doner kebab to fit the German taste when it comes to the cuisine. So this would be considered a German doner kebab, so I'm going to bite right in because this looks so good and we've been filming it for too long. We sure have. Let's bite here.
Messy.
So so good. I'm losing toppings. And there is a bee trying to steal my food.
So the place where we picked it up you could choose from a number of different toppings. They had chicken and veal and they had it right on that big rump where you know they're shaving it off. A skewer!
Oh, the skewer it is so good.
And I'll show you some of the toppings here if you take a look. So you have things like tomatoes, lettuce, other things like that. Of course this is the chicken. But what makes it kind of unique for Germany here is that it has cabbage. Cabbage and onions. And onions too. Because Germans really like that. Yeah.
Alright, time for my first bite. Oh my gosh. He dropped it all over the place. All over the place. I have an onion on my wrist.
Is it good? Yeah, it is really good.
And the nice thing is that this is a really cheap meal. And you can share it with someone.
So another thing I'm noticing while I'm eating this. Is that the donair kebab actually has grilled veggies. And that is not something I've ever had anywhere else before.
So I'm kind of wondering if that is also one of the German adaptations or if it is done in Turkey.
And in terms of the sauces. You can get a really hot and spicy sauce. They have a few different herb sauces, garlic sauce and a yogurt based sauce. So lots of variety there.
Yeah, I'm just going to get back to eating this because it is so good.
We ended up getting the hot sauce.
Yeah.
And price point for that delicious doner kebab. So that was only 3.50 Euros and what is really cool about this is that you can find these kebabs almost everywhere. We picked this one up at a metro station. You can also find them on the street. And we highly recommend you go out and grab one while you're in Berlin.

This doner kebab is a classic Turkish Food, a favourite of Istanbul locals. There is so many istanbul foods to try, but this one was one of my first. It was juicy and dripping red juice as the chef cut away layer after layer of heavenly lamb. You can find this as a turkish street food on the corners or you can have it at high class restaurants overlooking the city. I went for the middleground, and went to an average place that was recommended by a local friend.
In actuality, he told me that he has had better doner, but we had to settle for this one because the place with the best doner was closed for ramadan. As my first try of doner kebab and one of my first tries of Istanbul food, I was really happy with the outcome. Juicy, nice lamb flavour, just the right amount of fat, a little crunchy from pickles, and a good amount of mayo to give it that nice extra kick. BOOM!
The only complaint I had was the wrap was a little too much bread, I like a full mouthful of meat and less bread, but this had like half and half.
This restaurant was in besiktas. The famous place for doner that we wanted to go was here:
Karadeniz Pide ve Döner, Beşiktaş Merkez
This place was right across the street from it.
