"Where Were You" is a song recorded by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler for her eighth studio album Bitterblue (1991). It was released in 1992 by Hansa Records. As the third single from the album, it followed the success of "Bitterblue" and "Against the Wind". The song was written by Albert Hammond and Holly Knight, and produced by Roy Bittan. The lyrics depict Tyler asking her lover where they were when she needed support.
"Where Were You" failed to chart internationally, making it the least successful of the three singles from Bitterblue.
"Where Were You" was first recorded by Albert Hammond on his 1989 album Best of Me. Tyler recorded the album two years later for her 1991 album Bitterblue.
Tyler performed the song live while touring her 1992 album Angel Heart in Germany. One of the dates in Frankfurt was recorded and released on a DVD and CD entitled Live in Germany 1993, released in 2011.
Alan Walker may refer to:
The Life of the Party is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Neal McCoy. Released in 1999, it contains the singles "I Was" and "The Girls of Summer", which peaked at #37 and #42, respectively, on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts that year. "Straighten up and Fly Right" is a cover of a Nat King Cole song.
"In Love" is a song written by Mike Reid and Bruce Dees, and recorded by American country music artist Ronnie Milsap. It was released in June 1986 as the third single from the album Lost in the Fifties Tonight.
"In Love" was Milsap's 44th single to be released, and his 29th No. 1 hit on the Billboard country charts. The song came during the peak of his success as country music singer as it was part of an uninterrupted string of several No. 1 hits to his credit.
The song was also one of several songs written by songwriter Reid which became major hits for Milsap.
In romantic relationships, falling in love is the concept of moving from a feeling of neutrality towards a person to one of love.
The use of the term "fall" implies that the process is in some way uncontrollable and risky - as in the phrases "to fall ill" or "to fall into a trap" - and that it leaves the lover in a state of vulnerability.
It may also reflect the importance of the lower brain centers in the process, which can lead the rational, accounting brain to conclude (in John Cleese's words) that "this falling in love routine is very bizarre....It borders on the occult".
"Factors known to contribute strongly to falling in love include proximity, similarity, reciprocity, and physical attractiveness", while at the same time, the process involves a re-activation of old childhood patterns of attachment. Deep-set psychological parallels between two people may also underpin their pairing-bonding, which can thus border on mere narcissistic identification".

The first time I saw you I knew I was falling too fast You reassured me that what we were feeling would last So I held you close in my arms Then I surrendered my heart Just like a storybook romance you played me so well And the more I believed you, the harder I fell Something was missing inside And when I opened my eyes Where were you? Where was I? When our world started crumbling I searched for a reason why I looked deep in my heart Trying to find I can remember the passion that burned in your eyes I can't bear that another feels that passion tonight While I sit alone in the dark My life is falling apart Where were you? Where was I? When our world started crumbling I searched for a reason why I looked deep in my heart Trying to find A reason you'd take all my...
Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning) by Alan Jackson with lyrics. I do not own this song. ***Please, out of respect for others, keep any rude or unnecessary comments to yourself. Thank you***
When we had our little love affair Can still recall the day Where are you now, what is left of our love You can't let it vanish this way Where were you that day Where were you When I needed you Don't be a pretender, why won't you surrender You know you get the best out of me Where were you When I needed you Forget all the sad lines, think of the good times I know that we can make it somehow So where are you now... What is left of all the things you said Of all the love and care you've showed me Here I am and I'm just feeling bad 'Cause I don't know where I'm going Don't walk out on me this way It's so easy so tell me where were you that day Where were you (Where were you when I needed you) When I needed you (oehoehoe) Just try to remember, I'm not an amender I...
All Instruments-Stevie Wonder Music of My Mind is a landmark album by Stevie Wonder, released on March 3, 1972 when Wonder was only 21 years old. Many observers count this album as the beginning of Wonder's "classic period", though others look to the previous one or the following one. It is his fourteenth studio release. Wonder returned to Motown in March 1972 with Music of My Mind. Unlike most previous albums on Motown, which usually consisted of a collection of singles, B-sides and covers, Music of My Mind was a full-length artistic statement with songs flowing together thematically. Wonder's lyrics dealt with social, political, and mystical themes as well as standard romantic ones, while musically Wonder began exploring overdubbing and recording most of the instrumental pa...
Where were you
When I wanted you to love me through the night?
Where were you
When I wanted you to love and hold me tight?
Where were you, little darlin'
When you said to pick you up after school?
I know where, little lady,
'cause my mama didn't raise no fool.
Yeah.
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
I know where, baby,
you been runnin' 'round loose on the side.
I know where, little lady,
you been runnin' 'round with something to hide.
I don't mind, darlin', if you're feelin' fancy and free.
I don't mind, little baby,
cause your sister's lookin' real good to me.
Hey,
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
I didn't know what the hell was goin' on,
Someday you're gonna break.
So don't try to get yourself straight,
You're just a little too late.
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Where were you?
