La famille Meulemans, le père, la mère et leur fils Arthur ont décidé, comme tout bon commerçant bruxellois qui se respecte, d'aller visiter l'exposition de Paris. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Gaby est l'amie du duc de la Paufirpée et, à l'insu du duc, tous ses domestiques font partie de la bande de gangsters. En plus, cette bande compte, Julot, fakir à l'exposition, et Jacques de Mironval, un faux vicomte, qui a fait la rencontre d'une riche américaine du sud, Anita Rio Santo, en qui il espère une proie facile.
Au cours de la visite de l'exposition Arthur s'est égaré. Les Meulemans s'empressent de le faire appeler par T.S.F. au commissariat, où ils font la connaissance d'une famille marseillaise, les Barbaroux, qui ont aussi perdu leur fille. Les Barbaroux, coiffeurs à Marseille, sont venus à Paris encaisser un lot de 250.000 francs de la loterie coloniale et ils en ont profité pour visiter l'exposition.
Lorsque les enfants sont venus les rejoindre, les deux familles visitent de concert les différents pavillons. Arthur, qui a rendez-vous avec Gaby, entraîne tout le monde dans un café proche du lieu de la rencontre et trouve le moyen d'amener Meulemans à délivrer Gaby d'une prétendue attaque d'un apache qui voulait lui ravir sa sacoche. Ce fait rapprochera des Meulemans et des Barbaroux, Gaby et son soi-disant père, qui se fait passer pour ambassadeur d'Amérique.
A titre de reconnaissance Jim Clarck invite tout le monde à dîner dans un restaurant chic, puis leur fait faire la tournée des Grands Ducs. Gaby est parvenue facilement à savoir ce que contiennent les portefeuilles de Meulemans et de Barbaroux.
On visite ensemble les attractions où se passent quantités de scènes cocasses, où se mélangent les dialectes bruxellois et marseillais si savoureux l'un et l'autre.
Le lendemain nos héros se retrouvent à l'hôtel du duc, que Gaby a adroitement envoyé à Nice. On fait passer l'hôtel pour l'ambassade d'Amérique et les gangsters inspirent, tant aux Bruxellois qu'aux Marseillais, une telle confiance qu'ils finiront par déposer l'argent qu'ils détiennent dans le coffre-fort de la soi-disant ambassade.
Les gangsters toutefois s'étaient trompés sur Anita l'américaine, qui en réalité était une indicatrice de la police, et c'est au moment où la bande allait s'enfuir avec l'argent déposé à “l'ambassade" que la police, conduite par Anita, les arrête.
Tout finira en gaîté à l'exposition et les deux familles resserrant leurs liens d'amitiés envisageront l'union du nord et du midi en caressant l'idée du mariage d'Arthur Meulemans avec Odette Barbaroux.

La famille Meulemans, le père, la mère et leur fils Arthur ont décidé, comme tout bon commerçant bruxellois qui se respecte, d'aller visiter l'exposition de Paris. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Gaby est l'amie du duc de la Paufirpée et, à l'insu du duc, tous ses domestiques font partie de la bande de gangsters. En plus, cette bande compte, Julot, fakir à l'exposition, et Jacques de Mironval, un faux vicomte, qui a fait la rencontre d'une riche américaine du sud, Anita Rio Santo, en qui il espère une proie facile. Au cours de la visite de l'exposition Arthur s'est égaré. Les Meulemans s'empressent de le faire appeler par T.S.F. au commissariat, où ils font la connaissance d'une famille marseillaise, les Barbaroux, qui ont aussi perdu leur fille. Arthur, qui a rendez-vous avec Gaby, entraîne tout le monde dans un café proche du lieu de la rencontre et trouve le moyen d'amener Meulemans à délivrer Gaby d'une prétendue attaque d'un apache qui voulait lui ravir sa sacoche. La famille Meulemans, le père, la mère et leur fils Arthur ont décidé, comme tout bon commerçant bruxellois qui se respecte, d'aller visiter l'exposition de Paris. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Gaby est l'amie du duc de la Paufirpée et, à l'insu du duc, tous ses domestiques font partie de la bande de gangsters. En plus, cette bande compte, Julot, fakir à l'exposition, et Jacques de Mironval, un faux vicomte, qui a fait la rencontre d'une riche américaine du sud, Anita Rio Santo, en qui il espère une proie facile.
Au cours de la visite de l'exposition Arthur s'est égaré. Les Meulemans s'empressent de le faire appeler par T.S.F. au commissariat, où ils font la connaissance d'une famille marseillaise, les Barbaroux, qui ont aussi perdu leur fille. Les Barbaroux, coiffeurs à Marseille, sont venus à Paris encaisser un lot de 250.000 francs de la loterie coloniale et ils en ont profité pour visiter l'exposition.
Lorsque les enfants sont venus les rejoindre, les deux familles visitent de concert les différents pavillons. Arthur, qui a rendez-vous avec Gaby, entraîne tout le monde dans un café proche du lieu de la rencontre et trouve le moyen d'amener Meulemans à délivrer Gaby d'une prétendue attaque d'un apache qui voulait lui ravir sa sacoche. Ce fait rapprochera des Meulemans et des Barbaroux, Gaby et son soi-disant père, qui se fait passer pour ambassadeur d'Amérique.
A titre de reconnaissance Jim Clarck invite tout le monde à dîner dans un restaurant chic, puis leur fait faire la tournée des Grands Ducs. Gaby est parvenue facilement à savoir ce que contiennent les portefeuilles de Meulemans et de Barbaroux.
On visite ensemble les attractions où se passent quantités de scènes cocasses, où se mélangent les dialectes bruxellois et marseillais si savoureux l'un et l'autre.
Le lendemain nos héros se retrouvent à l'hôtel du duc, que Gaby a adroitement envoyé à Nice. On fait passer l'hôtel pour l'ambassade d'Amérique et les gangsters inspirent, tant aux Bruxellois qu'aux Marseillais, une telle confiance qu'ils finiront par déposer l'argent qu'ils détiennent dans le coffre-fort de la soi-disant ambassade.

In 16th century Prague, Rabbi Loew (Albert Steinruck) interprets an alignment of stars as a sign that disaster is about to befall the city's Jews. The following day, Emperor Luhois (Otto Gebuhr) bans Loew's people from Prague, prompting the rabbi to build a statue, known as the Golem (Paul Wegener), that he hopes to animate as a savior. Brought to life by an evil spirit, Astaroth, the creature is, at first, gentle and compassionate. That, however, quickly changes as the creature goes insane.

Under the nickname Wudec is hidden a music producer from Tychy, Łukasz Poleszak. He became intrested in electronic music and creating it by means of computers already in primary school, however the real breakthrough of his creativity came in 2013, when his friend (Adam „Attache” Dąbrowski) encouraged him to club permormances. In order to prepare for that he had taken part in Kuba Sojka’s classes and a week later he made his debut in INQubator club in Katowice.
At the beginning of 2014 the Cowshed Records released his debut album „Sleepwalker” , and on the opening night party, organised by „Projekt: Obudzić Sypialnię”, which was established by Wudec, played among others, The Illuminated from Netherlands. That year, Wudec also recorded and independendly released an enigmatic project „†Ω‡Ω†”, and „History Of Magic Eternal Trees” (EP), „Abandoned Hospital” (mixtape) and performed at some clubs at Śląsk as well.
He was seen by some promotors, thanks to which in November he stood on the stage next to Natalia Zamilska .
Another year had fasten the artist’s development and made him a recognisable figure on the electronic stage all over the country. In May 2015 „Open Doors” album had it’s premiere party with Kuba Sojka and Essex as a special guests. The album was independendly released by Wudec on CD. Two months later another openig night took place, „Lost in Space of Dreams” album , filled with dark ambient. Although Wudec had started playing more and more, not even for a second he had stopped creating in breaks during concerts ( at the Warsow’s Nowa Jerozolima , Cracow’s Kawiarnia Naukowa, Protokultura in Gdańsk etc.) In November 2015 in Wrocław he had organised a premiere of his another album „Path”.
In 2016 artist sped up. In January in Projekt Lab club in Poznań he stood on a stage next to Swedish duo Gidge and in March he came back to the same club to find himself performing once alongside Kuba Sojka and also Michał Jabłoński during the party , which Łukasz had organised by himself. Due to numerous concerts and the whole time produced music and organised parties under the Projekt: Obudzić Sypialnię sign, Wudec’s popularity had been progressively growing spreading an intrest around his work. In July 2016 the artist performed on festivals such as OldTown, Boski Fest and had also participated in A Rt+ festival in the Czech Cieszyn.
Still the biggest experience for him was the invitation he was given by the end of the month to Izmir in Turkey for a vast, few-days festival „Colours of Infinity”, where Wudec played next to producers from USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britan ,Germany, France, Swedan, Izrael, Turkey and all around the world- who ,among others, were Kaminanda, Kaya Project, Tara Putra, Hinkstep, Petra, Cezzers.
After returnig from Turkey artist sat down to creating a whole different project, which for Łukasz was something completely new . He took up composing and producing his first movie soundtrack. In a break he defenced his bachelor’s degree on Uniwerytet Śląski untitled „An evolution of rave culture an it’s image in the firt trend media” and recorded a dwo covers for the witch house mixtape „AOTEP” released by SoHo Palace (during the opening night Wudec had played in Cracow’s Prozak 2.0 club). On 14 October 2016 in Katowice Łukasz Poleszak organised a projecton of „Golem”- a movie of German expressionism from 1920 -with his own soundtrack, which was afterwards published by the artist on 17 October in form of an album called „Demortis”.
From 28-29 October Wudec organised, in an old factory in Katowice, above 40 hours rave - the tenth Obudzić Sypialnię edition called „Tantra of Shadows”, for which he had invited artists from all over Poland, Germany, Sweden, Argentina. During the party’s first day Wudec showed his authorial project, hidden till then, Tape Alienz. His performance, inspired by rave’s culture sound from 1988-1989, was taken very well by the people and filled the floor under the big stage. On the second day Wudec had the pleasure to play right after the Swedish duo SHXCXCHCXSH, that was invited to the party.

"The Golem: How He Came Into the World" (original German title: Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam) is a 1920 silent horror film co-directed by and starring Paul Wegener. The picture was directed by Carl Boese and Wegener, written by Wegener and Henrik Galeen, and stars Wegener as the golem.
The script was adapted from the 1915 novel The Golem by Gustav Meyrink, a highly recommended read for a number of reasons, all of which will become apparent on reading it. It's a book of amazing visions, subtext, occult knowledge and if a creative mind extracts excerpts from it for their own purposes, they will be very richly rewarded.
The film was the third of three films that Wegener made featuring the golem, the other two being The Golem (1915) and the short comedy The Golem and the Dancing Girl (1917), in which Wegener dons the Golem make-up in order to frighten a young lady he is infatuated with. It is a prequel to The Golem and is the best known of the series, largely because it is the only one of the three films that has not been lost.
Wegener had been unhappy with his previous attempt to tell the Golem story (Der Golem, 1915) due to compromises he had to make during its production. This second attempt is meant to more directly convey the legend as he heard it told in Prague while he was filming The Student of Prague (1913).
Architect, Hans Poelzig designed the sets, a reproduction of the medieval Jewish ghetto of Prague. He designed them specifically to be filmed, creating highly expressionist imagery. The cinematography of Karl Freund, in collaboration with Poelzig and Wegener, is cited as one of the most outstanding examples of German Expressionism.
The movie was remade in 1936 as Le Golem, which was directed by Julien Duvivier on location in Prague.
The reproductions of the Jewish ghetto show us an imagery of locations lost to us by war and change. It has been so completely lost to the modern mind and memory due to the passing of those that lived then and the suddenness in which it was all swept away.

Mit Rücksicht auf Pattas Eitelkeit rollt Brunetti den Fall heimlich auf und findet heraus, dass die Battestini ein wahrer Drachen war, der mit allen Nachbarn im Clinch lag. Außerdem hat sie bei mehreren Banken beträchtliche Konten, auf die aber immer nur kleine Summen eingezahlt wurden. Erbberechtigt ist ihre Nichte Graziella Simionato, die jedoch leer ausgeht: Roberta Marieschi, die gewiefte Anwältin der Witwe, hat das Geld unauffällig zur Seite geschafft.
Ein veritables Mordmotiv erkennt Brunetti jedoch nirgends. Auch Gabriel, der Sohn der rumänischen Putzfrau, der die Wahrheit über den Tod seiner Mutter herausfinden will, bringt Brunetti nicht weiter. Als Brunetti sich noch einmal genauer in der Wohnung der toten Witwe umsieht, findet er in einem Geheimversteck ein Dokument, mit dem Signora Battestini den Chef der Schulbehörde, Mauro Trotti, seit Jahren erpresste: Der ehrenwerte Dottore hat nämlich seinen Doktortitel gefälscht.
In dieser Folge der beliebten Donna-Leon-Verfilmungen hat der venezianische Ermittler es mit der ganz alltäglichen Boshaftigkeit der Menschen zu tun. Uwe Kockisch ("Die Mutter"; "Der Tunnel") überzeugt erneut in der Rolle des geduldigen aber auch schlitzohrigen Commissario, der in diesem Fall sehr diplomatisch vorgehen muss. Regisseur Sigi Rothemund und Kameramann Dragan Rogulj zeigen die schönen Seiten Venedigs ebenso wie den morbiden Charme der einzigartigen Lagunenstadt.

La famille Meulemans, le père, la mère et leur fils Arthur ont décidé, comme tout bon commerçant bruxellois qui se respecte, d'aller visiter l'exposition de Paris. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Gaby est l'amie du duc de la Paufirpée et, à l'insu du duc, tous ses domestiques font partie de la bande de gangsters. En plus, cette bande compte, Julot, fakir à l'exposition, et Jacques de Mironval, un faux vicomte, qui a fait la rencontre d'une riche américaine du sud, Anita Rio Santo, en qui il espère une proie facile.
Au cours de la visite de l'exposition Arthur s'est égaré. Les Meulemans s'empressent de le faire appeler par T.S.F. au commissariat, où ils font la connaissance d'une famille marseillaise, les Barbaroux, qui ont aussi perdu leur fille. Les Barbaroux, coiffeurs à Marseille, sont venus à Paris encaisser un lot de 250.000 francs de la loterie coloniale et ils en ont profité pour visiter l'exposition.
Lorsque les enfants sont venus les rejoindre, les deux familles visitent de concert les différents pavillons. Arthur, qui a rendez-vous avec Gaby, entraîne tout le monde dans un café proche du lieu de la rencontre et trouve le moyen d'amener Meulemans à délivrer Gaby d'une prétendue attaque d'un apache qui voulait lui ravir sa sacoche. Ce fait rapprochera des Meulemans et des Barbaroux, Gaby et son soi-disant père, qui se fait passer pour ambassadeur d'Amérique.
A titre de reconnaissance Jim Clarck invite tout le monde à dîner dans un restaurant chic, puis leur fait faire la tournée des Grands Ducs. Gaby est parvenue facilement à savoir ce que contiennent les portefeuilles de Meulemans et de Barbaroux.
On visite ensemble les attractions où se passent quantités de scènes cocasses, où se mélangent les dialectes bruxellois et marseillais si savoureux l'un et l'autre.
Le lendemain nos héros se retrouvent à l'hôtel du duc, que Gaby a adroitement envoyé à Nice. On fait passer l'hôtel pour l'ambassade d'Amérique et les gangsters inspirent, tant aux Bruxellois qu'aux Marseillais, une telle confiance qu'ils finiront par déposer l'argent qu'ils détiennent dans le coffre-fort de la soi-disant ambassade.
Les gangsters toutefois s'étaient trompés sur Anita l'américaine, qui en réalité était une indicatrice de la police, et c'est au moment où la bande allait s'enfuir avec l'argent déposé à “l'ambassade" que la police, conduite par Anita, les arrête.
Tout finira en gaîté à l'exposition et les deux familles resserrant leurs liens d'amitiés envisageront l'union du nord et du midi en caressant l'idée du mariage d'Arthur Meulemans avec Odette Barbaroux.

La famille Meulemans, le père, la mère et leur fils Arthur ont décidé, comme tout bon commerçant bruxellois qui se respecte, d'aller visiter l'exposition de Paris. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Dans le train Arthur fait la connaissance de Gaby, une jeune et jolie femme accompagnée d'un monsieur entre deux âges, Jim Clarck, type américain, sévère et distant. En réalité, Jim Clarck est le chef d'une bande de gangsters qui se sert de Gaby, qu'il fait passer pour sa fille, pour rabattre le gibier. Gaby est l'amie du duc de la Paufirpée et, à l'insu du duc, tous ses domestiques font partie de la bande de gangsters. En plus, cette bande compte, Julot, fakir à l'exposition, et Jacques de Mironval, un faux vicomte, qui a fait la rencontre d'une riche américaine du sud, Anita Rio Santo, en qui il espère une proie facile.
Au cours de la visite de l'exposition Arthur s'est égaré. Les Meulemans s'empressent de le faire appeler par T.S.F. au commissariat, où ils font la connaissance d'une famille marseillaise, les Barbaroux, qui ont aussi perdu leur fille. Les Barbaroux, coiffeurs à Marseille, sont venus à Paris encaisser un lot de 250.000 francs de la loterie coloniale et ils en ont profité pour visiter l'exposition.
Lorsque les enfants sont venus les rejoindre, les deux familles visitent de concert les différents pavillons. Arthur, qui a rendez-vous avec Gaby, entraîne tout le monde dans un café proche du lieu de la rencontre et trouve le moyen d'amener Meulemans à délivrer Gaby d'une prétendue attaque d'un apache qui voulait lui ravir sa sacoche. Ce fait rapprochera des Meulemans et des Barbaroux, Gaby et son soi-disant père, qui se fait passer pour ambassadeur d'Amérique.
A titre de reconnaissance Jim Clarck invite tout le monde à dîner dans un restaurant chic, puis leur fait faire la tournée des Grands Ducs. Gaby est parvenue facilement à savoir ce que contiennent les portefeuilles de Meulemans et de Barbaroux.
On visite ensemble les attractions où se passent quantités de scènes cocasses, où se mélangent les dialectes bruxellois et marseillais si savoureux l'un et l'autre.
Le lendemain nos héros se retrouvent à l'hôtel du duc, que Gaby a adroitement envoyé à Nice. On fait passer l'hôtel pour l'ambassade d'Amérique et les gangsters inspirent, tant aux Bruxellois qu'aux Marseillais, une telle confiance qu'ils finiront par déposer l'argent qu'ils détiennent dans le coffre-fort de la soi-disant ambassade.
Les gangsters toutefois s'étaient trompés sur Anita l'américaine, qui en réalité était une indicatrice de la police, et c'est au moment où la bande allait s'enfuir avec l'argent déposé à “l'ambassade" que la police, conduite par Anita, les arrête.
Tout finira en gaîté à l'exposition et les deux familles resserrant leurs liens d'amitiés envisageront l'union du nord et du midi en caressant l'idée du mariage d'Arthur Meulemans avec Odette Barbaroux.
