A surname or family name is a name added to a given name. In many cases, a surname is a family name and many dictionaries define "surname" as a synonym of "family name". In the western hemisphere, it is commonly synonymous with last name because it is usually placed at the end of a person's given name.
In most Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking countries, two or more last names (or surnames) may be used. In China, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Madagascar, Taiwan, Vietnam, and parts of India, the family name is placed before a person's given name.
The style of having both a family name (surname) and a given name (forename) is far from universal. In many countries, it is common for ordinary people to have only one name or mononym.
The concept of a "surname" is a relatively recent historical development, evolving from a medieval naming practice called a "byname". Based on an individual's occupation or area of residence, a byname would be used in situations where more than one person had the same name.
Donald Jay Fagen (born January 10, 1948) is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the co-founder (along with Walter Becker) and lead singer of the rock band Steely Dan.
Following the initial breakup of Steely Dan in 1981, Fagen launched a long-running, if sporadic, solo career in 1982, issuing four albums. In 1993 Fagen and Becker reunited and have since toured and released albums as Steely Dan.
Fagen was born in Passaic, New Jersey, on January 10, 1948, to Jewish parents, Joseph "Jerry" Fagen, an accountant, and his wife, Elinor, a homemaker, who had been a singer in upstate New York's Catskill Mountains when she was a child.. He has one sister, 6 years his junior. His first cousins Alan (actor, president of the Screen Actors Guild) and Mark Rosenberg (SDS leader and film producer, d. 1992) also grew up in Passaic.
Fagen's family moved from Passaic, first to the suburb of Fair Lawn around 1958, and then quickly moved and settled into a house on Bedford Road in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, New Jersey. The transition greatly upset him since he detested living in the suburbs. He would later recall to an interviewer that it "was like a prison. I think I lost faith in [my parents'] judgment... It was probably the first time I realized I had my own view of life." His life in Kendall Park, including his teenage love of late-night radio, later inspired tracks on his album The Nightfly.
The masculine given name Donald is a version of the Scottish Gaelic name Domhnall (and variants Dómhnall, Dòmhnall,Domhnull, and Dòmhnull), historically the standard Anglicization of the name in Scotland. The name is ultimately derived from the Proto-Celtic world elements dubno ("world") and val ("rule"). The final -d on Donald is partly derived from a misinterpretation of the Gaelic pronunciation by English-speakers, and partly associated with the spelling of similar sounding Germanic-language names, such as Ronald. A short form of Donald is Don. Pet forms of Donald include Donnie, Donny, and Dolly. The feminine given name Donella is derived from Donald.Donald has numerous other Celtic-language cognates: Irish Dónal (Anglicised as Donal and Donall),Old Irish Domnall, Welsh Dyfnwal, Old Welsh Dumngual, Cumbric Dumngual, and Common Celtic *Dumno-ualos ("world-wielder"). Although the feminine given name Donna is sometimes used as a feminine form of Donald, the names are not etymologically related.
The term New Frontier was used by liberal, Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kennedy in his acceptance speech in the 1960 United States presidential election to the Democratic National Convention at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as the Democratic slogan to inspire America to support him. The phrase developed into a label for his administration's domestic and foreign programs.
In the words of Robert D. Marcus: "Kennedy entered office with ambitions to eradicate poverty and to raise America’s eyes to the stars through the space program."
The Dukes is an American animated series which ran on CBS in 1983, based directly on the live-action television series The Dukes of Hazzard. The show was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, producer of the original series.
The show features the Duke boys and their cousin Daisy in an automobile race around the world against Boss Hogg, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, and Rosco's dog Flash in a duel for the prize money which the Dukes hope to use to keep the family farm from being foreclosed by Boss Hogg. Actually, Boss Hogg wants the money and the land for himself so he alongside Rosco and Flash plan various schemes to keep the Dukes from winning. Most of the adventures are read from a post card by Uncle Jesse Duke to his pet raccoon Smokey.
The first season took place during the period of the live-action show's replacement of the original actors with similar characters, Coy and Vance Duke, after the actors playing Bo and Luke walked out over a dispute about royalties. Thus, the first season of this animated series featured Coy and Vance. Bo and Luke eventually replaced Coy and Vance in Season 2 Episode 1 (14): "Boss O'Hogg and the Little People". This episode also featured a new introduction and voice over that reflected the change in characters.

[Verse 1:]
These niggas talkin' bout they walk talk and think bossy
I'm in the Trump Tower shower washin' ink off me
Two ugly bitches in my bed, moochin' drinks off me
My mini bar's empty, but that's just how I'm livin'
I'm in the presidential suite with two freaks, I call 'em my Kennedy Fried Chickens
"Awe yeah... I'm back... bitches"
But this is, kinda like my wilder style
Vicious, say when I'm sippin', I turn into Shallow Hal
I must have been high or somethin'
Cause I could of swore that one of these bitches told me to buy her somethin'
I told her...
"I got a present for you right here" (What?)
"Actually it's not a present. It's my penis"
I'm feelin' plastered
So what they fat women, I feel like I have to bite the Apple like the Mac emblem
One of the bitches like, "Oh I love you so much.
I love Slaughterhouse, I love Joey, Joell, Crooked. All you guys"
Shut up
"I don't like it when you talk." (What?)
"Cause that just means you're not suckin' my cock."
Bitch I'm on everything, I don't know what you just had
I'm 'bout to slip and fall and head butt yo ass like Superbad
One of 'em start somethin' super fast
The other one I gave Arabian Goggles, they flier than alien model
For now
These bitches givin' me brains till I'm out of mines
That's when I had an epiphany like "STOP! "...
Vagina time
[Chorus: samples of 'Show Me Your Genitals 2: E=MC Vagina' by comedian Jon Lajoie]
"Vagina" (What?)
"Vagina" (What?)
"I wanna have sex with your vagina" (Uhh)
"Vagina" (What?)

"What's the difference between a girl's mouth and a girl's vagina? (What?)
There is none. I want my penis to inside both of those things."
I know you gazin' at the words I text
I ain't a virgin', your wife ain't the first bird I pecked
She ain't per-fect, she per-plexed
She can't quite think
Your baby girl ain't right like birth defects
My religion is god body gynecology, I work with sex
Feelin' no pain like Percocets
Sellin' syrup and wet in church and sweat

I'll tell her hella jokes like:
"Why did my penis cross the road? " (What?)
"To get to the other vagina"
[Chorus: samples of 'Show Me Your Genitals 2: E=MC Vagina' by comedian Jon Lajoie]
"Vagina" (What?)
"Vagina" (What?)
"I wanna have sex with your vagina" (Uhh)
"Vagina" (What?)

Love is for girls and gays. (What?)
If you wanna be with me it goes one of two ways.
Either you have sex with me...
Or you have sex with me.
Girls love my sex.
I'm a good sex man.
Cause my sex is the best.
I'm like Jean Claude Van Damme.
