En medio de la recesión que vive España y otros países del sur de Europa, muchos trabajadores emigran hacia los Estados del norte, que muestran índices económicos más favorables. Sin embargo, al llegar no encuentran un futuro mejor. Noruega, por ejemplo, tiene la segunda renta per cápita más alta del mundo y la tasa de paro que ronda tan solo el 3%, y a primera vista parece una mina de oportunidades para los inmigrantes.
Así lo entendió Milena Amaya. Ahogada por la crisis económica española, esta colombiana que antes vivía en Barcelona se vio en la necesidad de migrar otra vez sola, con dos hijos, y sin saber inglés ni noruego. Gracias a un contacto personal, encontró trabajo en un pequeño restaurante. "Es duro porque no es tan fácil como lo ves desde la televisión", explica la inmigrante.
Noruega es un país con tradición receptora de emigrantes desde los años 60. Comunidades de pakistaníes, polacos o somalíes llegaron a este país para encontrar un futuro mejor. Un hecho que se repite ahora para miles de inmigrantes de Europa del sur por la crisis que asola el viejo continente. Aunque algunos temen que el remedio pueda ser peor que la enfermedad.

Norway also lays claim to a section of Antarctica known as Queen Maud Land. Until 1814, the Kingdom included the Faroe Islands (since 1035), Greenland (1261), and Iceland (1262). It also included Shetland and Orkney until 1468.
Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres (148,747 sq mi) and a population of 5,109,059 people (2014). The country shares a long eastern border with Sweden (1,619 km or 1,006 mi long). Norway is bordered by Finland and Russia to the north-east, and the Skagerrak Strait to the south, with Denmark on the other side. Norway has an extensive coastline, facing the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea.

En medio de la recesión que vive España y otros países del sur de Europa, muchos trabajadores emigran hacia los Estados del norte, que muestran índices económicos más favorables. Sin embargo, al llegar no encuentran un futuro mejor. Noruega, por ejemplo, tiene la segunda renta per cápita más alta del mundo y la tasa de paro que ronda tan solo el 3%, y a primera vista parece una mina de oportunidades para los inmigrantes.
Así lo entendió Milena Amaya. Ahogada por la crisis económica española, esta colombiana que antes vivía en Barcelona se vio en la necesidad de migrar otra vez sola, con dos hijos, y sin saber inglés ni noruego. Gracias a un contacto personal, encontró trabajo en un pequeño restaurante. "Es duro porque no es tan fácil como lo ves desde la televisión", explica la inmigrante.
Noruega es un país con tradición receptora de emigrantes desde los años 60. Comunidades de pakistaníes, polacos o somalíes llegaron a este país para encontrar un futuro mejor. Un hecho que se repite ahora para miles de inmigrantes de Europa del sur por la crisis que asola el viejo continente. Aunque algunos temen que el remedio pueda ser peor que la enfermedad.

Bergen’s main tourist attraction is the Bryggen district that originated in the middle of the fourteenth century when it was heavily influenced by the North German Hanseatic Office. The city not only boasts a fascinating history but also a number of music festivals and it was the birthplace of world famous composer Edvard Grieg. Trondheim is Norway’s historic capital in which the country’s kings have been crowned. The Nidaros Domkirke is the most splendid Gothic cathedral in northern Europe. It was built on the bones of Holy Olav. For several centuries it has been a place of pilgrimage and since the Middle Ages the Norwegian kings were crowned and also entombed within its walls. The small village of Nusfjord is located in front of a captivating backdrop of mountains. Due to its unique location it looks more like a high mountain village than a fishing settlement. It is both an historical as well as a cultural treasure. It is easy to understand why the descendants of the Vikings are so proud of their fascinating home in the extreme north. In my travel channel, I share my own trip videos from my journeys. Until now, I traveled around 40 countries and I produced 10.000 stock footage. I am professional traveler and videographer, working many microstock footage companies. In my youtube videos, I try to combine my stock footages by locations, cities and/or countries and try to show people what did I see and I experienced.
