This song came from the Earth to soothe our hearts and souls. It is our pleasure to share it with others with the hopes that it could do for others what it has done for ourselves. The melody reminds me of the gift of nourishment and tenderness. Thank you for listening and we are honored by your time, engagement and support. May we all be blessed with the gift of knowing how beautiful we truly are, and that the love that we carry inside us is truth. Recorded 04/10/16 by Alexis Eggertsen
We are delighted to share this video of one of our first songs, Courage and Faith. A few weeks back, Cody and I sat down to record some live videos of us playing and singing. We’ve been playing this song, “Courage and Faith," for a couple of years now, in many different ways. This is a slower version that we have been enjoying lately. As we are just embarking on the journey in sharing our music, please feel free to share this video with others! Thank you, Julia Bruk, for your help and for your love, as always. We appreciate and admire you so, so very much. Thank you so much for watching! We love you!!! Alexis and Cody Recorded 4/9/16 by Alexis Eggertsen and Cody Groom
This song was originally written about taking those first steps into something new or challenging. It is often the first step that is the hardest. If you want to do something, find a way to begin. For us, it’s also about embracing change, and stepping up into the callings of our hearts. We hope that the song can encourage you in the way that it has for us.
