Plot: Omar (15) and Karina's (12) mother suffers a stroke during the family holidays. Abandoned to their luck, the siblings will start a long journey through Mexico to their grandmother's house. [McQ's Pontiac has just been sandwiched and smashed between two semi trucks in an alley. The cops arrive and find McQ in the wreckage]::Police Officer: How bad are you hurt?::Det. Lt. Lon McQ: "How the hell do I know? Get some foam on this thing! I'm up to my ass in gas!", should read, "... I'm up to my butt in gas!"

Det. Lt. Lon McQ: [looking at the body of Toms, whom he has just shot. Sarcastically] Franklin Toms; a Servant of the People.

Det. Lt. Lon McQ: Elaine, I need $5000.::Elaine: I hope it's for a woman.

Myra: You're a bear. I don't like bears.

Det. Lt. Lon McQ: [on the phone] Rosie, it's me; I need... [Rosie hangs up]::Pinky: All your snitches'll dry up on you now 'cause they know you can't deal any more.::Det. Lt. Lon McQ: We'll see about that.

Police Officer: What's going on here?::Det. Lt. Lon McQ: [after punching a radical who insulted him] Bumped his knee on a chair.
