This month's interview is with Prof. Richard H. Holm of Harvard University. His research interests commenced with fundamental questions of redox-active ligand complexes and paramagnetic NMR spectroscopy of metal complexes, and led to seminal synthetic and structural work on iron-sulfur clusters that are directly related to those found in nature for electron transport.
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. At the end of life, patients experience care and anger. Sharing experiences from end of life care, Dr. Holm provides insight on what makes a good life and a good death. His choir joins him to provide a send off to TEDxBrookings. Richard P. Holm MD grew up in DeSmet, SD, Little Town on the Prairie, did undergrad and the first two years of Medical School in South Dakota, and finished his Medical School and residency at Emory U. in Atlanta, GA.
