Anubhav Sinha (born 21 June 1965) is an Indian film director known for his work in Tum Bin and Shahrukh Khan starrer Ra.One.
Anubhav Sinha was born in Allahabad to Prem Govind Sinha and Sushila Sinha. He did his schooling in Kalagarh, Garhwal. He also attended the Government Inter College and the Allahabad and Queen's College in Varanasi. He completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.
He worked for two years in New Delhi as an engineer before moving to Mumbai (then Bombay) on 4 December 1990. He worked as an assistant director to Pankuj Parashar until 1994 before branching out as an independent director with some episodes of a TV show for Zee TV. The work that got him noticed was Shikasht the flagship show of the TV Network "In Mumbai". This was followed by the successful TV show Sea Hawks for UTV. Sea Hawks was the number one show for thirty five weeks across all networks. 72 episodes later, he sprouted into the fast emerging music video scene.
