The Shahenshah of Bollywood has lent his voice to Jai Jai Kedara with other well known singers like :
Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, Shankar Mahadevan, Abhijeet, Kailash Kher, Hema Malini, Shaan, Anup Jalota, Babul Supriyo, Amrita Singh and Prasoon Joshi.
It is the promo song for the upcoming TV serial titled Baba Kedar. The 12-part show talks about the damage caused by the floods at the Kedarnath shrine and the state of Uttarakhand as well as the efforts made after the disaster of 2013. The celebs will also feature in the serial.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has assured the pilgrims that their journey to Kedarnath will be safe and smooth. Amitabh Bachchan has also wished to the people who will be travelling to the city for visiting the sacred Kedarnath temple to have a safe journey.
The serial, which is jointly produced by the Uttarakhand Government and Anupam Kher, will be aired soon on your television screens. It may also be screened on web for gaining more viewership.The serial has been shot documenting the tragedy and its aftermath. These measures are an effort to restore faith among the devotees regarding their safety during the pilgrimage.

Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan (IPA: [əmɪˈtaːbʱ ˈbəttʃən]; born 11 October 1942) is an Indian film actor. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s for movies like Zanjeer and Deewar, and was dubbed India's first "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood. Often referred to in the media as the "Shahenshah of Bollywood", "Star of the Millennium" or "Big B", he has since appeared in over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four decades. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. So total was his dominance of the movie scene in the 1970s and 1980s that the French director François Truffaut called him a "one-man industry."
Bachchan has won numerous accolades in his career, including three National Film Awards as Best Actor and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won 15 Filmfare Awards and is the most-nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 40 nominations overall. In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter. He also had a stint in politics in the 1980s.

Jagjit Singh, born Jagmohan Singh (8 February 1941 – 10 October 2011), was a prominent Indian Ghazal singer, composer and musician. Known as the "Ghazal King", he gained acclaim together with his wife, another renowned Indian ghazal singer Chitra Singh in the 1970s and 1980s. Their combination album comprising music from the films, Arth and Saath Saath is the HMV's largest selling combination album of all time. Sajda (An Offering, 1991), Jagjit Singh's magnum opus double album with Lata Mangeshkar holds the same record in non-film category. He sang in numerous languages. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the government of India in 2003. In February 2014, Government of India released a postal stamp in his honour.
Singh is credited for the revival and popularity of ghazal, an Indian classical art form, by choosing poetry that was relevant to the masses and composing them in a way that laid more emphasis on the meaning of words and melody evoked by them. In terms of Indian Classical music, his style of composing and Gayaki (singing) is considered as Bol-pradhan, one that lays emphasis on words. He highlighted this in his music for films such as Prem Geet (1981), Arth and Saath Saath (1982), and TV serials Mirza Ghalib (1988) and Kahkashan (1991). Jagjit Singh is considered to be the most successful ghazal singer and composer of all time in terms of critical acclaim and commercial success. With a career spanning five decades and a repertoire comprising over 80 albums, the range and breadth of his work has been regarded as genre-defining. He is the only composer and singer to have composed and recorded songs written by former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee – also a poet – in two albums, Nayi Disha (1999) and Samvedna (2002).

In a candid conversation with TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan admits that although a lot of film artists managed to enter the political arena, he would still be uncomfortable in that field. Bachchan also says that as artists, they are more concerned with their own creative work and hence prefer to be on the right side.
Bachchan also speaks about the pain he went through when his name was dragged into the Bofors scandal. He notes that this has encouraged him to maintain a dignified silence on several issues. On a lighter note, Bachchan says that he would like to be a journalist, as this would allo him to ask sharp and hard-hitting questions, instead of having to face them.

He is enraged when Heera proposes to marry his ward, Gauri (Rachana Bannerjee); and even more angered when Heera flip-flops, albeit at the request of Gauri, and refuses to marry her. Heera is shunned by one and all in the family, including Gauri. And then Radha (Soundarya) enters his life; she marries him; encourages him to live independently; and helps his business flourish. Soon they are blessed with birth of a son. Heera fulfills his father's dream of a charitable hospital for the poor. Bhanupratap comes to know of his grandchild, and meets him secretly. It was on the sets of Prakash Mehra’s Blockbuster SHARABI that we met with Amitabh Bachchan. Mumbai is always hot and humid and Amitabh was wearing a long sleeved fleece top. The scene that was being filmed is on the screen for only a minute, but it took the whole morning to film it. We sat patiently to get to interview the Big B. Our crew had flown from Vancouver to Mumbai for this interview. Once he sat down, the interview was over in no time.
