Shweta Mohan is an award-winning Indian playback singer. She has sung in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages. She is the daughter of the legendary singer Sujatha Mohan.

Shweta has sung for some of the most celebrated music directors in India like A. R. Rahman, Vidyasagar, Ilayaraja, M. Jayachandran, Johnson, Sharreth, Ousepachan, Deepak Dev, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, V. Harikrishna, G. V. Prakash, Mani Sharma, Kannan, N. R. Raghunanthan, Manikanth Kadri, Devi Sri Prasad and Anirudh Ravichander. She is learning Carnatic classical music from Smt. Binni Krishnakumar and Hindustani classical music from Sri. Ghulam Niyaz Khan.

Kizhakku Cheemayile

Kizhakku Cheemayile (English: Eastern Province) is a 1993 Tamil film directed by Bharathiraaja. It has music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film involves a touching sentimental story between a brother and a sister. Radhika and Vijayakumar have been highly praised for their roles in the film. The film was one among Deepavali releases of 1993. Later it was remade in Telugu in 1994 as Palnati Pourusham.

Script and dialogue writer M. Rathna Kumar first approached S. Thanu to produce this film. Thanu liked the script. worked on it with him and then asked him to narrate it to Bharathirajaa, saying he is the appropriate person to direct the film. The project became a reality after he came on board.

The film was made on first copy basis by Bharathirajaa for the producer at a cost of ₹80 lakhs. Originally, Rajkiran was considered for the role of Maayaandi. However, when his salary expectation was too high, Vijayakumar was finally selected for the role.

Vijay Yesudas (born 23 March 1979) is an Indian classical musician, playback singer, and actor.

Vijay's known for his work predominantly in the South Indian film industry, especially Malayalam and Tamil films as well as in other Indian languages such as Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Vijay is the son of acclaimed singer K. J. Yesudas. Vijay made his debut as a singer with the Malayalam film Millennium Stars (2000). He has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer thrice for his songs "Kolakkuzhal Vili Ketto" in the film "Nivedyam" , "Akaleyo nee" in Grandmaster and "Mazhakondu mathram" in Spirit (2012). He's known for his collaboration with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja in Tamil cinema.

Early life

Vijay Yesudas Kattassery was born on 23 March 1979 in Madras (now Chennai) to singer K. J. Yesudas and Prabha. He is the second son in the family, having an elder brother named Vinod and a younger one, Vishal. He is the grandson of stage singer Augustine Joseph. He studied in Chennai till his 9th grade and left for the US for further studies. He graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in music.
