Jonah Ray Rodrigues (born August 3, 1982) is an American actor, comedian and writer from Los Angeles.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Ray later moved to Los Angeles. He first pursued opportunities in indie music, but then focused on writing and performing comedy.
Ray started as a writer's assistant for The Andy Milonakis Show, as well as working as a writer and performer on Showtime's sketch comedy pilot "The Offensive Show". He is also a frequent sketch and stand-up performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles and has made appearances on programs such as Saul of the Molemen, Crossballs, The Sarah Silverman Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. He also hosted "Joe Genius", an online program about humor and homegrown science, on Revision3. Previously, he worked as a writer and occasional voice actor on Current TV's program SuperNews!. He previously wrote for Web Soup on the G4 network and currently writes for The Soup on E!.
Ray hosts a weekly comedy show called The Meltdown with Kumail Nanjiani, produced by Emily Gordon, at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles.

Plot: Handguns figure in the intertwining lives of nine people. Warren shoots his wife Helen's lover and his defense is that he thought he was shooting an intruder. She leaves him; the lawyer helps her get a job with a nutty, reclusive computer wizard who waves a pistol about, sometimes at Helen. Tennel, the computer geek's ex-assistant, lands a video-store job and is smitten by Annabel Lee, an aggressive street kid who likes complaining about men to her pistol-packing psychotic brother to set him off. In secret, Annabel starts an affair with the lawyer, who has both a pistol and a gay lover, who becomes jealous. He has a pistol too. A cool (and armed) cop stays on Warren's tail.
