Baahubali (English: Strongest) is the the upcoming Indian epic film that will be simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil languages. The film will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi and in several Foreign languages.^[1] The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati.^{[2] [3]} The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works banner. Film director K. Raghavendra Rao is presenting the film. The soundtrack for the film will be composed by M. M. Keeravani. National Award winner Sabu Cyril has been roped in as art director for the film.^[4]

The director of the film Rajamouli and Prabhas worked on 6 to 7 subjects to finalize their project before the release of Magadheera. As the director is a Perfectionist on selecting the right subject they have finalized Baahubali.^[7]

Tamil actor Sathyaraj signed the film.^[6] He will be sporting a Tonsured look.^[8] Kannada actor Sudeep is doing a small but important role in the film.^[9] Adivi Sesh was roped in for a crucial role in the film.^[10]

Pre production[link]

The director and his team went for a location hunt in the few parts of Karnataka and Kerala.^[11] After Scouting some locations in South, director and his team went to Rajasthan to scout more locations.^[12] Prabhas, Rana and Anushka have doing some home work for the film. They are practicing Sword fighting and Prabhas and Rana are also learning Horse riding.^[13] The director of the film is currently busy with the design of weapons.^[14] The filming of the film will start in June, 2013.^[15]

The director of the film has confirmed that the filming of film shall start on July 6, 2013 and will use Alexa XT camera(s) made by Arri (Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (A&R)) company to shoot the film. The producer of the film has confirmed that the film would be shot in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously and will be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi and in several Foreign languages and all versions will be released on the same date of release.^[1] The shooting of the film has started at Rock Gardens in Kurnool.^[16]
