Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 [O.S. January 6, 1705] – April 17, 1790) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. A renowned polymath, Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, freemason, postmaster, scientist, inventor, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat. As a scientist, he was a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity. As an inventor, he is known for the lightning rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove, among other inventions. He facilitated many civic organizations, including Philadelphia's fire department and a university.
Franklin earned the title of "The First American" for his early and indefatigable campaigning for colonial unity, first as an author and spokesman in London for several colonies. As the first United States Ambassador to France, he exemplified the emerging American nation. Franklin was foundational in defining the American ethos as a marriage of the practical values of thrift, hard work, education, community spirit, self-governing institutions, and opposition to authoritarianism both political and religious, with the scientific and tolerant values of the Enlightenment. In the words of historian Henry Steele Commager, "In a Franklin could be merged the virtues of Puritanism without its defects, the illumination of the Enlightenment without its heat." To Walter Isaacson, this makes Franklin "the most accomplished American of his age and the most influential in inventing the type of society America would become."

I Am may refer to:
Over the past few days I have been adding the buildings. A wooden Ork structure - they were here first. Then the modern Space Marine Power Generator. Finally the Steampunk Cranes and Coaling Stage. I then use moss and stick it dangling down from the cavern roof as vines. I use a contact adhesive and tacks to hold it, then spray it with unscented hairspray to help hold it. I decided to add two 3v circuits using a 2032 battery. One circuit power a tiny motor that rotates every 4 seconds. So I connected a radar dish to this and called it a Ground Radar used to detect Alien invaders. I also used a rear flashing Brake Van LED and out that in one of the stilts holding the track. This is a Red Alert light. Also Thunderchief loco is finished as a Steampunk machine. There are two Caledonian B...

May 2nd, I went to LaBelle, near Fort Myers to launch the EZI-65 using an L265. Predicted Altitude was a smidgen over 12k. It was forecasted to be much less windy, it was REALLY windy - like near 20 MPH so I held off launching until around noon. The wind calmed and I was ready to go. Five... Four... Three... Two... One... Liftoff, looked AWESOME!!!! OMG SO COOL, lots of power, direct straight up flight. Then something drastic happened @ 646 feet. At first, I didn't know if I stressed the poor frame out on the glassed EZI and it failed or if I had motor failure. What happened next explained everything. The motor re-ignited and started pumping major amounts of POWER out of a side hole near the top of the case - Motor failure, not build failure! This caused my rocket to come down, spirall...
Please watch in 720p [HD] + headphones! :) ******************************************************************** » “No! No, I-” Clove sees the stone, about the size of a small loaf of bread in Thresh’s hand and loses it. “Cato!” she screeches. “Cato!” “Clove!” I hear Cato’s answer, but he’s too far away, I can tell that much, to do her any good. What was he doing? Trying to get Foxface or Peeta? Or had he been lying in wait for Thresh and just badly misjudged his location? Thresh brings the rock down hard against Clove’s temple. It’s not bleeding, but I can see the dent in her skull and I know that she’s a goner.” Cato kneels beside Clove, spear in hand, begging her to stay with him. In a moment, he will realize it’s futile, she can’t be saved. « - The Hunger Games, pg. 287 ********...

Goal setting is one thing, but how about 'fear setting'? Tim Ferriss encourages us to ask ourselves “What’s the worst that could happen?” – and not treat it rhetorically. Ferriss' latest book is "Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers" (https://goo.gl/BZTial). "[President Obama has] done more drone strikes than any president in history, he's deported more illegal immigrants, than any president in history [...] more marijuana raids than any president in history. So in that sense, he has a lot to boast about and yet I don't hear him boasting about most of these things," says David Boaz, executive vice president of the Cato Institute. Reason magazine's Matt Welch sat down with Boaz at FreedomFest 2012 to discuss why progressives should be upset with President Obama, how many libertarians are really out there and control of the Cato Institute. Held each July in Las Vegas, FreedomFest is attended by around 2,000 limited-government enthusiasts and libertarians a year. ReasonTV spoke with over two dozen speakers and attendees and will be releasing in...
