Paparazzi /pɑːpəˈrɑːtsi/ (singular: (m) Paparazzo Italian: [papaˈrattso] or (f) Paparazza) is an Italian term used to refer to photojournalists who specialize in candid photography of athletes, celebrities, politicians, and other prominent people. Paparazzi tend to be independent contractors, unaffiliated with any mainstream media organization. Paparazzi photographers are often described as an unacceptable annoyance by celebrities.
Paparazzi are reported to be rude, pushy and ignorant. Many celebrities complain about the extent to which paparazzi invade their personal space, and some have even filed restraining orders against them.
The word "paparazzi" is an eponym originating in the 1960 film La Dolce Vita directed by Federico Fellini. One of the characters in the film is a news photographer named Paparazzo (played by Walter Santesso). In his book Word and Phrase Origins, Robert Hendrickson writes that Fellini took the name from an Italian dialect word that describes a particularly annoying noise, that of a buzzing mosquito. As Fellini said in his interview to Time magazine, “Paparazzo… suggests to me a buzzing insect, hovering, darting, stinging.” There is a similarity with the Italian word "pappataci" a name for a small mosquito. Those versions of the word's origin are nevertheless contested.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (/ˈstɛfəniː dʒʌrməˈnɑːtə/ STE-fə-nee jurr-mə-NAH-tə; born March 28, 1986), known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in New York City, she primarily studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and briefly attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She began performing in the rock music scene of Manhattan's Lower East Side, and was signed with Streamline Records by the end of 2007. During her employment as a songwriter for the record company, her vocal abilities captured the attention of recording artist Akon, who signed her to his label Kon Live Distribution.
Lady Gaga came to prominence as a recording artist following the release of her debut album The Fame (2008), which was a critical and commercial success that topped charts around the world and included the international number-one singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". After embarking on the The Fame Ball Tour, she followed the album with The Fame Monster (2009), which spawned the worldwide hit singles "Bad Romance", "Telephone" and "Alejandro". The album's success allowed her to embark on the eighteen-month long Monster Ball Tour, which later became one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time. Her most recent album Born This Way (2011) topped the charts of most major markets and generated more international chart-topping singles, including "Born This Way", "Judas" and "The Edge of Glory". Besides her musical career, she involves herself with humanitarian causes and LGBT activism.

Plot: Lost is a short film from Boomarang Entertainment in which a guy (Beaumont) returning to Los Angeles from touring Europe struggles to reconnect to his home life. Frustrated with the various situations that happen throughout the day he begins to psychotically lash out against them before he violently finally snaps. This film is basically about how much can go wrong in a person's life all at once. It starts out with his luggage being lost, and then ultimately ends up with every good thing in his life being lost as well. The film itself is interspersed with quick edits of what he's actually thinking rather than what he's saying, which gives an interesting insight into the character. The film itself is just a short, but manages to tell the story quite well. While there are a few amusing aspects to the film, it's mostly a serious story and leaves you really kind of feeling for the guy whose life has just spiraled out of control through no fault of his own.

Next to the transit lounge
see the Paparazzi tears.

from Boston or Tangiers.

faceless trippers trip,
loaded with duty free
held in white knuckle grip.
Snap it up, flash away --
steal a camel for a day.
Break the story in heavy type --
the news is running late tonight.
Be-decked with Nikon necklaces
hear the Paparazzi cries.
Under their noses walk
the famous in disguise.
Conspicuously huddled there
but no-one stops to look.
They've got their crayons out

Break the story in heavy type --
Paparazzi won't be home tonight.
Paparazzi -- write it down.
